mossclan lived in harmony with their neighbouring clan, helping one another with any threats that were
made known throughout their territories. the two clans thrived; they were strong, robust. that is, until t
wolegs invaded the forest. they stormed in by foot and riding in or on huge monsters, tearing down every
thing in their path. mossclan's neighbour, acornclan, almost entirely perished, falling victim to the dread
ed twolegs who thought they owned everything they set their eyes on.

mossclan also suffered heavy losses; including the great tree, containing their leader's [lavenderstar] den.
the tree that had been protecting their camp for generations. after the fall and after many great warriors'
deaths, mossclan fled further into the forest to find refuge, taking those of acornclan who remained with
them.

it took a few moons for the struggling clan to rebuild any of what they had and put down roots; they had
n't even appointed a new leader until recent days. now, mossclan must continue to build up their new ca
mp and scope out their new territory. while they may be low in numbers, their spirits have not been deci
mated just yet. having lost their leader, deputy and medicine cat all in one day, the clan is sombre. but t
hey cannot give up. they won't. they will learn to adapt, as their ancestors did before them.

foxfoot is a tall and slender, yet fluffy, ginger and white cat with bright amber eyes.
she has many small scars scattered around her skin, and in some places her fur is pa
tchy due to this.

foxfoot used to be a social butterfly; she loved playing with the kits and apprentices
and her favourite activity would be mentoring her beloved apprentice, who sadly pa
ssed away during the fall. now, the molly is quiet, sombre. she still loves to be arou
nd her clanmates, but will rarely speak unless spoken to or by order of [prefix]star.

foxfoot enjoys scouting and hunting, preferably alone but it's never really her choice. she likes to go into the medicine cat
den to talk and help out where she may be needed; she did so when the fall happened and mossclan merged with the rema
ining members of acornclan.

foxfoot's son, adderpaw, is the only survivor of her and lavenderstar's three-kit litter. he has been difficult, but nothing the

was named after their mother's favourite bird, a magpie. the best imaginary friend there was for a molly.
strangely enough, magpiewalker is good with walking amongst birds and... talking to them. maybe that's what [leader] named him after.





magpiepaw is a tall, lanky grey siamese with curly fur and pointed ears. their fur is usually messy and unkempt. she is known to have striking blue eyes.





magpiepaw is very loud and proud, and tends to boast and lie about things that don't exist. their mind is creative, bundles of stories begging and threatening to spill out to the other apprentices. and yet, they can be the most humble cat ever. nobody knows how this little... big cat works, but they sure are a piece of work and adventure. maybe you should let them give you a story!

magpiepaw is very artistic. often walking into the medicine den you will know if it was his turn to sort out the herbs. they're often colour coded and all tied up. he 'dresses to impress', you may say, and is very flirty with others. a charming little guy, you might say. a charming little guy without boundaries, you might say.

named herself after her only parent died, thus being fawnflame. adopted her as she was a kit to one of his outside flings. she believes the prefix 'grave' does not mean agony, but instead a feeling of hope. she hopes to do him proud.
the suffix 'fawn' comes from her father. she is labelled such due to her striking resemblance to him. albeit lacking his skills, it was no doubt she was his kit.





gravepaw is a small ginger-with-white cat with brown-and-green heterochromia. she has a scar under her belly that is not deep, however it is long and visible if she sits in a certain position. her fur is generally short and wellkept.





gravepaw is soft-spoken, if spoken at all. she's quick to swipe away her trust from any cat under any given circumstance, but she is quick to give it if she deems the cat she's presenting it to fit. she's generally very friendly despite her demeanour, and prays she can be an asset to the clan, if not the best one. she is aware this is an unrealistic dream, and decides to go at her own pace when required.

what she lacks for in skill she makes up for in smarts. gravepaw knows techniques like the back of her paw, but struggles to present them and use them to her advantage. because of this, she is a bit behind the other apprentices, even if they are younger than her, but she doesn't seem to mind too much. she puts it above mossclan to bully her for things she might not be too great at.

was named after the season he was born in, march.
his suffix comes from the fact he was very clumsy as an apprentice, often falling from high places.





marchfall is a stubby, long-furred jet black tom with yellow-green eyes and a limp in his hind left leg. his tail appears stubby. nobody really knows why.





marchfall is a very boastful and loud tom, very confident despite all and any mistakes he's made- they don't stop him at all! he embraces these flaws and doesn't let them stop him. however, he is very short-tempered. this is because of his injury. he wishes he wasn't slow and wishes he could keep up with his clanmates, but ultimately fails to, still to this day. he refuses to give up though, and is a major hypeman! he got this personality from his two mothers who raised him a twoleg nest.

shadowcreep is very much a "tough love" type medicine cat; he
loves what he does and is completely content in his job, but he
is not going to sugar-coat things or baby those in his den. if a cat
comes to him with an injury from making a poor decision, he is going
to tell you how stupid you were, scolding your idiocy as he treats you.
he is a very aware of everything going on around him, specifically the
situation at hand & how others are reacting to it. he's known for being
very resourceful, not following the common path, but instead the more
interesting path w/ a higher possibility of flourishing. he is definitely
both passionate & assertive; he had strong opinions about things, and
changing his mind is near impossible to do. he is determined & decisive
in everything that he does; every move he makes or word he says has a
purpose.

shadowcreep was born as the only kit in his parents first litter as young
warriors who were very much in love. he was very loved by his parents,
but he didn't take that affection to the extreme like some cats would have;
he could have become a spoiled brat, but that just wasn't him. he showed
interest in acornclan's medicine cat position from a very young age, being
the type who would sneak out of the nursery when his mother would be asleep,
always to be found in the medicine cat's den, his face buried within piles of
herbs. the elderly tom who held that position, flameburst, had been waiting
for someone to show interest in his rank, and gladly took little shadowpaw on
as his apprentice. the moons went by as he trained and became a medicine
cat of his own, with his mentor passing away from a mild case of greencough
just a few moons before his adopted sister smokekit was found. at first he
appeared very disengaged from her presence, but the little molly attached
herself to him in an adorable way that he couldn't deny. he would do anything
for his sister; she is his soft-spot, his weakness, the only cat who sees a certain
side of him that he hides from all others.

smokepaw is the type of molly who has had to mature quite rapidly
for her age, with her youthful side really only coming out when she
is alone with her older brother; part of it has to do with trust, and
the other part being due to her past traumas. she has excellent
control of her temper, with quick-thinking abilities that allow her to
respond within moments to a situation when it occurs. she can run
through countless outcomes/strategies in her head, & when she
makes up her mind, she is completely sure that her decision is the
correct one.

when it comes to her training, she has shown immediate skill when it
comes to hunting over fighting, likely due to her lithe body. she may
not be the most muscular cat, but she is a good runner who can reach
high speeds quickly; she is agile, & excels at jumping & sneaking. she
is a patient huntress, able to lie in wait for her prey for hours if need
be, awaiting the perfect moment to strike. & when she does strike,
she's as rapid as a cobra, & very rarely does she miss or it get away.

when smokekit was only 2 moons old, an acornclan patrol found
the still form of her mother near the edge of their territory, clearly
having been killed by two-legs hunting dogs. smokekit had thankfully
been able to recognize the patrol as other cats, and allowed herself
to cry out as loud as she could from the hiding spot where her mother
had placed her before the dogs were upon them. smokekit had been
brought back to acornclan as an orphan, and was given to a grieving
queen named icefur who had just given birth to a litter of stillborn kits.
icefur and her mate mistmind were both senior warriors at the time,
who had known that it was a risk to try for kits again so late in life,
and so they thanked starclan for bringing them little smokekit. the
pair had a single son from a previous litter, shadowcreep, who was the
clan's new medicine cat. shadowcreep had been content to be an only
child, or so he claimed, but smokekit attached herself to her new "big
brother" almost immediately, and quickly became shadowcreep's
"weakness". shadowcreep was the only reason that smokepaw survived
the destruction of acornclan, nearly losing his life by deciding to go back
for his baby sister; neither of their parents made it.

finchcry is incredibly loyal to her clan, mostly because she is so thankful to them
for taking her in, teaching her the ways of a warrior, and essentially saving her life.
she is the type of cat that even if she disagrees with what she is told to do by her
leadership, she won’t outright disrespect anyone or question their decisions. she is
a highly intelligent cat though, & so she has no problem seeking out the company of
the cat who she disagrees with to sit down & discuss things so that she can better
understand. she is not the type to tell someone they are wrong or argue just because
they have a different belief from her; she enjoys having intellectual conversations w/
others to expand her horizons, & hopefully broaden their minds as well.

finchcry was born to a couple of kittypets who had fallen in love, and whose two-legs
had decided to let them have one litter of kittens to grow their family before having
her parents spayed/neutered. finchcry was the only girl, the third born with two brothers,
and as such her parents, and the two-legs, seemed to adore her. technically, only the female
two-leg was a "cat person", but her partner put up with the five cats out of respect and love
for his mate. unfortunately, just a few moons before she turned 10 moons of age, her
two-leg grew incredibly sick and passed away. her two-legs partner kept her parents,
found alternative homes for her brothers, but had some resentment for her. she had been
the late two-leg's favorite of the cats, and for some reason, the male two-leg couldn't
get over his anger whenever he looked at her, so he abandoned her in the house when he
moved out. thankfully, she managed to escape through a window that had been left
cracked open, and after being on her own for a few moons, came across mossclan when she
was around 15 moons old. she was renamed finchcry due to her melodic voice, known
for its frequent chattering with others.
