After tracking their scent, they found them lying dead in a snowdrift. It seems they froze to death.

Fogspirit blinked. She couldn't believe it! A recruit! This was her chance to start a legacy. She excitedly approached the pure black cat that nervously stood.

"What? Who are you?" the stranger hissed. He arched his back ready to attack. "Wait! I come in peace. I swear by SpiritClan I will do you no harm. I want to ask you a question." She nervously pinned her ears back and made sure the fur on her shoulders lay flat to appear harmless.

The stranger tilted his head. What's SpiritClan? "Would you like to join FogClan? It's a growing group of cats that all live and hunt for and protect each other. It's like a rogue group but with more contribution. I can explain what SpiritClan is to you if you'd like! You can follow me and I'll lead you to the territory while we talk."

The black cat looked at Fogspirit. Hesitantly, he nodded. "Sure. My name is Cygnus. It'll take me a little time to decide if I want to join, but why not learn more about it?"

The two chatted as they walked, eventually reaching the territory. Fogspirit did the tour for Cygnus, but he noticed something. She had lied! This Clan concept wasn't growing at all. There's no one here! "Where is everyone?"

"That's the issue..." she mewed ashamedly. "You're the first one to even listen. I tried to talk to other cats, but nothing happened. And so, I called upon SpiritClan for help, and now I'm here."

The two chatted for a while, and after a hard decision, Cygnus joined. They went on patrol and enjoyed their time together before returning to the camp.

"Now for the ceremony! Come, sit in front this log," Fogspirit beckoned. "I call upon SpiritClan to join me tonight as I name this cat full of potential in front of me an official member of FogClan. He has proven his intelligence and loyalty in the show of hunting prey with excellent skill, even if he missed a few, and defending his leader from a threat. I have great faith in this cat. With his kindness and gentle nature, I name him Cygnuswillow. Cygnuswillow, do you agree with your new name, new life, and unwavering loyalty?"

He nodded.

"Then with SpiritClan watching, I hereby pronounce Cygnuswillow as a full member of our Clan. Welcome to the Clan. You have SpiritClan's word." She leapt down from the fallen tree. "Now, for a celebration. Marshdweller would always celebrate like this. We can't do much of it because we don't have enough members, but each member would give you a piece of prey and you would summon SpiritClan and offer it as a thank you for their word. Since our Clan is still growing, let's not donate the prey. The other thing we would do is let you sleep on the fallen long to speak with SpiritClan so they can give you wisdom and advice for certain situations. They might speak with you for a long time because you never were apprenticed."

Cygnuswillow's eyes sparkled. "Well, we better get to it!"

✏ coughsyrup's patrol caught x1 shrew. hotrod was lingering at the back of the patrol with tapiocapudding, the two talking in soft voices, careful to not scare any prey that was around. tapiocapudding nudged her friend, a playful smile on her face, "wanna dance?" hotrod chuckled softly, "while patrolling?" tapiocapudding giggled, "i think all cats deserve a break to have some fun, especially in such a stressful season. the bicolor ticked tabby danced around her friend, unaware of how close the two were to a cliff's edge. hotrod played along, bowing and then leaping, as if doing some combination of playfighting and dancing. the two rolled around, laughing and attempting to dance (as well as a cat could). each she-cats' mind was only focused on the cat they were dancing with. tapiocapudding realized how close she was to the cliff, looking over the edge. hotrod, unaware of the distance between tapiocapudding and the edge, bounced towards her friend, accidentally knocking tapiocapudding off. the bicolor ticked tabby felt her foot slip. and then felt nothing except her own body plummeting towards the ground. hotrod looked at her falling friend with absolute fear. hotrod would save her. tapiocapudding felt it in her heart; her friend wouldn't let her die. but as hotrod's screaming figure became more and more blurry, tapiocapudding reached out her paw, trying to cling onto her friend, but her paw grasped nothing but air as her body hit the ground

✏ bunchberrybloom's patrol ended up having to go back early. lavarock noticed a shining glimmer in a body of water and was intrigued. he decided to go and dive for the shiny object, but miscalculated how shallow the water was, ending up dislocating his jaw. he winced and attempted to set it back himself, but that only worsened the problem, and when he returned to the patrol, was immediately taken back to be checked over. it appears that his attempt to fix it only worsened it, causing it to be permanent, but as long as he rests for x2 moons and uses x1 poppy seed and x1 oak leaf he should be fine

Reputation
The Lotus Garden, commonly called the Garden, is rather mysterious and quiet. The Garden mainly keeps to themselves and try to start no arguments or territorial dispute. While they are quiet they are not heartless and will share news of disaster or warning with their neighboring clans as well as the news of dangerous members that have been banished from the Garden's society. The society is fair and balanced, but not easily tread on and will refuse to aid another group if it puts their own at risk or they feel like they are being diasdvantaged by helping.

Beliefs System
The Lotus Garden believes in Starclan and when a member of the Garden dies, they bury them with a lotus flower to guide their fallen kin safely to Silverpelt. It is a tradition for mentors to give their apprentices their first lotus seed upon completing their assessment and having their warrior ceromony. It is considered good luck upon the clan and a promising future for the cat if the seed they planted sprouts into new lotus blossoms and many queens will name their futureborn among the lotus fields when they feel the time is right to ensure a promising future for their next generation!

Territory Climate
The Garden resides in a freshwater marshland that rarely freezes. The temperature ranges between 78°F in the summer and 30°F in the winter and it is common for the Garden to move to a secondary camp in the summer every few seasons due to the marshland flooding. Droughts are uncommon in the territory but can occur, mainly from two-leg interference. Lotus Garden members must be cautious of the cold waters around winter and the muddy clutches of the soil after storms during greenleaf, always having to test mud with a delicate paw or else they can be swallowed up by the greedy substance.

Founding History
The Lotus Garden was founded originally by kittypets-turned-loners due to their two-legs abandoning them or storms ripping them from their comfortable kittypet lifestyle. Little is known whether starclan welcomed them with open paws in the face of the catastrophic storms, or if the Garden proved themselves with their cunning and survival in the face of disaster, but the Garden knows their place among the stars is a right they hold, and will not let any cat disrespect them due to their origins.

Each Warrior apprentice must complete the basics of each category and then choose one category to specialize in before they may become a warrior. All Medicine cat apprentices must complete their training in every category before they are to be recognized as fully fledged medicine cat by their mentors.

“ “Why does Sootstorm keep assigning you two to the same patrols?” Palefern whispered, eyeing the fawn warrior warily as he carefully stalked a canyon wren using the canyon’s rocks and sage brush for cover. Fawneyes shook her head, mystified. “I don’t know. The entire clan knows he doesn’t like me. He’s gotten better than when we first joined Pinyonclan but Moonblink thinks that him ignoring me is just as bad.” Her voice was just as quiet. “What’s his problem? He’s not too fond of Sandsplash or Flynn and they were kittypets once too but he respects them.” Palefern pointed out, her voice raising with indignation. Many of the clan were former kittypets but the two toms were the only other cats besides Fawneyes who had kept mementos of their former lives. “Shh, Palefern!” It was too late too. A flutter of wings announced the canyon wren’s departure and Oatwhisker gave a sharp, frustrated hiss. The pale fawn warrior stared at them, blue eyes hard as flint. “If you’re going to gossip about your clanmates, at least be quiet enough not to scare off prey!” There was a pointed note in Oatwhisker’s voice that made Fawneyes flinch at the guilt gnawing at her belly. She hadn’t meant any harm but if Fawneyes had overheard her clanmates talking about her, she would’ve been upset as well. Palefern however, did not seem to share Fawneyes’ distress. The gray and white molly narrowed her eyes but held her tongue as Sootstorm and Mistlepaw approached. “Everything okay here?” Sootstorm asked carefully, glancing between the patrol. Mistlepaw’s green eyes were wide but the molly was quiet, listening. “Fine,” Oatwhisker said after a moment, shooting a glare at Fawneyes and Palefern. Palefern raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything and with Fawneyes’ silence, Sootstorm sighed. “We’re all clanmates now and we need to start working together. I’ve been hoping that by sending the two of you on patrols together, you’d work out your differences. Being able to count on all of your clanmates for support is an important part of clan-life and I hope we’ll all remember that.” Sootstorm reminded them adding, “Our clanmates remaining at camp are depending on us to return with plenty of fresh-kill. Let’s not disappoint them, yeah?” Tail tip flicking to and fro, the deputy led Mistlepaw a couple paces off. “Let’s see how much you can catch, shall we?” He said, a playful note of challenge in his tone. Mistlepaw brightened, her eyes flashing with interest and she nodded. “Flynn’s going to be so shocked by how much prey I bring back, he’ll be speechless!” She boasted, sniffing the air for signs of prey. As Oatwhisker and Palefern followed their lead, Fawneyes glanced at her paws. Sootstorm was right. They did need to work things out but would Oatwhisker even be willing to cooperate? She glanced at the tom with a sigh, realizing she should probably apologize. Palefern wouldn’t agree, believing that the fawn warrior should apologize first but Fawneyes wasn’t so sure that he’d make the first move. Fixing the situation would take some thought on how to best talk to Oatwhisker. He had gone from full out antagonizing her to ignoring her so perhaps it was a good sign? As Fawneyes began to scent out her own prey, she sighed slightly. Perhaps it might have been more fun to join the border patrol with the new warriors, Snailblossom and Hyacinth but there would be time to make friends with them as well as figure out what to say to Oatwhisker once they were back at camp. For now, she needed to focus on her prey.

- Dustbee joins the clan! Dustbee is just what her name describes - a busy little bee who's always kicking (well, as best as she can) up dust. She is always working on one project or another with what seems to be infinite drive. Mostly she works on construction projects such as remodeling dens or building new ones (which she's very good at putting her own spice into), but she can just as often be seen telling stories to the kits or challenging her friends.
- Stormpaw becomes an apprentice! Their mentor is Rosettefinder.
- Walleyestrike joins the clan! When she first met the clan, Copperpaw spoke up about not knowing what a koi was. He only knew about trout, sturgeons, and walleye. He started calling her Walleye instead of Koi and she found it hilarious so the name stuck.
- Snowfin joins the clan!
- Pipersong is having a very hard pregnancy. After a long series of tests and herbs, Salamipath pulls Acorntuft and Mothbillow away one day. He grills them about their ability to keep a secret and eventually tells Acorntuft and Mothbillow about a healer story that had been passed down. Apparently, there is a gathering of cats that meets every moon. They meet just over the river and, if you follow the line past the two-leg bridge and through some trees, you'll meet the cats who sell the magic kit-herbs. Salamipath says it does not take more than four sun-cycles to get there. They later check with Pipersong, who agrees. Mothbillow and Acorntuft are uncertain about going on this journey, as they would like to stay with their unborn kits. Eventually, Acorntuft decides to stay and Mothbillow decides to go. As Mothbillow decides to go, he starts to shake with nerves. He is afraid to go on this unknown journey alone. Although Salamipath originally stated it would be best to keep the trip a secret, so that the resources they sell are not exploited by the clan, Salamipath says it would be fine to tell one more clan-mate and go with them. Mothbillow debates between a few faces, but eventually decides on one of his closest friends, Sootfreckle. Salamipath runs off then to go interview Sootfreckle to make sure he is worthy of knowing the secret.
Goldenstar does not expect to die while they are off, but she appoints Honeypuff as the alternative deputy anyways. The clan questions this, but when questioned all they are told is that 'Mothbillow and Sootfreckle are going on a trip to get some medicine.' As one may expect, that awakens some anger and confusion in the clan, however no questions were answered that moon.
