you can get them from the arts and crafts section of the event. once an hour, you can receive either a friendship bracelet item (used at the hiking trails and the ranger station), or one of the afformentioned pets.

It seems like there is limit of the total number of beads/tokens someone can find in event?
Because now at the bottom of the page displays message that says "You've now reached the limit of the number of prizes you can find : )."
I wonder if there will be any other new spots that require beads as an exchange ;v;

Yesz there's always a banner limit so that players with less time to play are able to catch up. It usually starts at 200 banners (which is the current limit) and is raised in intervals throughout the event, so you'll be able to get more banners once the limit is raised.

Why doesn't events like this start on first of the month? Lot of us have work/school/errands and are not able to check page every other day for announcement. We all know new pets are released on the first of the new month, why can't events also start on first of the month?

This event is a bit late from usual due to safety updates, but events like these have fixed dates they have been on for years. At the 1st update post on the news the staff also tells if there will be an event, so then it's easier to know to check back for for example mind month update. (Usually the note is like "we are working on for event x later this month" or similar)

hey are there any fish people on here who can identify what kind of fish the fish otters are? i could figure out the salmon one based on the salmon item matching it but the others im kind of lost on

It's it like super super rare to get a pet from the braclets or do I just have insanely bad luck?
I'm trying to figure out if I should just go trade for them because wowie this is pretty hard
