Here's some interesting blurbs that I saw from the search for Cirrus:

Saiki spends the afternoon birdwatching. That is... an oddly disturbing amount of owls staring back from the trees!

zant. spends the afternoon birdwatching. A small flock is startled into the air by something.

Eek! persontea is almost tripped by a bunch of squirrels skittering off into the forest, startled by something.

The owl one definitely strikes me as odd.

After reading all the clues and some of the discussion, I came up with some theories

I know Andrea said that Cirrus wouldn't lose her bracelet so easily but what if she really did? Someone speculated that perhaps they got into a fight, so maybe it distracted her enough to lose it without noticing. She realised it that night, searched her sleeping bag and bear-proof bag for it, and when she couldn't find it, set off looking for it. Got lost and ended up near the cave where she lit a campfire.

She was the single person caught by the heat sensor, leaving. The two returning... were Mason and his brother - walking funny because he was in cryptidisguise after pulling a hoax on Sera. I'm not sure if Mason feels the need to pull a hoax if he's so convinced that there are cryptids but I think someone made a similar suggestion, and I like the mental image of him walking back with his brother in a cryptid suit

You return to your new friend and they show you that they have a heat sensor as well as a motion detector that they set up outside their camp at night. When you ask about the disappearance the night before, they’re able to show you the data. Late at night someone walked by their tent, and then later on two came back, but the information on the heat sensor looks strange; the second individual was definitely walking strangely. Either way, at least it wasn’t bears, right?"


Maybe some sort of animal with something wrong with their feet/legs?

While walking through the woods, Soratha spots a large animal footprint. It looks a little long to be a bear print...they quickly sketch what they saw in a notepad.

LuckyKoii found some weird footprints, but before they could draw them a deer ran across and ruined them. (CONSPIRACY BY DEER????

This isnt exactly sus, but... WHAT??? BunnnillaBeast caught Zeena eating some bird seed... huh?

Plus, a lot of talk about cryptids.... 🤔

Mason is still on about creatures in the woods? Well, I'm leaning on the logical side. It seems someone with access to supplies is behind at least some of the things that have gone on here, and I don't think that cryptids would have that. If you really fished some up, well, that's just more proof that something else is going on. Tessie wouldn't have been able to kidnap Cirrus!

Thanks to your investigation, we think that Cirrus is located in or near some caves that are quite far from camp. They're not on the map, so we will need to do more investigating to find a safe path there! Gather your things and we'll head out on the hiking trails. Make sure you stay with your buddy! I know you found some strange fish in the lake... perhaps Mason is right that there are other creatures out there.

i believe mason was definitely responsible, there was a quote somewhere abt how masons brother pranked some people by flying around at night with ‘glowing red eyes’ which is something cirrus has seen. pennys verse today also is really telling abt how someone (or multiple someones) have been lying

did we ever figure out the ‘fintastic’ canoe situation? who was that far out on the lake?

I also believe its Mason due to the sudden amount of being stalked by him and maybe he knew about the critters long before anything and theres something much deeper here (Please have a wendigo please have 1!!!)

Right now I think it could be a confused dragon? Since Cirrus mentioned the wings and her tent is all decorated with fairy lights, and dragons like shiny things.

I also found this from Lunu suspicious "I know that some of the cryptids who live in the woods really didn't like it when the Glampgrounds were set up." But we just now discovered the cryptids according to everyone else, has Lunu always known?

They led me away, and kept prodding me to walk through the woods further and further. I tripped and stumbled a few times, but they kept pulling me along.

So that explains the strange footprints…
