Temporarily Locking New "CS Free Adoptions"

It seems that for whatever reason, much of these reversed trades are spawning from hackers logging into people's accounts and giving away all their pets. It happened to me just yesterday, and now I'm in C$ debt. In line with this appears to be a huge influx of users quitting, and while I'd like to think they really are just sending their stuff off to better homes out of the goodness of their hearts, I've grown a bit cynical watching this whole situation unfold over the last few days or so.

My suggestions is that new posts in "CS Free Adoptions" be temporarily locked until things settle down and site security is improved.

P.S. Change your passwords, people! If your using the same keyboard smash across every game you play, your account is at increased risk of being compromised, and nobody wants that.

I think it's best that the entire board/topic be locked until this is solved and security is in place. This is ridiculous.

Support. That, or CS go down for temporary maintenance so they can add extra protection asap while preventing more and more accounts from being broken into in the meantime.

Support! I just started giving away my pets because of this situation but for the safety of everyones pets and trades id say its an amazing idea

Support! Luckily haven't had anything happen but as someone who was, like, very recently (like minutes ago) participating in them, saw this post and had my mind changed very quickly I definitely can get behind this. I am also curious about why there are suddenly so many more "Quitting" accounts.

At this point I highly recommend this because I keep seeing quitting threads pop up and then suddenly they disappear or a bunch of people post about trade reverses Temporary shut down of ONE SIDED / GIFT / FREE PETS trading should be happening rn or AT THE VERY LEAST they need to make an announcement and send out an email to ALL users that this is happening. No announcement or email is alarming because I just had to spread the news to some friends that this is happening and 99% of them had 0 idea this is going on and were gonna try and do some trades on the quitting threads
