2023 Summer Event: Casual Chat

I think today is the day I give up trying to keep all the pets in order lol

I'm worried that if the fish are tokens I won't have any left at the end of the event ( • ᴖ • ｡) They're a little silly and weird and I think they're cuter than the otters.

No bad points, and maybe they’ll be useful later on, but right now I’m interested in lining up the pets the way I want to, which is not something that matters with items. If they’re useful later, sure, great, I’ll fish for them, but since they’re not of use at the moment, well, the pets that are available now concern me more.

pets not lining up the way you want is absolutely a valid perspective that i didn't think of, and i can definitely see where you're coming from. i used to be the same way, but i had to give up on that when i started college and didn't have time to hunt for ID swaps ;-; i hate how disorganized my event groups look these days lol. so yeah, i feel you.

i guess i see it more as a side effect of CS not letting us sort our pets rather than a problem inherent to the fishing game. i also have unrealistic dreams of us getting an update that will let us manually sort pets one day, though. to have nice-looking pet groups without having to suffer through ID swapping... that would be the dream lol

omg i'm so sorry i didn't mean to cause a panic!! there are no banner items yet and it doesn't happen every year. i'm just still emotionally recovering from summer 2020 haha

This pet/item mix feels really wrong to me. I don't want items, I never have - that should be my decision. Events are the only way I can make c$ because I live below the poverty line, and I only want to spend tokens on pets. Not items. I feel it's wrong CS has taken that choice away from us.

EDIT: The free ones (like Beryl's adopt) I can understand, but making us spend tokens for items when we don't want items is a bit wrong.

The fish are tokens? I have to give up my fish? I didn't want to give up my friendship bracelet. lol Off to get another one, so the bunny will give me a mule. That's actually a very decent trade. Can't do that in real life.

when u get a snake on ur second bracelet pull but its the one u already paid 50c$ for x3 haha! dont mind much im sure someone will swap with me eventually! just find it kinda funny
