GH Litter Discussion 2023

When tonight’s kitty grew, the first thing I thought of, besides what a pretty kitty, was this is Eagle’s Eye’s kitty. And Fluffystar is thinking the same thing! The detailing reminds us more of Eagle’s style versus Ashki’s.



But then I thought maybe Ashki’s because this cat has heterochromia eyes. Then I looked back at Eagle’s kitties and realized their 2019 also has heterochromia eyes!



And not only that, this kitty has Eagle’s signature purple eyes! At least the right one is purple, just like one of the eyes in the 2019 kitty also had a purple eye. So both Fluffystar and I believe this PPS is Eagle’s kitty!

@General Chaos: Great reasoning! It will be fun finding out if you are correct! I am so anxious to see all the kitties grow and find out whose kitties they are!

@Catmother I was about to post the same theory! Definitely think it's Eagle's kitty.

The biggest indicator to me was that their kitty prefers mountains over beaches. The pattern on it looks like mountains and it has a bobcat tail.

I also went through the remaining artists past kitties and it definitely matches Eagle's style the most.

I also have a sneaking suspicion



this guy is going to be Lennie's kitten. Hear me out.

Deductive reasoning. The last kittens we have left are Eagles, Lennie's, Swishy & Broken and Ashki.

If we are assuming today's kitten is Eagle's, than that leaves three.

I cancelled out Swishy & broken because all of their past kittens have line edits in the middle stage as well as the last. I assume (and hope) this stays the same for this year.

I also cancelled out Ashki because we know theirs will be a PPS kitten. And assuming it grows into a PPS it's first growth (altho they have had it grow into a PPS the third stage before,) this isn't their kitty.

That only leaves Lennie. So I believe this will grow up to be a space like cat.

Edit:: Looking back at Ashki past kitties more, I do notice they like to color the ears in a slightly lighter color. So honestly, it's a toss up between them. It matches Ashki's past designs but also they haven't had a first stage PPS growth in awhile. Maybe I've been thinking about this too long. time to go back to my notes

And then the pillows I can't tell. One is the brown sun dog design, sunback, and idk what the other could be. Ties in the sleepy zzz from playing all day with the other growing/grown outcomes, but could be a hint to the design, based off of the items used.

Great find, @Exitium!

When I look at the dressup, it makes me thing swishy’s kitty hasn’t grown yet. We know the kitty is playful based on this dressup, and prefers the day over night because it gets lonely at night around bed time, like most little kitties feel when play time is over and it’s time to sleep, and their favorite activity is Shenanigans and they love pranks and fun. There is also the quote from the Wizard of Oz’s Tin Man about his heart, or lack thereof. I was wondering if maybe the kitty will grow to something without a heart, or maybe it will be made of tin.

I was trying to put these all together not very successfully. But I did stumble on a game called Tin Hearts. The description of this game is “In this whimsical world filled with toys and wonder, you will lead a troop of mischievous tin soldiers on an epic journey using an array of inventive contraptions to guide them towards their destination.” Maybe swishy’s kitty, which has not grown yet, will grow up to be a little soldier!

@General Chaos - I’d completely forgot about the prankster of oz! But I do remember that story! And I was so fixated on the tin man and the heart I didn’t even think of Oz himself! That would be awesome if that’s the case! Now I’m really excited to see swishy’s kitty!

Wow is there a lot to consider.
But...let's get started with my crazy conspiracies shall we?

We shall start with Swishy & Broken



• Their kitty prefers day
• Their kitty get lonely at night
• They like shenanigans/pranks
• A wizard of Oz quote "It was a terrible thing to undergo, but during the year I stood
there I had time to think that the greatest loss I had known
was the loss of my heart."





• Their kitten isn't grown yet.
Reasoning: ALL of their past kitties have line edits done on the second stage of growth + They said "take your time little one" indicating it's not yet grown




Now to get to the theories. We will start with the most...radical

The Prankster of Oz

Shockingly, this is a book! Written by John R Rose this book is the story of a retired farmer, a homeless youngster and a talking mule. They get picked up by a windstorm, and taken to Oz. Two-bit (the mule) had previously been to Oz since he used to be one of Santa's reindeer. On his journeys he had met a man named the prankster. The Prankster had swiped a magic book and was placing spells on different residents of Oz, thinking it was all in good fun. He, of course, was the only one who thought so. They set out to find the book and break the spell.

The wizard

Between the green color palette and the clues, my main guess is the kitty will grow up to be based on the wizard himself. He would be lonely at night, since no one comes to visit at night. Everyone is sleeping. He tricked a whole other world into believing he was a wizard, when he was merely a man. Hence his liking for "pranks and shenanigans." This also follows the dressup, he often requires people to give him things for his services. In Dorothy's case, killing the wicked witch of the west.

Catmother and I are having a dilemma so we are each going to post a theory on tonight's cat lol

Tonight's cat could be Ashki's due to the colored linework, which is similar to their 2018 cat. Also, their cat likes rock collecting and the little crystal hanging off of the kitty's tail could represent that. However, Ashki has never colored the "chickensmoothie.com" tag. Also, they have never used line edits before (unless you count the munchkin kitty). Another theory is that this kitty is Swishy's, which Catmother will post about.

Edit: Ashki has colored the "chickensmoothie" tag before. This cat is seeming more like Ashki's than Swishy's in my opinion.

Tonight’s kitty is a hard one for me to figure out. I go back and forth between Swishy and Ashki with Fluffystar, and so now, I figured I’d try a guess and see what happens - a denial and maybe a chuckle or 2 will do.



So, I ma going to say I think this is Swishy’s not very confidently but still…. This kitty has a metallic sheen to it and also, its eyes are edited, as Swishy tends to do. The tag kind of throws me off since ashki is the one who has done a colored tag. But the gem on the tail makes me think of Emerald, as in the Emerald City (going off of @General Chaos’s post). It is very jeweled up, so I will guess Swishy (and hope Fluffystar is right with her guess of ashki!)
