Its just a thing to do for fun, it doesn't have any specific impact on the event or award anything. Similar to the minigame in the mess hall ^^

Hey can anyone explain to me what ID swaps are and why people look for pets with specific IDs? I understand what a pets ID number is, but not why people are chasing specific IDs
I’ve been on a hiatus and this event is the first time I’ve seen people be particular about IDs

Also @goldimp the bears are from the counsellor cabin for 3 fish tokens

ID swaps are to get pets adopted at certain times. This allows you to group your pets nicely, and in a specific order

I'm someone who cares about pet IDs! For me, I like it when my littermates are all together. For instance, all the bear adopts from tonight being next to each other instead of being mixed within the free dog adopts. If I need to trade to get missed outcomes, there is a possibility the pet will be mixed up with non-littermates. I mostly only care for events, since my monthly groups are organized by species so there's typically only one litter per month and no chance of getting mixed up.
