Ravenwing gave a relieved purr. Exhaustion carried at her paws but she kept her head high. "I'll check in on her later" She meowed quietly to Silversong before bounding out. The clan needed every paw they could, even if she wasn't officially part of the clan yet. She raced past the sleeping Nightshade and ignored Silentpaw as she hissed at her when she past. She arrived just in time to hear Ashpaw.

Ashpaw bared his teeth a bit, his arrogance taking over. "Anyone who here" He waved his til around, "Are the only cats here. No one was in the dens, so you do the math" He blinked his eyes a little to innocently.

Silentpaw sighed at Ashpaw's response. What was she to do with a brother who had trouble with authorities?

Foxpaw's stomach lurched as the yarrow took effect. She whimpered as she emptied her stomach. Once she finished, she curled up into a trembling ball. "I'm never eating anything ever again." she muttered.

Hawkwing growled. Low, but loud enough for Ashpaw to hear. "I wouldn't talk back to a warrior if I were you, maybe PepperStar wont make you one. Maybe she'll banish you. After all, you don't have clan blood." He mewed in a flat tone, not showing any epression. He turned back to the rest of the gathered cats. "All right, now that we know who is here, we should assign duties. Ravenwing, Ashpaw, Sunpaw, you do a border patrol, make sure there are no more badger's left on the territory. Silentpaw, Nightshade, gather sticks and brambles to enforce the barrier."

Ravenwing nodded and bounded over, putting her tail over Ashpaw's mouth before he could speak again. "Don't worry, we'll check everywhere" She promised and glared at the young tom. "And don't talk back to me, I'm not clan yet, so I can lay my paw on you" She growled lowly, and flashed out her paw only to gently rest it on his head with a amused purr at his shocked expression. "Come on Sunpaw" She looked over her shoulder with a smile at the other apprentice.

Ashpaw growled and thought about laid her tail off, but held himself together. "Fine, let's go before the badger's get you" He spit at Ravenwing.

Silentpaw growled at Hawkwing. His last comment had stung her too, as she shared the same blood but she gave a deep sigh and returned to herself. Walking over to her other, she planned to wake her only to find her laying down her head on her paws, her eyes boring into Hawkwing's back. "Actually" She called up to the tom, amusement in her eyes at seeing her son argue, "They are part clan, from their father's side" She purred and pushed herself up. "Let's get some twigs Silentpaw" She nudged her daughter and together they disappeared though the entrance, looking for twigs not far off.

[Wanderer.]

"Coming." Sunpaw hopped to her paws and ran to catch up. "Hey, are you okay?" She meowed seeing how angry Ashpaw was.

Featherflight held herself still, waiting for the okay from Silversong to move.

Ashpaw snarled at the young apprentice. "No! I'm never going to be taken seriously if my mother was a rogue and my father a traitor! Nobody is going to see the warrior I want to be on the inside!" His eyes flashed to Sunpaw's and locked them. "I want to be a warrior, to prove us rogues can have honor too. I want to help my sister because nobody is going to take her seriously if she can't talk and give her opinion. Now we have this fur ball" He said just loud enough for Ravenwing to hear, "Who hates my mother and probably hates us too. I swear almost everyone to here to stand in my way" His gaze dropped to his paws, which was covered with dirt and mud, his temper and sadness brewing.

Ravenwing's ears flickered as she heard the young tom. She gave a sigh. Yes, she hates Nightshade, but does that means she hates the kits? Who carried Nightshade & Dirtclaw's blood? She couldn't seem to decide.

[Wanderer.]

While some cats would have backed off, Sunpaw stepped up. "Okay, I get that your upset, but that doesn't give you the right to hurt anyone else who is completely innocent." She snapped, blue eyes blazing dangerously. "Your not the only one with a hard life you know. Ravenwing lost her whole Clan. She's gone through more then you can imagine. Silentpaw is trying her best to be the great warrior we all know she can be. And you have no idea about being judged because of your past. So yes, life is hard, but remember how lucky you are where others weren't." With that and a lash of her tail she ran ahead without looking back.

Featherflight could hear Sunpaw speaking outside and silently agreed.

Hawkwing ignored Nightshade's comment. Yeah right, he thought to himself, I can't believe PepperStar even let them into the clan! Hawkwing jumped down from the rock and looked around camp for something he could do to help. Seeing nothing he chose to go out into the forest, try and find some of the cats that were missing. "Jayfeather! Shiverear! Nightjar! Wolffang!" He yowled, listing a few from the top of his head.
