Appearance: Iduna is a towering, imposing figure, nearly eight feet tall with skin like polished marble. Her eyes flicker in a twisting rainbow of colors- green, pink, blue and white- with such an intensity that they leave shimmering trails in her wake. Indeed, this aurora-like energy spills from her body like water from a sieve, forming ribbons of scintillating light that wreathe her jet-black armor like robes, and wreathes her weapons in ethereal veils. In her left hand, she wields a massive, blunt-tipped greatblade, a weapon that most mortals wouldn't be able to lift even with both hands. Her right hand either holds a large tower shield, adorned with the aurora-wreathed eye of the Stardust Vanguard, or an enchanted hourglass, a focal point for her spells.

Personality: Iduna is a somber, serious woman, but she tries not to let it show, especially around mortals. She's kind, jovial, and more than willing to share the vast amounts of wisdom she's accrued over her long life, but the more emotionally intelligent will quickly intuit that it's a facade that takes a great deal of effort to maintain, and when she thinks nobody is looking she'll quickly let it drop. It's clear that her past deeds weigh heavily on her, and despite her many years in service to Sigmar, she doesn't feel like she's fully atoned.
Background: Iduna was once a worshipper of Chaos, the leader of a mighty warband and the favored of the dark god Tzeentch. She committed many horrific acts in the name of her god, but still, when she was finally felled in battle, she was offered a chance to join the ranks of the Stormcast Eternals. Through her Reforging, her soul was freed from Tzeench's influence, and she dedicated herself to freeing others from the grasp of the dark gods as well. She rose through the ranks quickly, and soon became the head of her own Stormhost, the Stardust Vanguard, one formed entirely out of other souls that had been reclaimed from Chaos.
Other information: Iduna's body has been forged by Grugni, the lord of the forge, and imbued with the powerful magics of Sigmar, but the influence of Tzeentch is strong, and not even the combined efforts of two of the mightiest gods was able to erase it completely. Where other Stormcast summon forth bolts of lightning and comets of Azyrite, she calls upon shimmering auroras and reality-warping magics. Like all Stormcast, she can disperse her form into pure energy, streaking across the skies in blazes of holy lightning- or, in her case, as a blazing aurora. Also like all Stormcast, she can never truly die. When her corporeal form is killed, she dissipates in a blaze of energy and returns to Azyr, where her body is forged anew.

Character name: Ainz Ooal Gown
Gender/pronouns: Male

Appearance: Underneath his equipment, Ainz is nothing but bones. He has no flesh or blood to speak of, but otherwise, he is identical to a regular human skeleton, standing at roughly 5'8 (177cm). Additionally, a red orb exists within his chest at the bottom of his ribcage, and there is a crimson glow in his eye sockets that sometimes takes on the appearance of fire. Ainz wears heavily enchanted black academic robes trimmed with purple and gold and nine rings between each of his hands. The caster robes seem to exude an ominous aura, but it's entirely aesthetic - there was space for extra data, so a "dread" effect was added.
Personality: As an undead, Ainz doesn't express or feel hardly any level of emotion. His mental state has become almost sociopathic, which is an unsettling change for him. Although he still feels emotion and is prone to anger or stress, their presences are fleeting - should he grow irrational or angry, he is quick to calm himself and consider situations with a more level head. He's a cautious player whose greatest strength lies in careful planning and strategy. His magical knowledge is far more overwhelming than his own prowess, and he uses this to his advantage by gathering as much information as he can when encountering any new situation. Ainz is a habitual collector and open to learning new experiences, so if something piques his curiosity, you can expect him to have questions at the ready.
Background: In the year 2138, there was a popular dmmo-rpg known as YGGDRASIL. It ran for twelve years before the devs announced the game would be going offline permanently, and with it all the memories the players had made together. Once, there were forty-one members of the in-game guild Ainz Ooal Gown. At the end of YGGDRASIL's running, only one remained: the guildmaster. On the final day, an invitation was sent out to all the guild members for one last hurrah before all their hard work vanished. Few accepted and fewer stayed, and by the end, there was once again only one. This was, however, only the end of the beginning. The guildmaster found himself in a foreign land completely different from the YGGDRASIL setting, along with his guild hall and all the npcs he and his friends created together. He took the name of his guild as his own and began to spread it across the new world, solidifying it into legend, in the hopes that one day his friends would return to find the guild still standing, and he would no longer have to be alone.
Abilities: As a pure arcane magic caster, Lord Ainz's primary method of offense lies in his spellcasting. With the use of the special ability "dark wisdom," he was able to learn and memorize 718 different spells, but his specialty is in death magic and ghost magic: spells with powerful status or debuff magic with secondary effects. One such spell is his cast of choice, "grasp heart;" it has an instant death effect unless the target resists, and if so, it leaves them stupefied or stunned as a secondary effect. On the other hand, his comparatively niche specialization leaves many of his offensive spells to be lacking, so he has to rely on technical knowledge or summons when his magic pool runs low. Additionally, with an arcane casting class, Ainz's selection of actual weapons is limited largely to staves, daggers, wands, and the like. Still, there are some loopholes he can take advantage of to bypass this restriction to some degree. He wields his badge of office, The Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown. The guild weapon is a vastly powerful item whose abilities range from casting high-tier spells contained in its crowning gems to enhancing the wielder's own skills and abilities. It's the product of years of collaboration and hard work from Ainz and his friends, and it was created for him specifically as guildmaster. That said, the destruction of this weapon would simultaneously mean the destruction of the guild he wants so desperately to return to. He would be hesitant to use this weapon at all, in an effort to preserve it.

Excerpt: ... Ainz picked up the bottle from the wood counter and tilted it slightly, watching the way its contents sloshed within the container. It was as Calliope said: this potion was magical in origin, equivalent to a second-tier healing spell. He knew that, she knew that, and so did every other pharmacist in E-Rantel. The last thing he said was only meant as a disclaimer; it didn't really matter to Ainz whether he sold it or not. He had, frankly, an ungodly amount of minor healing potions, and many more that were better than this one. The guildmaster personally had no use for them, since as an undead he took damage from healing magic, but many of his old guildmates and the npcs in Nazarick still could.

On the other hand, even if he sold it, he'd only get, what, eight gold? Ten? Twenty maybe if he found the right buyer? The information it could provide him about this new world was infinitely more valuable than the potion itself, and for the time being, he wouldn't want it falling into the wrong hands.

i didn't notice ainz' post until after i posted it rip but i gotta say i love how literally all four characters' starters mention they've somehow been in a similar situation before :')

Character name: Skybell (aka Scories, Master of Flames, Scorpioness)
Gender/pronouns: non-binary (he/they)

Sexuality: demiromantic demisexual and somehow still in progress of figuring this out
Relationships: Lochlan (seems friendly, possible crush?),

Appearance: Skybell is short in height (151cm), with their overall small posture and big crimson eyes, he appears younger than he actually is. They have long dark blue, almost black hair which gently lighten up to soft white and azure glow. They bear almost black markings, that contrast with spirits pale skin, they symmetrical, resembling a tattoo of star on their arms and stylized ribcage with a fragment of a spine on their torso. Additionally his hands and feet fade to the dark color of the markings.
Skybell also possesses a pair of well sized wings, these are usually hidden, incorporeal, only becoming physical and visible when he actually needs to fly or when startled/scared. Wings are feathered and have the same color and glow as the star spirit's hair, loose feathers make faint wind chime noise when being touched and glow on their own, however they disintegrate into stardust after some time.

Personality: Skybell is artist at heart, but they are quite lazy when it comes to things that aren't related in any way to art, he tends to leave his stuff all over his house, sometimes even forgetting where he put something. He's not a social butterfly, gravitating more towards being an anti-social hermit artistan, than actual functioning member of society. Despite being shy around new people Skybell is lighthearted non-conflict person, it's hard to make him angry at all, but beware since he can be petty and mean if you do. Nothing actually harmful, but his revenge is more of "I hope you step on a Lxgo brick!"/"I hope your pillow stays warm!" and being mildly infuriating.
Background: Skybell was born in Scorpio Constellation, he was kinda an accident due to the small mix up in left over celestial matter when Scorpio Demiurge Antares was remodelling nebula. Skybell is currently one of the youngest star spirit under Antares custody, he has a little trouble staying in Scorpio Constellation due to their still a little unstable existance, which is how the spirit ended on Earth of all places (more like the blue falling star faceplanted just outside the manor, but anyway).
Other information: (Abilities, ETC.)
* Due to being a star spirit Skybell can use fire magic, with a bit control over earth magic. He is kinda self-proclaimed Master of Flames.
* In fight they can switch between two weapons, which he can summon when the situation calls for it: Staff of Celestial Flames and two handed Blue Cometh Blade.
* Skybell is youngest star spirit in their constellation, meaning that in human years he is roughly 23 years.
* Both Skybells robes and his weapons are formed from the same star dust and celestial matter as their body, meaning that he can manipulate his own clothing at will. For example he can just disappear his outer robe and change their gloves into light hand/arm armor when fighting. Very useful for this lazy potato.

geode (ji) keeps to herself most of the time, to avoi
d socializing. the truth is, she talks a lot if you start
a conversation with her, but that's the reason she av
oids socializing. she's afraid of people judging her o
pinion on things. when she was a teenager, she was
bullied for her lynx ears and tail. her hair used to b
e ash blonde, but she dyed it purple to match with
her ears. geode's ancestors were royal, but she isn't
because where she comes from, the royals don't "ex
ist" anymore. you can always find her reading or we
aring her headphones that she keeps in her hoodie
pocket, around her neck or on her ears. she puts th
em on whenever she feels angry or uncomfortable,
or just in general, when she's bored. the truth is, ji
is an awesome dancer, but nobody except for her m
irror at homes knows this. ji doesn't wear contacts,
her eyes are naturally pink. most people think she
has albinism, but it's something she got from her m
other, who had albinism and passed it on to her dau
ghter.
