If I put on an item from the borrowing event and I'm not happy with how it looks? Can I remove it, or will it be perm gone~? Wanted to make sure before I use any event items

So “items” can be traded in for borrowing currency (or shells for the summer event.)

“Wearables” are things your skippy can wear.
You are allowed to keep both your skippy as is, and the skippy with the wearable on it. That way you get to decide whether it is wearing it or not when you post it.(kind of like a wardrobe!)
But it still only counts as one skippy. So you cannot post the “naked” skippy and the dressed up skippy at the same time for borrowing or anything like that.

If you would like to put multiple wearables on your skippy, you can also have the choice to put it on a skippy that already is wearing something, or the original skippy again so they have multiple outfits!

If you have the item applied and immediately decide you don’t like it, you could ask to have it removed and put back into your inventory. But it has to be right at the time it was applied. It cannot be removed if it’s been a week after it has been applied. But the only way you could otherwise get rid of the item is to discard it or gift it to someone else.
