He watched the situation around the elder's den, there were too many wolves there so he didn't even bother to get there and he was not that close to Kikui. He lived in the same pack with him and talked with him sometimes, but mostly they did their own things, so his dead was not as heartbreaking to him as it could be if they were a little bit closer.

He watched the camp there for a moment, unsure if he could inform Dante or Destiny that they had the prey there, but in this situation, they probably did see the buck in their own eyes too. He didn't know if the pack wanted to do the vigil of the Kikui first or eat first, he didn't really know, but he didn't have hungry so he left the elk there near the entrance and walked to the hunter's den.

Good luck with that one...I think Kikui understand, but do you understand that those hares don't arrive just because you ask them to..." she said to him. She growled with annoyance "No you stop right there, you sit there still, or I will make sure that Dante or Destiny herself took you away from your role as a lead hunter to the next month..." she said seriously "Could that sound fun to you Mr. stress Cryer? a one day or a month...well it's up to you?" hm?" she said to him.

She was already ten months old so it could be the right time for her to practice before she will join the other ranks. He got to the somewhat empty den, he saw only Chi sleeping at her nest there. He laid down on his nest and took a good position, before closing his eyes. He still heard the conversation between his younger brother and Kane outside of the den. He heard depression in Labrador's voice, he did feel a little uncomfortable and lonely when he watched the pack eating the buck. All of them had someone to talk to, he had nobody, and maybe Labrador felt the same way.

He sighed "I don't really know if that's what could make me happy or not, but always when I see all those couples around or wolves being close to each other made me feel lonely," he said to the other hunter. He looked at the ground for a moment "thought now then I think about it I don't think I am the only one here...and I am not really sure about myself either, what do I want..." he muttered out of his breath. He shook his head a little bit "I sometimes want to see the world, meet other wolves other packs, maybe not packs as they could be dangerous...but I don't want to leave this pack either..." he kept muttering "Sorry to bother you with my worries...sorry to be so anxious" he said to him with a faint smile.

He looked over to the Maison and then the pup, flicking his ears rather confused yet surprised about the pup's words "You want to leave, why?" he asked the pup suddenly "What do you seek in Starlight pack what we don't have here?" he questioned the female pup.

She gave the male a smile watching as he walked to where Milo and River were talking, but she was not sure he could have the response he could want as in her eyes, it seemed that Milo and River liked each other already. She flicked her tail as she left the prey and took the longest path back to camp, she didn't really have anything in plans for now, so why not just took her time to walk and enjoy the forest?

Louie told Cleo that they have had a death of an elder in the pack. Her ears drop, Cleo knows how much that could impact everyone, and she is certainly no stranger to death. Louie let her know that there is going to be a vigil for the elder, so she decided to pay her respects and go.
When they arrived to the common grounds, she instantly notice the pack of wolves surrounding one particular den. Louie said he was going to watch the border and left. Cleo snaked her way through the crowd as she was a smaller wolf, and situated herself in a spot where she can analyze everything around her, as she waited for it to start.

They sighed as they looked down at the pup. They tilted their head as they regarded her a moment, looking to the others then back to her. They rolled their eyes as they saw Shy Fawn get caught...They shook their head, and looked at Daisy. "Don't go near that wolf...the one Liberty is dealing with. He came back, but I don't really trust him right now. Now...why would you go to our rival pack?" he asked her. "You don't have any family or friends there...and aren't some of us your friends?" they asked.

They looked to Hyuuga and the pup again. They waited alongside him, for her to give some sort of answer.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked at them both. The white foot black phase she wolf looked into the other's honey colored eyes. She then shook her head a couple times. She resisted the urge to look towards Blaze again. She let out a small sighing breath, and shook her head again. She twitched as she heard the other speak. She nodded to her, saying "I guess worrying doesn't help...Worrying is natural though," she said, more thinking of mothers worrying over pups. She then let her eyes wander a moment. She nearly jumped as she saw the alpha sitting there...She didn't bring up the fact he was there, though. Might ruin the moment, might distract Eros from his race with Nova.

She noticed how the beta followed her line of sight to Eros. She'd turned her attention back to the pup, so now Nova was looking there too. She tilted her head as she noticed the other noticing where Gauge looked. Shaking her head again, she smiled a canine smile. She also noticed the other had her head tilted. She yipped a little laughing like sound. She then saw the other seemed to want to ask something. Maybe she didn't have a question, maybe a statement instead. Gauge didn't know, though, since the other didn't voice it. Whatever she may have wanted to say or ask, she didn't do so. Gauge sighed at this fact. However, she didn't question her on it, didn't make the beta speak, as she didn't want to push her.

She nodded to the beta, saying "Yes...ill be like the referee, then." She didn't know if wolves should use the same words humans did...Shaking her head, she pushed that thought aside. It was the best word she could come up with, for it. She watched the pup with his full belly. She hoped he'd digested his food at least even a little bit. It wouldn't be good if he ended up sick or in pain...Not only would he possibly blame them, though she wasn't sure, but Liberty would likely get mad at them.

She shook her head with another laugh like sound as Eros spoke. "No, no Eros, I'm not racing with you; I'm watching to see which of you wins," she said. That meant she might need to run alongside them, though. She wasn't going to run right beside them, if so. She smiled a canine smile as she nosed and nudged at him a bit. She then watched him bound to Nova. As she saw they were ready, she said "On your marks, get set...go!" She then waited for the adult and pup to start running their race.

The reddish looking male twitched darker reddish or brown ears. The darker or brown tipped tail flicked from time to time. Lighter brownish looking eyes looked to Milo and River. He sighed, taking a couple deep breaths then stepping forward again. Once he was feet away, he stopped. He didn't want to upset or overwhelm Milo, though Akiro was just one wolf. Therefore, he called out from where he was. In a soft (gentle) voice, he called "Hello," to the other two wolves.

The smaller and slender white marked black phase wolf sighed as the she wolf headed off...The golden eyed one saw she could do it herself, then. He shook his head a couple times. He glanced to the others, watching as they moved the prey. They didn't really seem to need his help either...He sighed again, and headed to the camp as well. He found Dante with Destiny, and made a sound of worry. They both seemed...off, sad or something, so he walked over and asked "What's...what's going on?"

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup nodded. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked to Kiyu as she continued to speak to them. He nodded to her, as she said she didn't think the future sounded fun. "Well...if I can't see Eros ever again, then yeah. I'd have to agree with you then," he said to her. He wasn't thinking about the fact adults had to work...He'd seen them stop to have fun from time to time, so he didn't even think on it. He then tilted his head as he looked at her. She seemed to be possibly thinking on something. She then said words about the wrath of Scythe. He nodded and said "Oh, yeah...she can be scary... sorry if you had to see that." It didn't seem like she had, if her dad had kept her from it. Maybe she'd heard the adult wolf, though.

He nodded to the older she pups again. "Moveless....hunter? What's that?" he asked, as he was younger than them so he didn't know. Kuroi and Yomi probably knew a lot more than him by now. He flicked his tail a couple times as he looked at them. He then sniffed the air a bit. He shook his head a couple times, and sighed as his belly rumbled a bit. Of course, of course he was hungry now...He said "Be right back," and quickly ran out to the prey pile, grabbing a bigger bird. He ran back in and gulped it down. He probably shouldn't have eaten so fast...but he felt fine for now. He then said "We could do tag, or practice some moves. Um...maybe you can show us moveless hunter, Yomi."

Kane looked out toward the rest of the pack as he listened to Labrador. He can see wolves sitting together, eating together and chatting together. He can see how one would get lonely. He actually felt lonely himself as he thought about it.
He looked back over to Labrador as he apologised, giving him a sweet smile,
“It’s alright Lab. You really did need to get that off your chest” he responded softly,

Kane tucked his tail over his paws again.
“There may be a time where you could explore. I cannot be certain but the Alpha may want to expand territory. It’s gonna be a lot of maybes.” He told him.
He looked down at his paws,
“You’re a brave wolf, Lab. It takes a lot of courage to talk about your feelings to someone.” He spoke softly,
“And I am happy to be here for you if you need to talk again” he added, looking up to meet his eyes again.

A fluff of creamy eggshell white fur lowered to the ground nearly submerging her front half onto the cold and unwelcoming snow blanket. Her rump was still in the air as her body formed into a bow. A plush white tail waved from side to side as she waited for the words to go from Gauge.

A quick glimpse of the Alpha crossed her peripheral line of sight. Despite the pair having a disagreement earlier and him speaking some unsettling words , Nova did not react to the site of Liberty. With that said, she was still expecting to have their meeting with the pack about the peace treaty. Truth be told - Nova still wanted to attempt to convince the Alpha not to say anything until he speaks with Destiny again. This time she would have to be more aggressive than before. The idea of her being replaced had run into her thought train once again. Would he really replace her with another wolf that easily? From what she’d seen over the last few weeks - definitely did not make her feel uneasy. Nova felt pure blissful confidence at the fact of Liberty not being able to replace her with someone better than her. If he did replace her, he was simply looking for someone to just obey or agree with everything that he said. She immediately shifted her focus back to the race at paw when she heard the words to go after waiting for what felt like forever.

The wolf steadied her breathing , fixating her focus to the imaginary track that they were about to run. It was a very short race, but non the less with obstacles like the trees. A low yet playful growl escaped the Beta’s maw. The race had begun and without hesitation or thinking, the Beta made a run for the trees - kicking the unsettled snow into the air. “Keep up , Eros!” she barked at the young wolf.

She kept a steady pace for herself , to prevent her from full fatigueness. Even so, her being a canine, her tongue rolled out helping her pant to keep herself cool. Tail in full swing as she dodge the trees like a show dog in an agility competition. Nova skid herself to a slow pace to offer Eros the opportunity to still beat her, maybe. As soon as he’d come bolting around , she’d pick up the pace behind him and swing herself to the lead for her victory stunt.

Ears perked to the sky - listening to every word that came from River. To him , she seemed hesitant to go towards the water. Milo tilted his head in curiosity as to why she said they’d head that way and not actually go to it. “Are you….” he started to ask her. In the back of his mind , the wolf reminded himself that he’d only known River for a few hours. Everything wasn’t meant to be found on the first evening. He decided to let it go and ask her another time. “We can go another day.” he spoke softly, hopefully easing her worries of going towards the water.

“T-That’s if y-you’re up to it. I .. I.. Um, I don’t want you to feel forced.” his voice still soft , his words fumbling over one another. He found himself briefly annoyed with his own words. Milo hates when he stutters in front of anyone , no matter the gender nor rank. It often left him feeling quite embarrassed that he could not get his own words together. He’d expect this kind of thing from a pup, not an adult.

The conversation quickly changed to discussing the events that occurred prior to his arrival. Something he had missed in his scouting days , prior to joining, was Shyfawn’s determination to stir the pot amongst the pack. River called him a traitor and at the same time , his gaze met River. “If he is a traitor then why is he here again? “ curiosity had struck again. From his short experience with packs - a traitor is banished to the outskirts to fend for themselves. A traitor could not be trusted by the pack , which was the main reason that they were removed from the pack’s grounds.

Unfortunately for Milo - he may not be able to get his answer from River about ShyFawn. Another wolf was approaching , this one had mid cerise fur all throughout his body, with Honey brown eyes. If he remembered correctly from River’s naming roster , this wolf is Akiro.

A meek hello came from the wolf , Milo contemplated for a second or two on replying to him before River greeted him. “H-Hello.” his stutter announced itself once again. It wasn’t that Milo was shy - this was just his first experience with other friends wolves in a pack. “You must be Akiro - I… I am M-Milo” he introduced himself to the new wolf in front of him. He looked over to River for the assurance that it was safe to really talk to Akiro. Surely, if it wasn’t she would react the same way as she did when discussing ShyFawn.

Kiyu continued to be silent and looked between the other three pups. They flopped back and forth between a few topics before deciding to just be pups and play. She laughed when they talked about playing in the den. While none of the dens were too small - it also was not big enough for them to play in the den.

“We could play hide and seek right outside the den.” She recommended the group. Hopefully , Scythe did not rip the pups a new one for being outside the den and playing with the others. Kiyu moved outside of the den and waited at the edge for them to decide on what they were going to do. “It’s not like you guys are out of view from the adults.” she added . It did make sense in her pup mind that they were playing somewhere in the pack’s territory and that the parents would be able to see them. Kiyu hoped that Scythe would understand that they just wanted to play and could not do so in the den. Even better - Kiyu could reel Louie in to watch them while they played so Scythe wouldn’t get upset.

The large gray wolf stood on all fours to shake his fur free moistness. He hated the feeling of a wet belly as much as any wolf would. It was an uncomfortable feeling to have the warmth of his body slowly defeated by the cold white blanket beneath them. He moved further away from the tranquil river, the sound allowing a soothing environment for the both of them. Too bad they could not make dens over here, to Louie , this was prime real estate. To have the pack a little further away, water at will, a bath at will, space, and most importantly -peace-.

His ears swiveled in her direction, as she asked him a question about where he was going. He was still waiting for Dante to call him to clean up the remains. Louie hoped that it would not be the she wolf’s first rodeo in clean up duty. “I am waiting for Dante to tell me what to do with Kikui.” he paused. The ending of his words sounded so harsh on the outside, ‘ what to do with Kikui’ like the elder wasn’t one of them. Louie cleared his throat hoping that she did not take it offensively. “Unfortunately, Kikui has passed away from old age - there is a vigil being held for him. Come with me.” he offered her. Dark brown eyes moved from the she wolf to the pathway that he had come from. His paw prints still fresh into the snow’s brief memory. Louie began to pad away from Cleo and head towards the rest of the pack.

The sound of snow crunching ringing in his ears as they traveled. When he made it towards the common grounds area, he looked to his right to see wolves gathering over the elder’s den. He was not one for vigils or death events. Louie preferred to bury the lost ones and move on. Something he’d taught himself , as a way to cope with unfortunate life events upon the demise of Mira and his pups. He kept moving his ears , keeping an ear out for Cleo whilst they walked together. “If you want, the vigil is over there.” his snoot motioned towards the gaggle of wolves piling up as they came to say their goodbyes. He wanted no parts of the mourning fiesta. “I’m going to check in with Dante. I’ve had my fill of death for a lifetime.” he mentioned. He was about to head straight to Dante , until he saw another group of wolves near him and Destiny. Maybe he should hold off a moment, he figured that Dante would howl for him when he was ready. There was probably a lot to tend to between the hunt and the death. “On second thought” the sound of his voice carried with the wind just as fast as his thoughts traveling. “I’ll take a hike until they’re all situated - someone needs to watch the border,” he shared. With everyone being here on the common grounds, that left them defenseless of their rivals. Louie quickly started to walk again, towards the border to patrol while the rest did what needed to be done.

Athena gave the healer her space in order to take care of Cypher. Even though she was confident in their healer, the lack of empathy from Scythe was astonishingly disappointing to Athena. She thought that someone in medicine would not be so harsh with words when dealing with their patients. Assumingly, she figured that Cypher would be in shock and panic at the idea of being alright after an injury. The healer’s words felt quick with no empathy. Her focus shifted back on Cypher as the pair went back and forth in a brief conversation.

The healer had practically shoved Athena out of the den and told her to take something to the elder’s den since she could not do two things at once. “I’m not helping someone with an attitude like that.” she retorted , her voice now serious with a full punch of bluntness. The hunter’s tail flickered with irritation as she rose from the ground beneath them. None the less - Cypher would be fine once he healed properly. At least if he gives himself the chance to. Athena turned away from the duo and proceeded to pad away from the healer’s den. Instead, she decided to wait until the commotion was over from Kikui’s vigil.

Of course the pack was going to hold a vigil for the elder wolf, who she knew so little about. In her time here, she had only encountered the elder a pawful of times. He would tell stories to the pups to keep them motivated for their future to come. Nothing too striking there as that was something most elders did in their free time. She took a glance over to where Kikui’s final resting place was, seeing the abundance of wolves saying their goodbyes to him as they went along. Athena lowered her ears , while she and Kikui weren’t close , it was unfortunate that they’d lost a pack member.

Without haste, the wolf walked back to her own private den. It was placed just behind a tree that led to a pathway to the woods. A jet black figure made its way through the den area, thinking to herself about the recent events. Maybe that’s what set her off about Scythe - there was a sudden avalanche of issues arriving in the pack. She gave it a very brief thought before chalking it up to the fact that there is a lot going on at the moment. Between the elder’s death, Cypher’s injury , her missing majority of the hunt, the border issue from earlier. Athena could only imagine what was going through Destiny’s mind while all of this was happening.

She looked at Kuroi "Let's show them Kuroi" she said to her adoptive sister and waited for her to go to her position at the deeper side of the den "The game is easy, one Kurói there, sits its back on us, and look the wall...when we others go to the other side of the den and sneak silently as possible to her way..." she said as she did so "but doing only this is boring, so there is twist every time suddenly the Kuroi the guard look behind them and at that very moment you need to stay still as long they are watching" she stayed still when Kuroi looked behind her, turning her gaze back to the wall "now when she is looking away you can keep walking...and if the guard see you moving you need to start the game over and the one who goes all the way to the guard and touch it, is the winner and will become the next guard" she explained to them.

He looked elsewhere when the other spoke, he even himself didn't really get what got into him just now, usually, he could not speak up about his thoughts to others, but maybe something about Kane made him speak up. Maybe because somehow he felt the same loneliness from him as he was feeling right now. He looked at him for a moment "I don't think he could want to expand more territories as we're neighbored by those Starlight wolves and if they see somehow that we have more lands they may try to expand their lands too...to steal some of us" he said to him. He looked at the pack eating the prey there or most of them were till there as some of them had already left it to go back to camp or whatever "I think I am eaten enough, if there is nothing else to do I will go back to the camp..." he said to Maison as the healer was with him still.

She gave the male a smile watching as he walked to where Milo and River were talking, but she was not sure he could have the response he could want as in her eyes, it seemed that Milo and River liked each other already. She flicked her tail as she left the prey and took the longest path back to camp, she didn't really have anything in plans for now, so why not just took her time to walk and enjoy the forest?

“Oh yeah..completely forgot about the Starlight wolves…but still something could happen. There is always a chance” he said softly. As soon as Labrador looked into his eyes, Kane froze.
Hearing the fellow hunter call him nice and thanked him for listening made Kane’s heartbeat quicken. He felt the heat on his cheeks as he blushed.

“Y-you’re welcome…you’re very sweet” he managed to speak out softly as he almost got lost looking in the white hunters eyes.
He quickly cleared his throat and shuffled slightly to get more comfortable, looking back down towards his paws.
“Does Castor know about this? And how you feel?” He asked after a moment of silence.
Kane knew Castor much more than Labrador, since he lead the Hunters. He was able to talk to him a little bit in the past but he was quite similar to Labrador in the talking side of things, not much is really said. Well, until now…Kane knows how Labrador feels.

Cypher listened to Scythe's words, mulling them over before sighing himself, laying his head on his paws, away from the injured one. He winced before speaking. "I... I suppose so..." He mumbled, before his ears flicked as the healer spoke once more. "Yes they are rare, however in a burrow as large as the one we saw back in the meadow, there should be at least one. Perhaps I can advise them?" He rose to all fours, well, threes, since he was favoring his injured paw. Just as he went to leave, Scythe spoke up, making him freeze. Would Scythe really have him demoted for a month because of an injury? He wasn't sure, but definitely didn't want to risk a negative run in with Dante or Destiny. He laid back down, just as Scythe spoke again. "Sheesh, I'm staying! One day is enough. I'll see to it that either Athena or Kuroyuki pass on the message... Without leaving." He emphasized the last part. He definitely didn't want to be on Scythe's bad side. He caught the serious tone in the healers words, which made him uncomfortable to say the least. He sighed, watching the events unfold beyond his reach.

They sighed as they looked down at the pup. They watched her wander off, and shook their head a couple times. They didn't understand why she'd become like this, since she still had the rest of the pack...They shook their head again. They then looked to Hyuuga. "I, um...ill go with you," they said to him. Maybe he didn't want them to, though...Maybe he wanted to be alone now. They shook their head a couple times, and silently scolded their self for that.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked at them both. The white foot black phase she wolf shook her head with another laugh like sound as Eros spoke. "No, no Eros, I'm not racing with you; I'm watching to see which of you wins," she said. That meant she might need to run alongside them, though. She wasn't going to run right beside them, if so. She smiled a canine smile as she nosed and nudged at him a bit. She then watched him bound to Nova.

She smiled a canine smile as she watched Nova crouch, then the beta was off and running. She watched as Nova raced the much smaller pup. He was doing well enough, but was still behind her. She found herself silently cheering for Eros. She barked a laugh as she heard Nova call to Eros to keep up. She shook her head a couple times. She then watched as Nova skidded to a slower pace. She wondered if Nova would let him win, or would take the victory herself.

The reddish looking male twitched darker reddish or brown ears. The darker or brown tipped tail flicked from time to time. Lighter brownish looking eyes watched the two, and he tilted his head. He noticed the other stuttered a bit. He could tell the other wasn't shy, he just got the feeling. He himself actually was a shy one, though, so he stuttered "Th-that's me, yeah." He then glanced to River for a small moment. He smiled a canine smile at her, then looked to Milo once more. He wondered what they'd been talking about. He could guess maybe it was Shy Fawn... Every-wolf seemed to be focused on the traitor, now. They all, like him, must be wondering why a traitor had been allowed back in.

He glanced to the others, watching as they moved the prey. They didn't really seem to need his help either...He sighed again, and headed to the camp as well. He found Dante with Destiny, and made a sound of worry. They both seemed...off, sad or something, so he walked over and asked "What's...what's going on?"

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup nodded. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked to Kiyu as she stepped out of the den. He glanced to the she pups, as they said they were going to show them. He said "Kiyu, come back in. They're going to teach us this...moveless hunter thing first." He then glanced to Yomi and Kuroi. He nodded as Yomi spoke, and he watched Kuroi sat facing the wall, then turned to look at them. He then nodded as Yomi continued to explain. He nodded, saying "I...think I get it." He then waited for Kiyu to come back in and come over here. They wouldn't start the game without her, probably.

Watching Dante process his thoughts, Destiny studied his demeanor and watched him begin to appear to come further out of his shell which he had enclosed himself in after Weiss, loss was hard, grief could overtake you. Destiny knew the pain all too well with her brother but knew that he wanted her to live a full life. She hoped one day, Dante would also be able to know they walk beside him and that those pass want the best for your future. She noticed the returned smile and dipped her head as he spoke in agreement. She took a breath as Dante mentioned being there for her as well. She and Dante had a stronger bond than most of the pack she felt, able to speak freely and knowing that they will always beside the other. It was a nice feeling, a safe feeling. She couldn't help but laugh softly at his comments of expecting her next order "I expect nothing less" she added before returning back to their other conversation.
The guilt of not being the one to tell the pack was eating at her, and Destiny couldn't hide it. She felt that as a failure to her duties she sighed "I hope you're right. It was my duty however" she added with his attempt to console her. Appreciated but, she knew that was her job.
Once the conversation shifted again, she was thankful for the turn from her failure and sadness and into the pack she nodded at the volunteers of assisting with the remains "Wonderful. If a third would like to assist that would be ideal. However, two would work if needed. He shouldn't need too much -- at least I don't think" she commented.
A shiver ran down her spine as Dante mentioned the hunting party's lack of communication "Okay, Do you want to go with me to check? I think the body will be okay for a bit. It's shaded and cool in here so it should not begin to process yet" she added. Destiny wasn't sure if Dante would want to go alone or if she could go, but with running into the Redmoon wolves earlier she wanted to be sure. "If they ran into RedMoon by any chance as we did -- I think we should be present" she commented in almost a whisper. There weren't any apparent ears around to hear, however you could never be too sure.
Destiny rose to her paws and gave her fur a gentle shake, her eyes going back to the body in front of them "you served our pack well" she whispered before making her way towards the exit of the den and into the camp.

Finishing his food, Blaze's ears pricked with the hum of pack conversation. He decided keeping his distance for now would be the best option - besides, conversing, while not anyone's fault was what let ShyFawn slip away from his sight initially and he didn't want anything to further distract him from his number one priority. The pack.
He lifted his head to scan around the clearing, Eros and Nova were setting up to race it appeared, the hunters were conversing and Liberty was off to himself. Blaze respected the step away from the pack, sometimes it was nice to just sit and watch in peace. The ring of Liberty's words echoed in Blaze's ears regarding speaking with him at the return to camp.
He rose back to his paws and flicked his tail, deciding to go ahead and return back to camp. There wasn't really anything for him to do here so he may as well be useful and keep an eye over the dens and camp in general. He turned in the direction of the camp and began to walk away.

River noticed a soft glance of worry cross Milo and she shook her head "no no, it's not a big deal! I'd be happy to go" she reassured Milo with a tail wag. She could see herself opening up to Milo eventually about her fear but she was wanting to join him to the river. She noticed the stutter and offered a smile "I am excited to go with you. I think you'd like it" she said softly.
The conversation shifted and River glanced towards the wolves yet again "he was in our pack, I think he has a sibling or family in Starlight - nevertheless he left us to be with them and now I guess he has returned. At least I think that's what happened. I honestly keep away from him" she admitted "he gives me a weird feeling" she added with a low voice.
River almost jumped as Akiro approached, she was so focused she hadn't seen him approach "oh hi!" she said after catching her breath, she turned hearing Milo speak proud that he had greeted the wolf by name. She wagged her tail and noticed Milo looking to her for reassurance. She nodded and offered a small smile to her new friend.
