And also, confusion, as I've stated so many times, why were the pets not just re-created? There have been instances where pets have been re-created in scenarios like this. We have the proof of these pets! Those weird little TD pets that sit with newly adopted pets because their ID is all funky. There was no need for any of this to happen. There was a very simple fix and I just can't see any reason that this wasn't applied here. It wouldn't have crashed the economy? Like I am just genuinely confused as to why certain situations are okay to re-create pets but others aren't.
Please give us answers.
This is true. The user that was "hacked" that was involved with my own trade reversals is inactive, so their pets won't be counted in the rarity updates anyway, at least that's assuming it's true that pets rarities are dictated by users with the pets and if they're active.

You have my full support.
This situation was all very overwhelming and while i do wish they could give us more clarity, i think this suggestion would work. Creating new pets to replace the ones taken is a good idea, and maybe giving people C$ back to those who are in debt and/or who spent real life money for that C$. I just hope that this all gets fully resolved soon and we come up with a better solution.
Edit; also to return artists payments which for reversed. It’s super unfair in their situation, i know i’d be frustrated.

agree, and i’d like to say why.
i understand that things happen, and not every single player on the game needs to know the exact details. however, i think it is very clear, this was not handled appropriately at all. there should be some form of communication to the effected users before the trades are initiated. for example, when my trades were reversed, i was left sitting in shock and confusion, watching as one by one, over the course of an hour, my pets i have spent hours collecting we’re just sent away without a thought. i sent a help ticket, thinking what if id done something wrong? no response. i replied to my help ticket. it’s opened, no response.
then i notice i’m over -800c$ in debt. no communication on this. no response on if i’m to pay this. i’ve spent hundreds of dollars on c$ just this last december to supplement my c$ to allow me to collect more pets.
i feel as if saying that the trades were reversed and we got back what we paid isn’t fair. the time and effort hasn’t been taken into consideration. the hard to find pets, the back and forth… all gone as if it never mattered. and then to have no answer while the threads are locked just feels like a slap in the face.

A lot of the onus is being put on the players to "make right" these trades again, by simply re-doing them. But with this huge chain of events, how is that possible? There are pets missing out of the ecosystem that belonged to the compromised account that will not be traded back. I understand that artists who took the hacked pets as payment will likely get compensation in the form of re-created pets and/or free C$, but people who traded with the account will not get that same treatment. Some people might not have the pets anymore that were traded to them, and can't reverse the reverse trade. There is a chance that someone who paid C$ for a certain pet, might not pay C$ again now that it's back in their account, leaving that person in debt. This is a bad look for the site, especially just before their biggest event of the year, and with no posts except for a couple mod replies and a single admin reply on a locked/deleted thread, most people are left completely in the dark.
Silencing people whenever there's been an issue on the site is nothing new. The lack of transparency on CS has always gotten under my skin a little bit.
