Dang, how hard is the trash items to get? I've pulled a lot and only gotten fish tokens and otter-fish ;;

I've tried 3 times now and I've only gotten trash and fish items, but no otters

it makes me so happy to see how many of you like the pine martens, they're the first pets i've made in a long time and i had a lot of fun working on them!! pine martens are one of my favourite animals and this event seemed like the perfect opportunity to design some! :3c

the first two are based on colour variations of the european pine marten, whilst the last one was inspired both by the japanese sable and lighter colour variations of the american pine marten!

Ahh they're pine martens, how lovely!! I was on the fence about whether I wanted to hoard them (specifically because token pet hoards can be a little tricky), but now I need to, as a 'His Dark Materials' one <3

Had anyone noticed the pet rock is near impossible to obtain?

Well, it did just get released tonight, and in an area we can only collect from once an hour. It's only natural it'd be hard to come across right now. I'm sure they will be easier to trade for soon enough, just takes some patience. ^^

No, no trick unfortunately. Just luck of the draw.

I'm also a bit frustrated at the items and pets being mixed in the same trade-in. I don't use items at all, and as was said getting tokens is a grind, it's not that fun to sink tokens in the trade-in to only get items I'll never use and I'll probably won't be able to trade for pets 😔
