(Yay for utter gloriousness!! A donut sounds really good right now. It's too bad all the Krispy Kreme stores left my state. Dx
Good job, NotBob! I think I'll have Icestar stay alone, but I like that you're suggesting things. Yes, the Warriors of the Dawn is the prophecy cats. Unfortunately, they've already been chosen, but if people continue to not post you can have one. Of course, only if you want to...
By the way, I'm leaving again. D: I know, I was just gone, but this is how my summer is going to be. I'll be gone for a week and then I should be able to post again. For two days...)

Firekit sprang from the nursery, landing on a passing beetle. This time, she managed to keep from completely obliterating it. When she was smaller, she had always ended up smashing the poor bugs from lack of control. "Ebonyclaw!" she sang out. "Whatcha eatin'? A mouse?!" she answered herself. "I can't wait until I can catch my own mice. You know, I could be an apprentice today if," the ginger kit lowered her voice here."If Bloodstar would get back from his spur-of-the-moment expedition." Firekit giggled at her total secretness; she was sure no one but Ebonyclaw could hear her.

Rivertail padded alongside the lake, his eyes alert and focused, watching for the movement of prey. He, Honeydew, and Brokenclaw had been on patrol since early that morning, and so far they had been unsuccessful in their search for food. The blue tom dropped his head to sniff at a woven clump of reeds and frowned in disappointment. Any muskrats that had previously lived there had long fled their nest. Sighing, Rivertail swung around to face his disheartened companions. "Shall we try fishing?" he meowed. The other two cats were silent for a moment before Brokenclaw spoke. "There's a shallow part not far from here." Rivertail nodded, remembering the spot from his apprentice days. He led the group onward, hoping better luck awaited them in the water.

Lilystep stretched her legs and arched her back just outside the entrance to the warriors den. She had just woken up, and discovered that she was not the only one lounging in camp. Her friend Moonlily was sitting near the fresh-kill pile grooming her paws, and Lilystep's blue eyes spotted a few tails poking out from the brambles that ran through the center of camp. "Good morning," she meowed, padding forward to scoop up a small bird for breakfast. Moonlily smiled. "Yes, good morning." The speckled she-cat glanced up at the sun. "Though it is very late in the morning." Lilystep listened as she wolfed down her meal. "I suppose most of our clanmates are either already out on patrol or still sleeping," she mewed between bites. Moonlily giggled merrily, no doubt at the thought of the snoring that must still be happening inside the warrior's den. The white and gray she-cat licked up the last small bite and sighed with relief. She looked down at her friend who was still sitting. "We should do something," she said, her eyes sweeping around her as if in search for immediate amusement. "Yes." Moonlily stood and looked towards Lilystep. "I suppose we should check on the apprentices. I don't have one but..." You do. She left the words unspoken, but Lilystep easily picked up on her friend's meaning. She rolled her eyes with an exasperated sigh. "You want him? Jaggedpaw is nothing but a pain in the behind." Moonlily laughed and shook her head. "Let's go wake him up." The two padded around the barrier of brambles toward the apprentice den.
Earthpaw's eyes fluttered gently open only to be quickly closed again. His eyes were dry, and so was his mouth. The young cat heaved himself to his feet, blinking all the while. He stepped over the apprentices that were still in the den and began to head towards the small pool of water behind the medicine den. Surely Sunheart wouldn't mind if he took just a sip... Earthpaw ran straight into a solid wall of dark red fur. The apprentice looked up to find his mentor grinning down at him. "Oh," he yawned, "hey, Emberclaw."
RockClan
Cloudwhisker's ears pricked up, and his head swung around, his eyes searching out his apprentice. He smiled when he saw Snowpaw, inwardly laughing at the young cat's impatience. "Yes, Snowpaw?" he replied, padding toward his apprentice.
(In all my last-minute packing idiocy, I forgot to leave time to post for WotD and/or DarkClan. *face palm* Well, I guess I have to go now. I'll write while I'm away! Maybe willow will see me when I get off the first plane in Texas. x3 Bye!)
