If i remember correctly, item rarities cant be added because they dont have an ID. Each peton the site has jts own ID, but items dont. Every duplicate item has the same ID.
But it would make it easier, though it could also seriously backfire and i crease the values even more.
Looking for CATS!
Currebtly cleaning up after a fire in our house!

Chickensmoothie has been thankfully free of predatory behavior and that is becaus of its strict regulation what is allowed to be posted on forums and in PMs. This can often be suffocating and boring for the older user base, but it is a necessary precaution to protect children on this site.
The perception that CS is mostly adult users is based on limited interactions in forums and in CS-related discords but does not represent the actual number of children they may not be as active on the social side of chickensmoothie.
While having a discord would make chatting easier, and would likely breathe new life into CS, it comes at a risk that many users and the admins are not willing to take. Even if the site was 90% 18 and up, I still believe the staff would choose to make this a comfortable environment for children as this is and has always intended to be a children's site.

I agree with this however it can be solved by making it read only and for people to get direct notifications on things

Another thing that could be done is making an official Chicken Smoothie app? I don't believe I've seen that suggested before

I’ve seen this suggested in my earlier time here on cs

I don't really come to CS to socialise. (It's nice, of course, but not my main reason for being here.) The main reason I'm here is for the pets. I don't really trade, I just enjoy the pets I have. The problem is, there isn't really much to this, and a bit more interaction would keep me here for much longer.

Another site I'm on that's very similar to CS has options where you can feed/brush/play with your pets or write little stories in their descriptions. I'd appreciate a few buttons to click, even if it did functionally nothing, it'd make me feel more like I was interacting with something. Currently I just sort of sign on, look at pictures, then leave again for another month.

So maybe an overhaul of what you can actually do with the pets would be nice too (but must be totally optional for those who don't want to engage with it)

SO many people would love being able to add descriptions. I think that's a great suggestion. Perhaps having a small system like''friendship points'' (lol) would be great, I'd be worried about adding a brushing feature where you must brush *all* otherwise they'd leave vs being able to rack up points for something you don't have to do but *can' do for fun. Maybe it like, counts up xp instead. Im not sure.

This is something I fully agree with! I do understand why so many user want a discord, but I feel like user safety is much more important. CS can't monitor private messages on discord and kids will always lie about their age if they tried to make it age restricted. By having an official discord without a solid way to monitor safety, CS wouldn't be doing their part in protecting their users.

I still feel like this can be fixed by just making it read only and you’re unable to see other users except mods in the sidebar

we've done so much token hunting here y'all it's not funny
but we fully support a read-only discord! a user could even set it up themselves and gift the server to CS staff so all they have to do is post!

I probably have an unpopular opinion, but... I think mods shouldn't be required to use Tone tags. Going to work, I doubt many people get those in their E-Mails. It's Chickensmoothie so I can understand why people would say use them, and I most certainly think there's a point! But also not everyone wants to use them or wants them to be used for them. If that makes sense.

Some people stated they get uncomfortable, which I like... totally understand. However, someone shouldn't be required to change the way they speak *just* because someone else wants them to. That's not okay and feels like a bad path to go down. Additionally, some people get uncomfortable when others use them on them.

I think some users either have to get used to it, as it would be a good skill to have in the world, or for those who REALLY need it, maybe there can be something that only staff can see stating that the user needs those, so someone who is comfortable using them can go and use them with the user. Like, a tiny note that mods could read. People who gift siblings often could even put that information there. I'm unsure, but I think it may work depending on COPPA laws and such.

I do think that sometimes Mods can be aggressive, I'm sure that there are times where they are, after all, they're human. Should that be excused? Well that's up to you. I just felt like stating that after saying my previous information above.

Like I said, I get not liking monotone messages. Sometimes you get the feeling the person behind the screen is super angry. They are only trying to be professional, like they would in an actual Job (I am assuming CS Mods don't get paid), and 99% of the time they aren't mad.

Small Edit: I think there is a way to sound more friendly too, if it is truly a huge problem. I think using ''!'' and emojis help a lot. In terms of rule breaking, strict *is* the best way. That's my personal opinion, as it may prevent you from breaking it again.

We never said that we wanted mods to have to use tone tags, we just said that we want them to be a little less harsh when informing people about the rules.
