My fav poem is a common one, its The Raven by eap. Its one of my favs simply because of the choice of words and mood of the whole thing. Also because of the deeper meaning behind everything

One of my favorite poems is Sonnet 130 by Shakespeare for a few reasons:
1) I think it's pretty unique because the writer is basically saying their lover isn't this otherworldly supermodel more beautiful than Aphrodite herself, but they love her anyway.
2) The poem itself is a criticism of other poets who exaggerate the beauty of their lover to the point of lying.
3) It made me laugh when I first read it.

My favorite quote is a line from a My Chemical Romance song,

The future is bulletproof, the aftermath is secondary.

I just think it's kind of a beautiful way to look at life, the future is bulletproof because it hasn't happened yet and anything is possible, and the aftermath is secondary because all that matters is here and now, and the consequences of our actions are secondary to living in this moment. 🖤
