Gotta be careful about power imbalances and the possibility of forming parasocial relationships (ESPECIALLY when involving younger users!)

Personally haven't had any issues with mods, but I do tend to keep to myself.

They should give the real stats of the rarity groups.
All numbers of how many of a pet exist so rarity can be based on fact, with demand only being a fraction of a factor because people know that x many more are in circulation.

This is absolutely a good idea to implement to be able to know how many pets are actually available to adopt altogether for each pet and whether they're in the pound or many belong to a specific person (though that may be hard to show). On the other hand though this could also be used by people to hoard those certain low number pets to get extra money and bring up the pricing.

I'd like stats just cause I like stats in general (they're interesting to me), but on this I'd rather have stats for things like the banner pet drop rate because that would really help quell a lot of the anxiety and stress that arises from them during events, as well help cull some of the demand for overpay. (I did make a spreadsheet for the Halloween event that put the drop rate at ~1%, but I'd love some official confirmation).

seconding this. i would really love for the stats of pets to be released. i don't understand why we can't know how many of certain pets there are. i personally think it'd significantly help the trading scene on this site, as we will have a better understanding to how many of each pet there are as opposed to just guessing based off demand and supply.

thank you both for the input!
this would make for a great suggestion thread by itself, if anyone would like to make it!

@winx
yes, anyone is free to dm me with questions! im not as active because i got some major burnout but i love helping in any way i possibly can. <3

THIS!!!!!!! The link stuff has always seemed odd to me but i understood as it is a site aimed towards kids, but i rarely see children young enough to be coppa players (by see i mean get trades from ig) so i agree with implementing what FR uses!! The location thing also sounds very creepy and while Im very forgiving im also someone who has fears of people breaking into my house/stalking me!!! So that is Not Cool!!! And seeing that it wasnt a one off (another person posted abt it) freaks me out!!

I think a rule overhaul/review would be a good idea!!!

I just want to clarify the "location thing" is just that when mods issue a warning about personal information we generally include what the information was in the message so we know what you were supposed to remove if another mod is following up with it. So if your location (or age, name, email, etc.) was in the message it was because you put that publicly on the internet for people to see, accessible from CS. I don't expect any change to the rules about personal information or inappropriate content, as it has always been kind of the whole idea of the site that it is a safe place for children.

Also, I addressed in my pther posts a lot of reasons why a staff-approved trading guide would not be feasible or match the intention of the site allowing you to collect and trade how you please. Knowing exact rarities would create a similar problem, and I honeslty don't support it. I wouldn't be opposed to something like a further expanded number of rarity categorizations or something.

Finally, please remember to be constructive and not just use this thread to rant/vent. Posts like that will be removed it reported or if a mod sees them.

Any time a mod has DM'd me, it's been pretty positive! However, I had one time awhile ago on a Discord server with a CS mod that wasn't very positive. Just passive aggressiveness, so I completely understand where other people are coming from.

Question for the mod team: Do you all have some sort of refresher on how to handle the player base?

I know more re-releases was suggested, so I want to add to that. Maybe it could be a gift on the birthday that you selected when you join the site! You get a gift to open on that day (or month) that is a re-released pet. Perhaps it could have a wait period, too, so for example a user can't join or create multiple users and immediately get a re-released pet that month.

I wish that we could play more mini games for regular event tokens instead of having to wait 20 minutes for just one. They're getting there with this event by having secondary tokens like the fish, but they require spending beads and they need another way to be attained. Don't get me started on having to wait a whole hour for one bracelet.

for all the people saying mods have been helpful to them, i believe maybe ive just had experiences where i cant read tone correctly. i have quite a hard time when it comes to that sort of stuff and i can understand that a professional tone can come off as intimidating or rude. i just really need tone indicators lmaoo

also i do agree that the site maybe needs to lighten up about how strict they are?? alot of users on here are adults, and although there are some kids, alot of us have grown up thru the years and itd be awesome if it wasnt so strict! :)

i completely understand that my location was on a different site, but it was entirely out of the way of CS and was only able to be found on my etsy, which is one of the only ways i can make money at the moment, i just personally felt extremely uncomfortable and almost violated by the fact someone had went through that many links and proceeded to put my location on cs, i understand you can find my location on a different site, but it was not on CS, until it was put in a PM. i personally would have preferred if i were just told to remove my toyhouse link in my bio, because it leads to my location, instead of them directly stating my location - i can't exactly remove it from my etsy anyway, y'know?
