Star looks down at the panther with a snort, "I'd believe that if I didn't know any better. Lion's cannot be trusted." She sighs heavily as she looks down at the den, knowing her son was the only thing she had left.

Gem tilts her head as she looks at the lioness, her eyes following her closely. She lets out a small squeak at her, "Gem."

"It's nice meet you Gem." She said then swiped her tongue over her paw.

"Too true." She murmured, sitting down. "I wonder what the leopard has in store for the lion cub." Night added, her eyes gleaming.

Gem frowns at her, "I wish I didn't meet you." She says with a grumble, her paw swatting at the lioness, but keeping her claws sheathed. She wasn't stupid enough to make the lioness to angry.

Star looks down at the panther. "I know he wants to create the ultimate race of cats, but I don't know exactly what he's going to do with this cub."

Night nodded, "Some more of the lioness's should have their cubs later, we might be able to snatch one while it's still young and it could be raised against them. We could tell it that it was rejected by the other lions and we were kind enough to take it in." Night suggested with a smirk.

Star looks over at her with a chuckle, "Yes, we just need to find a way to feed it until it can eat meat." She flicks her tail a bit as her gaze travels back to the lion's den.

"True." She muttered, watching the lion cave. "But other than that it would work great." She said with a dark chuckle.

Star nods, her mind racing as she looks around. "That's what I told him to wait for, but he seems to be pretty impatient about it."

Maumiu peeked out of the den. "So you think this cub is any good? Don't tell me I risked my life for nothing."

Vargal was soaring above them and landed on a near by branch, curiosity eating at him. (Ok just soyall know the vulture has a dorky voice like goofy. Lol) "what's this? Different rival cats chatting?" He laughed "oh, this otta be good."

Star looks behind herself at the wild dog poking his head out of the den. "No, I believe you did just fine." She turns with a smile. "We don't even know what kind of cubs he's looking for."
