I've been here for over a decade, and I just want my dream pets, yknow? I would love a biannual rerelease instead of just 12/18. would make it less of a slog especially bc of the hoarders.

I want to say that the mods have stated that there will only be the 12/18 rerelease. Hoarders are going to hoard no matter what.

i would honestly love a different theme for each event, yknow?

like we could have a nice forest background for the current event , maybe featuring a different pet you could collect that day if that makes any sense-

I'll have to look for it! But I believe they have stated they won't do any more RR dates. If anyone finds it before I do, please link it. I'm going to dig now, haha

A pastel pink board theme would be so amazing!!! A whole array of themes could be added, such as pastel themes (icy blue, pastel pink, etc.), animal themes (cats, dogs, butterflies, etc.), some more cool themes like the one I have in my signature (frozen/ice), cartoon themes, etc. In general, I think I would love a barbie color theme going on ^^

I would DIE for a cat theme.

Imagine themes centered around every species on CS. So that when new species are added, people have a new site theme to look forward to using.

Ooooh, it’d be super fun if there was a way to have color themes/backgrounds to choose from, but what if we could insert pets or items in places we choose around the border of the board theme? Almost like an “insert pet/item here”, almost functioning as a stamp collection type of set-up, or something with the freedom of dress-up scenes (such as being able to use any pets you own in your collection. …or what if they had different fonts you could swap out for the site header too, similar to the premade links in dress-up scenes?) …not quite sure how possible that would be or anything, but the idea is fun to think about haha!

I stand corrected. However, I feel like what was said here is still fairly relevant to this topic.

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I joined in 2014 but only played incredibly casually for a few months before quitting for years. I just picked it up again last year and have honestly been very overwhelmed since although I have enjoyed my time for the most part. As many people have mentioned, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out trading values. Nor do I have to patience (or mental capasity) to really try to figure it out. So this is certainly a huge issue that admins just don't seem to address at all. Every suggestion really does get shut down, with little to no thought. "Staff have stated there will be no rerelease of store pets." "Staff have stated there will be no rerelease of older pets beyond Dec 18th." Why though? I know reasons have been given, but all the reasons I have ever seen really only work for when the site was in its first few years of running. Now that older pets and store pets have such absolute INSANE value, I'm sorry but, those reasons just don't sound good anymore. SOMETHING needs to be done, and if admins keep shutting people down, refusing to change any aspect of the site even a little, and ignore the issues that are right in front of them, the site will shut down. It's not a matter of if, but when. I hate to be a downer, but I'm afraid that's just how it is. I really hope that doesn't happen, but I fear that is where it is headed. I could go on and on about suggestions, things that need to be done, and all that, but I'll end my rant here for now.
I will end this by giving some things that I like about the site:
The artists create some awesome looking pets!
Many people are so kind in the community and I've recieved many random gifts from people.
A lot of the staff are also very friendly and fun.
I like the aspect of being able to trade using other websites. A lot of websites I feel do not allow this and I'm so glad ChickenSmoothie does.

adding onto what foxcloud19 said, the rarities of pets and the value differences is so bonkers and like even players that have been on here for YEARS can’t figure it out sometimes unless you devote like a wild amount of
time into this site which not everyone has time for,, this makes the sit incredibly unapproachable to newer players and the staff seem to not be doing much about it ,,..
