I know more re-releases was suggested, so I want to add to that. Maybe it could be a gift on the birthday that you selected when you join the site! You get a gift to open on that day (or month) that is a re-released pet. Perhaps it could have a wait period, too, so for example a user can't join or create multiple users and immediately get a re-released pet that month.

This is such a cute suggestion! A lot of players like having pets with the same birthday as them, so being able to adopt a pet on your birthday as a little 'present' would be a lot of fun!

What about a live mod QnA for maybe an hour every few months? We know you're very busy people doing this for free, so if that's not an option we all understand!

Also, I addressed in my pther posts a lot of reasons why a staff-approved trading guide would not be feasible or match the intention of the site allowing you to collect and trade how you please. Knowing exact rarities would create a similar problem, and I honeslty don't support it. I wouldn't be opposed to something like a further expanded number of rarity categorizations or something.

Would showing the real stats/numbers of how many of a pet exist and other similar things really affect trading though? People don't have to look at it.
Only those with interest have to take the time and build rarities based on the objective facts. Then, at least it would be easier to determine what a pet is really worth compared to what people claim it to be worth. People are still allowed to trade how they please, but afterwards it'd just be much easier if you don't want to overpay for a pet but still want to be fair.

I wish that we could play more mini games for regular event tokens instead of having to wait 20 minutes for just one. They're getting there with this event by having secondary tokens like the fish, but they require spending beads and they need another way to be attained. Don't get me started on having to wait a whole hour for one bracelet.

i dont think there's that much of a problem with the tokens! sure there's limits but it's still very possible to get all the pets with those limits, with extra mini games i think there'd be too many event pets circulating around ^^;

I agree; I think the event is very expensive this year as far as tokens are concerned! I've been at it since the first day and trading every day and I still have 10 or so pets I'm missing and I just don't have the time of day to spend collecting SO many tokens. I think it would be best if everything didn't cost 3+ tokens

Thatd be so cute... would definitely be a way to get people to visit i think!! I know i would make sure to be like "oh jts my cs birthday. Hooray!!!" Idk i just think its be cute :3c

Side note about mods/admin/communication: Internet interactions and the intent behind messages can sometimes be confusing. Someone speaking professionally may sound condescending to an average player, maybe even sometimes rude. I don't think it's typically ever intended to be that way and it's important to remember that mods/admin DO need to keep some layer of seperation between themselves and most players. Gotta be careful about power imbalances and the possibility of forming parasocial relationships (ESPECIALLY when involving younger users!)

Personally haven't had any issues with mods, but I do tend to keep to myself.

also wanted to come on here and saw that! i’m autistic myself and have a hard time understanding tone, but every admin and mod message that i’ve read has just been professional. i’ve been a director and manager at a restaurant, and have had to use plenty of professional messages and communication techniques, so perhaps that’s why i am able to understand these messages so well, but they’ve never come across as rude. just professional and respectful. plus, the admin need to send the message to players that they ARE the heads of this site, and therefore do require respect, and that’s another reason why this professional language and tone is being used.

This would be awesome! Just gotta make sure you can't change your birthday around because I have seen people abusing putting their birthday as something it isn't and then changing it back after :p

It's important to consider that other people have had less pleasant experiences. I'm very happy that you all have had great encounters with staff, but not all of us have. /gen /nbr <3

This would actually be another interesting feature to add on to being able to change the dates to true dates for re release pets. I've seen people desperately ID swapping and collecting dates like 4-20 so getting an option to change pet dates (probably for a fee of some sort) would help alleviate a lot of user problems.
