Although clearly not a perfect or popular system, I wouldn't say Member 2 (in your example) is being punished. If their C$ debt was pardoned, then they would have both the pets they traded the c$ for, and the c$, in fact creating an unfair benefit.

Sorren Fey has made a post saying that if a user is in this c$ debt and wants to figure out an alternative solution, to send a ticket in. I believe it's possible for those users to make arrangements so as to no longer be in debt, but not be given an unfair gift.

Sorren Fey wrote:We understand this is frustrating for all parties involved but unfortunately there is no easy solution for this. Generating pets and items and C$ to simply replace what's lost will only open doors for explotation so this can only be done for specific and rare situations and won't be the standard procedure for anything that was lost.

If your balance went into the negatives because of a reverse it means you traded the C$ away, so you are holding the equivalent of the lost C$ in pets or items instead. Again, we understand this isn't ideal but if you are unhappy with that situation you can submit a help ticket and we'll see what we can suggest for you.

Lex. wrote:For reference, we still do not get notified of reversals.

If you've not done so already, could you send in a ticket with details such as the date and link of your reversal, so that I can send that up to Nick?

Support. I have never ever seen a children’s game include putting people in debt for currency worth real money. I’m going to respectfully disagree with debt being forgiven for a situation that was not the users fault being an unfair gift.

But why make users reverse payments made to the c$ store to "solve it"? If everything was fine before, I don't see why stripping users of the pets/items THEY bought is the answer. It seems exploitative to be put into c$ debt. I for one would just quit the site altogether if I lost all of my c$ and was in the negatives, I'm not paying real money to play a free game, let alone to get myself out of a debt that I didn't deserve or cause.

Support, but only if it includes every player getting back what they lost, like for instance if the pet that member 2 bought from member 3 was returned to them, and the C$ member 3 got from member 2 was returned in the end to member 1, if that makes any sense and is possible.

support !! Even though players technically got the worth of the c$ back in pets, it is not guaranteed they will get the amount of c$ back. Especially because buying pets for c$ isn’t incredibly popular within the trading economy as the influx of c$ worth keeps going down.

Also it’s not only traders who are c$ dept, it’s artists too ! Whom which don’t receive anything when the trade is reversed

support, ur forcing players to earn back c$ that they did not know was from a hacked account. it's stupid to forced people 2 be in debt on chicken smoothie. there's so much c$ . it's worthless to an extent . it would not hurt anyone if more c$ was generated to give to these people, it's not even their fault.

Support! I had an adopt stolen so I got compensated, but it seems a lot of people who did pet for c$ trades are just kinda out of luck or stuck with just a ticket in limbo. No one should ever been in debt over something that isn't their fault. The lack in security and hacking blame shouldn't ever fall onto a victim of it.

Yes, but Member 2 made that trade knowing exactly how much C$ they had in their account. It's not like they were buying pets they couldn't afford, yet now they may end up in C$ debt. Not everyone is willing to do trade-backs. Not every pet has the same value as when it was traded for. Heck, Member 2 may have already traded away the pets they bought, and now they have to jump through hoops just to get them back and pay off their totally unexpected debt? Member 2 is absolutely being punished here.

The system is broken, and every excuse I've seen thus far has frankly only been half thought out at best.

CS needs to understand and acknowledge that the majority of players are minors with no income. They should've put the C$ balance at 0. Throwing people into debt for something that they couldn't have known about is not ok. The fact that their only solution for those in debt is to just buy C$ is ridiculous. The mods need to address this situation and come up with a solution fast or this site will face the loss of MANY players.

Oopsies! I quit :(
