THESE LINES ARE ALSO GOING TO BE POSTED ON MY DEVIANT ART SO BE SURE THAT YOU ARE LINKING BACK TO MY ACCOUNT IF YOU POST A PICTURE THERE, AND NOT TO THIS SITE. ACCOUNT IS: Horselova1872
I do expect all coloring posted on Deviant to be credited properly. The format is shown below:
Lines (c) Zax(CS), Horselova1872(DA)
Coloring (c) [Your User Here]I was bored again, and I was looking at old pictures in my portfolio. I pulled out a horrible attempt at drawing a galloping horse, so I have fixed my mistake and I feel much better now!
DO-Color expressively [No religion-types]
-Create your own accessories
-Use to color a character
-Use in shops[Only if you link it back]
-Use as adoptables[Link back]
-Use off CS[MUST LINK BACK]DON'T-Claim as your own
-Remove my signature
-Alter the original linesHow To Use Lock Alpha:What is it?Lock Alpha(LA) is a pretty amazing tool. If used properly, Lock Alpha can make a 10 minute coloring job turn into a 4 minutes coloring job. It takes the highlighted layer and will allow marks to only be mad eon that layer. How do I use it?Lock Alpha is very easy to use, but sometimes you can't figure it out without someone telling you.(I'm guilty of this)All you need is some eyes, a mouse (or tablet pen), and the ability to read basic English.Step 1:Click "Color Me" at the bottom of the picture on the thread page.Step 2:Find your Layer Pallete(place where all the accessories are) and click on what you want to color.
i.e.- Lock Alpha Coloring (Colors Body)Step 3:Once you have your desired layer highlighted, check the box at the top of the pallete that says "Lock Alpha"Step 4:Color away!!!How To Make Your Picture's Background Transparent:I know that some people like having their background transparent. This is a simple thing to do, actually. Most want their background gone because it only includes what was colored in the picture. This is also a good thing to do if you have an adoptable thread or if you like posting adapted Oekaki images in your signature.
NOTE: There's no point in going through these steps if you will not post your colored picture elsewhere.
There is only one way to go about doing this. Listen carefully and make sure you do EVERY step or it won't work!Step 1:Remove the background on your picture before saving it.Step 2:Once posted, right-click on your image and go down on the options to "Image Properties," "Properties," or "View Image Info." This is located near the bottom of the options that appear.Step 3:Once you are in the Properties[An extra window will pop up], right-click on the link that is highlighted automatically and click "Copy."Step 4:When you get the link, paste it in the IMG code bars()Step 5:This part can be tricky. When you get your code together, look near the end of the URL you just pasted. It should have "format=auto". Change "auto" to "png."---EXAMPLE---

- Code: Select all

What is PNG?PNG is just a type of image that reserves background transparency. That's all you need to know about coloring this editable!

I should do more. I plan on it actually. I just have to do a liscense list of everyone who has ever raced with SEMRA, the racing organization I own. That'll take me a while as there's over 400 people... But after that, I'll get some new art out there!
