(Just to say before hand, I don't know many Cryptids so this may just be something silly)

Maybe the floating collar is wrapped around something invisible? Not sure if there are even any creatures that can be/become invisible...

Edit:
Someone beat me to it haha

just the floating chickensmoothie watermark over a fully blank space the size of a dog. I'll take 20 of these theoretical pets immediately, thank you. xD

Has anyone else noticed either:
- the shadow in the deep part of the lake that looks like Nessie
Or
- the black little creature between the trees at the hiking trail area?
I can’t be the only one who’s noticed either of those.

Yeah, same! Jackalopes would be cool! I’d say that there’s probably a jackalope!

Pheww bare with me here - long post but I'm skimming the thread and correlating with green clues

Green 1
If you’re going to find some clues, you need to think outside of the box. You see other campers going off into the hiking trails, down to the ranger station, or even staying in camp. That’s not good enough! You gather a small group of Green Smoothie cabinmates for a brainstorming session. Eventually, someone says, “What’s the highest place we can reasonably get to see everything?” And the answer is obvious: You’re going to climb the fire watch tower.

Green 2
You take all necessary precautions. Several campers brought climbing gear from home, so you’ll have safety equipment while you’re on the roof. There is a ladder up to the tower itself, of course, but you don’t want to disturb Seraphine’s space. After getting some high protein snacks to aid you on your journey you head out into the forest. As you hike toward the tower you sing camp songs, and things seem to echo back to you strangely, as if there’s someone else in the woods who knows these songs.

Green 3
Your group makes it to the firewatch tower and climbs the outside ladder. You can’t help but peek into the windows and find that Seraphine’s small living space looks neat and orderly, just a few dishes on the drying rack next to the sink. There are some papers on the table that look like they could be maps along with a paintbrush and can of neon yellow paint. Not wanting to intrude when nothing inside looks suspicious, you use your gear to get up onto the roof. A few of your cabin mates stay down on the ground, where they talk to the Chocolate Cabin investigators and compare notes.

Green 4
You really can see everything from up here. The lake stretches on for some distance, and you didn’t know how truly vast it was. Far away there appears to be some kind of boat or craft in the water. One of your cabin mates pulls out their binoculars and tells you that they can see two figures on the boat, though there is too much glare from the water to tell much more. The boat has the word FINTASTIC painted on the side. As the sun reflects off the mostly still lake, you wonder if you can see a large shadow under its surface.

Green 5
As you look the other direction, out over the tops of the trees, you can see clearings and even some other buildings in the forest. However, what interests you most is a cave, far in the distance. You think that it might take all day to hike there. As dusk starts to fall the fairy lights in the Glampgrounds come alive, making it the only area you can really see in the forest. You think it might be time to go, but just before you leave another light appears, far away. There is a campfire in front of the cave.

.
.
.
Apple 2 clue:
"In one you see a tuft of orange fur under a trail sign painted on a tree. It looks like it’s made of three rectangles, but you’re not sure how to make heads or tails of it.”
Apple 3:
"You try to figure out what it might mean by yourself for a while, but eventually you admit defeat and work up your courage and approach Conall. You draw the symbol in the dirt in front of the fire pit, and Conall lets you know that it’s the sign that marks the beginning of a trail. Maybe you should go follow it? Conall also shows you the other signs a hiker would use to show the right path on the trail."
the yellow paint from clue green 3 - as mentioned in the thread before the 3 rectangles could mean trail markers
Oddity-Lad wrote:Ah! Seraphine has Orange fur which was found at the the tree with the marking signifying the beginning of the trail.

Since they had a map and bright yellow paint (perfect for trail markers) in their home it's safe to assume they're responsible and likely were marking out a trail for us to follow.

I don't think they're missing but instead want us to follow them.

Apple 4:
"You gather your gear and your buddy and head back out. It’s getting later in the afternoon now, but there’s still plenty of light to find the trail sign from your photo. The tuft of fur is still stuck to the bark, and you think it definitely looks like it belongs to Seraphine. You follow the trail sign directions into the forest, coming upon some that tell you to keep going straight, others left, and quite a few right. As darkness falls you turn on your flashlights, but the trail signs are thankfully in neon yellow paint and are still easy to pick out."

Chicken clue 3 and 4 mention how Mason thinks Seraphine didn't go on her own terms but with the map and the paint, I think this to not be the truth.

Berry 2 clue:
"You don’t see anyone fishing, anyway, so you’re probably safe. There are a few people in a canoe who you recognize from the Glampgrounds, and they seem to be heading out further into the lake with quite a bit of gear. You look past them, wondering exactly how far this lake actually goes. You don’t see the end."
Corresponds with Green 4 clue - seems like the Berry cabin is close to finding the monster in the lake, maybe they will give us clues

Chocolate 2 clue"
"The Green Cabin went up to the Firewatch Tower itself, and they said it looked normal. On the ground they found an old coil of rope that looked like it had been abandoned for a while and a rusty spoon. Overall, the area didn’t look disturbed and they saw lots of birds in the trees."
Green 3 clue -

Chocolate 3 & 4 mention purple string and a purple permanent marker correlates to creamsicle clue 3
I haven't connected back the bird and the string light
but the new chocolate clue makes Mason look sus. All that rope and string light being locked away. A rope was found at the base of the tower <.< but I still don't understand the rusty spoon or the purple collar in the background of the glamp grounds

Vanilla 4:
Conall is next on your list, and they’re wiping down the picnic tables and benches to remove any s’mores residue before the evening’s singalongs when you approach the fire pit. “Howdy campers!” They greet you with a big smile. Since your thoughts have turned to the Glampground, you ask them if they know Cirrus well, and Conall tells you a story about helping her learn how to start a fire when she first came out to spend the summer in the woods. They think that it seemed a little odd that someone who was so particular about her things and not getting bit by bugs would want to stay so long.
Green clue 5 - we see a campfire in front of a cave by the other clearing

side note - beryl said they were going to fly out maybe they're the bird taking the beads for the forest items xD but there is a lot of different mention of birds and even conall's campfire story from the other day of big birds points to mothman?

There are a lot of theories in the thread but it seems to me Seraphine left on her own terms and marked her trail. Cirrus seems to be with her because of the campfire and they both seem to be on a new map on the other side of the lake. Not sure who is in the boat if they both took a trail through the woods. (green clue 4) Wait a minute, berry clue 2 says it's the people from the glampgrounds in the canoe. What are they doing out there <.< The animals are distraught and moving in closer to camp because something in the woods is scaring them. There seems to be some irresponsible campers not cleaning up around.

Color coded the info post for hopefully easier navigation. I use dark mode, and the colors show up well on it. I don’t want to sacrifice accessibility, though. Are any of the colors hard to read on any of y’all’s forum setups?

Side note: it’s considered disrespectful to spell out, or really discuss the w*ndigo, as it is considered a closed-faith part of tribal tradition. I’m hoping that one of the cryptids is not that creature so that we can avoid that mess altogether. In the meantime, though, if we absolutely have to discuss it, please censor your use of the word.

I’m on mobile atm and it looks okay. Just a couple suggestions. Are you able to use a darker shade of orange? It might be harder for others to read. Also, maybe a thin border between each camp’s narrative?

Thank you for the feedback! Unsure if that worked, though, does it look better to you? I will add a divider when I get to my laptop.

I much prefer the newer orange over here, thank you so much for collecting these all together in an accessible format! <3
