This could be a good idea actually
Okay I wasn't going to comment on this thread bc it seems like my opinion on the site has already been said but slfjsljfkesl I agree! I'd like to see an average price counter thingy - I don't really care for thinking about how practical it'd be to implement this but honestly it'd help so much!

Well say someone has been offline for at least 2 and a half years thats a reason to put the account into inactive they can even send a message stating your account has been inactive for this number of days month or year and give them a choice whether to start it up or let them scrub it clean of pets and items into the Pound and Lost and Found... I feel that should be a option for older players who don't want to stop playing but are simply taking a break before returning. Yes a price counter is a must I'm sick of the unbalance and things and the help system to answer those questions of value could also be completely wrong I often suck at math so I don't know what value I have to make a 1.5 non even if explained in a very old "Guide" which is out of date by today standards I just trade what I think is fair value it all depends on who wants the pet? really now.

Before I forget I got a new idea to add to my original point, maybe if it has like a stupid high price average it could have a higher chance of showing up in the dec 18th box? ( I also think that there should be more than three dec18 boxes, maybe 5 to help give people more of a chance? I got a super disappointing box onetime that was literally from a litter of all uncommons and 1 rare )

Honestly, I feel people quit so much because of the rude/downright mean people. The amount of times I’ve gotten a terrible cancel message because I accidentally misread their rules or they just didn’t think the trade was fair is crazy and it’s gotten to the point where I never read the cancel messages because I’m scared they’ll be rude.

The Wandering System
-snip-
I've heard it's gotten a lot better on AJ! It would be cool if CS could implement a free C$ system. Like a award based system for doing things across the site. Dressing up your pet a certain amount of times, trading certain things or amount of times you've logged in. Little things like that, which slowy but eventually get you C$ would be amazing!
Now is the question of how CS would be able to keep income with that system. The C$ earning from achievements could be a very small amount but you gain it overtime. This way users will want to be more active and in doing so will see more ads while also not having to spend anything on C$.

I swear this has to do with the topic but I just organized all my pets I have around 9000 and the process of organizing was so tedious :( I think a lot of this website is fairly outdated including the achieve. I also think perhaps people, mainly the youth, just aren't as into pet collection sites as they used to be.

Akitaboyo wrote:Figured I'd put my two cents in, as an artist, I see clearly it is WAY easier to get high list/value pets.
If you make HQ art it is way easier to obtain high list pets through commissions, this is the way I was able to get so many valuable pets suddenly after coming back from YEARS of being inactive. Yes I now stay to collect all the monthly pets but most importantly I use this site to browse the looking for art forums to find either dreamies or USD commissions that provide for me outside of the site.
Trading is incredibly grindy and, although I obtained my first OMGSR from hard grinding trades, pretty much unfeasible for the average player. Not to mention all the younger players who will sometimes have to put up with older people deceiving them about pet values, getting overly angry over pixel trades, etc.
Anyways, the market is heavily benefiting artists with years experience in art whether it be through contests or commissions.
Maybe I should try to learn the sites art program, or participate in off-site program art honestly, I'd love to draw other people's characters and take on commissions, but the paint program here is overwhelming for me especially because it doesn't really feel mobile friendly.

Here's the last thing I'll say as i've missed several banners just reading posts and should get back to grinding
It seems a lot of people are always close to quitting for one reason or another and it all boils down to the site's management.
There just aren't enough new things plus no opportunity to get old things. Even during one of the coolest events I've taken part in, all these people are upset enough to speak out on the hopelessness they feel while trading, the dread of seeing the site community die, and the feeling that things could improve with small, possible changes more often. I think the general consensus that has been around for years is that we need another coder.

I would like a system implemented somehow for people like me that need things ordered to be able to get the dates changed for re release pets to fit in with their exact year.
Whether you need to use C$ or something to get that, I wouldn't mind. I don't care to change dates to try and get more trade value, I just want my collection pets to be able to have the order they're meant to be in with their dates. Because chicken smoothie has it so you're pets are ordered by the time and dates, for someone like me re-release pets aren't ones I can use, but I still want to be able to get those older pets of course.
It's more frustrating when I can't get the special release pets for that year and instead I just have a few re-release pets that will just be rotting in my trades. I honestly don't know if I'll ever be able to get any special release because I don't understand all that MA non stuff, so I just have the past two years pets unfinished (for probably forever) just because of those special release.

That's a lot of pets just sitting around that could go to new users that don't have any! One of the biggest problems (in my opinion) is the barrier between new players and old players, so I think making it easier to get pets from the pound could help, even if it turns out to just be a little bit of a change,
I'm not sure how this could work, but I really like the idea of switching up the Pound so that it isn't as crazy as it currently is !!
what about 2x the amount of pets there is on average in the pound? what if we had 2,000-3,000 pets put in, instead of 1,000 average? when the pound starts running “low” we can just switch it back and wait for more pets to go to the pound. i also think that, newer players should have a higher chance of getting a rare/vr on their front page on the pound. Let’s say no shorter then 1 month old account but no older then 1 year.
