This pet/item mix feels really wrong to me. I don't want items, I never have - that should be my decision. Events are the only way I can make c$ because I live below the poverty line, and I only want to spend tokens on pets. Not items. I feel it's wrong CS has taken that choice away from us.

EDIT: The free ones (like Beryl's adopt) I can understand, but making us spend tokens for items when we don't want items is a bit wrong.

there are plenty of other token boxes you can adopt from if you'd like guaranteed pets. you are not forced to play the fishing game.

i think they meant more that they won't be able to get specifically the otters as easily due to the way the game is set up. i'm sure they know they're not being forced to play the minigame ^^ but there isn't really another way to get the otters except trading for them, and they're looking to trade the otters away, it sounds like, so that wouldn't make sense to do. and it seems to me like the most recent pets would probably be the ones that are the best to make c$ off of, so i can understand their frustration! although, i have seen people saying that the fish are going to be future tokens, so don't lose hope OP! with any luck, you'll be able to turn those fish into future pets and then c$ :]

Oh boy, tonight certainly is hectic isn't it? There's so many new things I'm starting to feel overwhelmed. I'm just going to hang back and collect tokens for now, and wait to trade until the new stuff gets added to the archive. I really love the new pet rock though, it's so precious and I really hope I get at least one. ;u;
