hey everybody!!
a lot's been going on recently so i haven't been on cs in a while
my health hasn't been great and on top of that i have been busy with work because we're understaffed

i was going to start drawing again but my tablet doesn't work anymore (i haven't used it for a long time, don't know what happened) and just won't turn on or anything so rip
i found my old one though! it's small and doesn't have an actual screen but it'll work for now. it's actually the first tablet i ever got

i'm looking for tablet recommendations!! preferably something that isn't huge, has a digital screen, and is somewhat affordable

if you havent already, id try searching up issues specific to your tablet! ive never owned a display tablet so i dont know a lot about them, but it may just need something replaced or a new cord or smth, which is usually cheaper than buying a whole new item.

but ive heard gaomon and xp-pen tablets are supposed to be good! iirc they tend to be cheaper than other tablets of the same size. right now it looks like both have sales going on too which is a bonus. but it really depends on what you need/want. huion is also an option but ive seen a lot of people have issues with them in the oekaki (& in general). but if you plan on using it in the oekaki (which i assume so) i would also try searching up the brand in the help & questions forum to see if theres anything that seems to be a common issue :)

personally, from what i remember when i was looking, id probably go with an xp-pen. iirc its similar to wacom's quality but at a cheaper price point.
