It's been rough lately with 2 projects due in 3 weeks, my thesis, and work getting crazy as the fiscal year is ending soon - so any reprieve is appreciated.

i do not speak the same language as a majority of the guys who work in the kitchen at my job so i barely get to talk with them. but today when i was calling a table, i must've said the number and letter backwards when i was rushing and they were joking about it for the rest of my shift. every time i called a table, they confirmed it with me but said it backwards like how i accidentally did that one time. i eventually started calling all of the table names backwards and every time i did, they all burst out laughing, which in turn made me smile. i liked that we all got to connect over that little moment since i rarely get to communicate with them otherwise :,)

I was asked to respond to a market research survey for the first time today. As someone who's looking to go into data analysis, it was really cool to be part of the experience. It really put a smile on my face. :)
