I feel like they're over-trading a bit, but I'm not sure. What pets should I ask them to remove if any? (All of the pets they offered are on my WL and the one pet they want is on their WL btw)

If you want to follow rarity math, pets are worth half a pet of the same rarity the previous year. And 2 C = 1 UC, 2 UC = 1 R, so on... For example:
'23 R = .5 '22 R = 1 '22 UC

Then yes, they are overtrading. The otter is probably worth a couple uncommons at most.

Is this fair? If it is does one have better demand?

I can't really tell you if either side has better demand since it's so subjective. I would choose whichever pets you like best. (Again, my only advice is store pets are well liked and have consistent demand)

I think it's slightly under if you just want to use the +2 Method, since it is fairer than demanding thousands of pets.

MA's are terms used to calculate high-value pets on CS (usually some of the oldest pets on the site, from 2008-2010). Store pets are worth things like MAs because they're wanted by a lot of users on CS and are heavily in-demand. Here's the rundown, simply put;

1 Non = 10-12 MA
1 MA = 6-9 2009 Rares

(Use this thread to learn more)

Target dog =2-3 MA

For:
'13 Store Kitsunes = 2 MA

It's fair but it's upto you which pets you like more, and if demand is something you want to consider, the store pets will always have better demand and this only grows as time passes. Usually more-so than pets that are on the "MA" list

The two '12 rares are a fair swap but I believe you'd be overpaying by at least 1 '09 R with the black skull cat. Idk if the lion has demand, but I haven't seen anything about it so I doubt it's trading for more than 1 '09 R.

I know the July PPS and the UR Foal are both worth a solid 1 Non so everything else on their side would have been overpay. Only difference is the UR Foal you have is a TD, which might have been why they chose to add.

If I added everything right it's slightly under for the BEG. I also skipped the fairy foxes, I know they have good demand to some people but I'm unsure what that would be.

Recent store pets can be worth '11 R/ea due to a set amount (being sold for 20 C$/ea and '11 R usually go for 20-25 C$). So it is fair (maybe slightly unfair to them, even, if you do the math) but I'd get a second opinion. The dogs from the Slumber Party event are still pretty popular!
