Usually ten days with extra days for collecting tokens and spending them.
Keep an eye on the site news, it will soon tell us all when the last day for token trade-ins is!

I always have mine set to something else, and forgot about it until now. I don't see anything new, so I'm guessing not?

New pets are typically released every day for about 10 days, and then you'll have a few more days to collect tokens and finish trading them in.
