"It smells like the vet's office to me" Lucy replied, "what's your name little mouse, I'm Lucy" she mewed quietly before she tried to touch noses with the little creature

[Whistle.Concert]

"I'm Pepper!" She squeaked, twitching her little brown nose. "And what's the vet? I hears Chancey talk about it once..But she's still down below..So I can't ask her yet."

[Wild Mothman]

"Who's Chancey" Lucy asked, "And nice to meet you, Pepper, And the vet is a foul smelling place full of chemicals that burn in your nose and death,"

[Whistle.Concert]

"Chancey was the dog." Pepper said, wrinkling her nose up. "She always smelt bad, and her ears were fun to climb over.." she shook her little head. "The vet doesn't sound fun.."

"It wasn't, I've been there more than once. and often the vet's hands were cold" Lucy replied, "Ohh... must have been a nice dog to let you climb on her ears, Most of the dogs i've met have wanted to chase me."

[Whistle.Concert]

"Oh! I was always with the other pets!" Pepper squealed. "I'd swim in the fishtank..The dog let me climb all over her...The bird would steal my food, so I'd steal his. It was really, really fun!"

"Your family sounded nice, with mine it was just me, so i got all the attention" Lucy replied, purring slightly, "There were some other pets sometimes. A Preying Mantis and a couple of frogs"

[Whistle.Concert]

Pepper giggled, twitching her ears, and her rather long fur fluffed up as she laughed. "It would've been nice, getting all the attention.."

"yeah... my human, gave me loads of attention... i wish that van hadn't hit me" Lucy mewed, her head hung low. "I really don't want to be around that strange dark object, how about we go find someplace to grab something to eat?"

Pepper nodded. "..What's a van?" She asked. "...I went to sleep in my cage, with Coco..My friend...And then we both woke up here..she ran off, but I decided to stay around and watch what was going on below."
