I don't even know what they're like?!? Are they like Halloween and Easter where you get tokens?! Is it like Christmas where you get new pets every day?!??!

It's definitely more like Halloween and Easter! You hunt for banners to collect tokens just like in those events, but the big difference is that the event page isn't just a place to turn your tokens in, but a nicely illustrated map of an intriguing area with different locations to go to, and characters to talk to (and they're the ones you turn tokens in to), and there's a whole overarching plot that runs through the event (usually a mystery) and new story information is revealed/new token trade-ins and free adopts are added each day! There's way more reading involved.

Wait there's an event?

Every late July there's a "Summer Vacation" event wherein Avian and Totoro go on holiday to some wacky location. As far as I can remember (but might be wrong, sorry), the event normally starts during the weekend of the second-to-last week (so basically tomorrow) and is 'announced' a day beforehand in the form of a pet dressup, but there hasn't been any for whatever reason.

Here's a screenshot of last year's for reference. The pet isn't dressed up anymore, but you get the gist of it.

Oh look . No event. Which means I get to start the event next week with a 5 day Deficit. Fantastic.

I work 12 hr shifts, so I’ll get about 3 hours a night to token hunt. This sucks.

I guess we might be waiting another week for the event. on one hand, I'm sad. But on another hand... Yippee cuz it still means I have it to look forward to that just means they're makin it super good for us

I was so sure the event was going to start today that I waited around till roll-over but, unfortunately, to no avail.

The event will start when it starts, I suppose. It's always going to be at a bad time for *somebody*, unfortunately.

But back on the main topic... I'm mildly sad that none of this month's dragons appear to be growing into the full/final growth. The funky circular pose these are stopping at is not my fave. I really like the large/final pose so much better! But I understand, it's an extra stage for artists to color. Well there's a few dragons left so there's still a little hope. And regardless of pose they are a very pretty litter!

The anticipation of the summer event is too much to bear! I loved last year's theme and I'm so excited to see this year's theme : )))
