I didn't have any reversed trades so far but I'm not a very active trader and rarely adopt from the free adoptions either.

As far as I understood, someone is hacking accounts, creates a "quitting, free pets" thread and gifts away the pets from the hacked account? Or did I get this wrong? Because I saw people saying the accounts would be deleted but then they wouldn't delete the hacker but the hacked acc of an innocent person? I'm confused...

i had this reversed unfortunate, but i guess atleast i got my ur back. i thought since we went back and forth that i wouldn't get a reversal, but i guess in hindsight having absolutely no messages could've been a red flag

I guess there was a mass of reverse trade, so this will be something to read while I'm at work ( I have now been informed about it via PM, thanks!). I don't think I've had any trades reversed "against" me, but I did have one done myself. It was some items I accidentally gave to someone in a tired haze; I was trying to "adopt" some items instead. I've had pets moved to my account from art contests where the owner disappeared as well.

I can finally say I owned a UR... for one hour!

As soon as I received this "gift" I knew it was probably going to be reversed, so I didn't even bother taking these pets off my wishlist. There still wasn't a trade notification, but it did say this in the message: "This trade included pets or items from a compromised account so it needs to be reversed to return them. Sorry for the inconvenience!" So I'm glad they added that at least, but I hope the notification gets added (maybe it already was, this reversal happened yesterday and there wasn't one).

Just wanted to let you know, the notifications for reversed trades hasn't been implemented yet, its still in the works along with some other security updates. The admins should make an announcement once those are completed ^^

Though if you do get a suspicious trade or gift it is helpful to report it so we can catch things like this sooner. Accepting it and just hoping it doesn't get reversed just gives them time to send out even more trades that have to be reversed.

As a note to anyone who received random (sometimes high value) gifts from me in the last few days.... It wasn't a hack. I just get on CS randomly and give out high value pets sometimes. It was just bad timing for this random giveaway.

I did get one of my gifts reversed, but it was because the user gifted me back C$ store items so the mods reversed both trades automatically. I should probably reach out to the user and see if they're actually active (I pull from users online to try and make sure I get people who have been online recently and are thus more likely to be an active member.)
