The cats of FogClan tend to be very good at hiding due to their pelt colors and are excellent swimmers. They usually spend their time around wetlands and water areas, after all it's their place of most comfort.

These cats are often mysterious, quick-thinkers with a heart for creativity. They find it insulting when cats use arts in way that is not to their best efforts. These cats deeply care for their clanmates but are not very friendly to outsiders. They are often rude and quick to hate cats that they don't even know yet.

FogClan cats reside in the lands of the marsh. They prefer to stay in the very center of it, where the fog is most present and it rains the most often. These cats enjoy the constant wet weather in their territory. Most of the time, it's rainy, but it's not rare for it to be just cloudy with no rain. There is rarely a clear sky, especially in leaf-fall and leaf-bare. The cats enjoy crunching on voles, snakes, frogs, small fish, and big fish. Sometimes, cats will fall prey to certain creatures like alligators, hawks, eagles, and some dogs. Cats will get stung by mosquitos very often during greenleaf.

The Clan was founded by a cat of the name Marshdweller. He was a rogue who was jealous of Clanlife and wished to become a Clan cat himself. None of the original four Clans accepted him. He spent his life teaching his children of Clanlife and eventually their family grew. It kept growing until eventually, they considered themselves a Clan. It was called MarshClan. MarshClan was eventually taken over by a hideous, ferocious cat by the name of Burntfoot. Burntfoot took over the group by force, leading them into their demise. Years later, one of Marshdweller's great-grandchildren, Fogfloat, decided to recreate this Clan. They knew they could do it, and so they set out into their old home to recreate the life they once lived, but this time, SpiritClan is on their side.

To honor Marshdweller, these cats usually have names inspired by swamps/marshes/wetland plants, brown/gray/blue colors, and animals that live in swamps/marshes/wetland. They might even be named after the word itself. These cats have many ceremonies as a part of tradition. They host ceremonies every season to honor SpiritClan for giving them a blessed life, ceremonies to celebrate apprentices being promoted, kits becoming apprentices, cats promoted to deputy, deputies promoted to leader, cats being renamed, celebrating surviving a war between them and one or more clans, the birth of kits, and far more. They celebrate a lot because they believe that celebration and ceremonies allow their ancestors and family in SpiritClan get to participate in the living world. What even is SpiritClan? SpiritClan is basically StarClan, but these cats don't have as much control. They don't deliver prophecies very often, and have no control over the world around them. In fact, they aren't allowed to travel down to the living world unless a ceremony, the leader, or medicine cat calls to them. They may also come down to help cats who need wisdom.

Pathfinder - The "leader" of the Clan. The cats don't really consider cats to be their leader, they consider them more of the one they can all trust the Clan's fate with. Leader is actually a term they use for cats that don't listen to their Clan and choose what to do with their Clan purely on their own opinion without input from the Clanmembers.
Stand-in - The deputy.
Curer - Medicine cat. Do not have as close connection to their version of StarClan than the books.

This is just a bad dream, Roseeye tried to convince herself as she fell asleep from tiredness. But the next morning, when she awoke, no one nagged her to get ready for a patrol already, no kittens played in the middle of camp and made a mess...

↪ Fudgetuft's patrol caught +2 voles and +2 rats. Aniseblossom's fur was fluffed up against the cold as Fudgetuft led the patrol south, hoping to find any sort of prey there. At first it went well, with Almondbite and Shrewshimmer discovering a pair of voles and killing both easily. Slatesnap walked up to Aniseblossom, who was watching the thunderpath with curiosity. Ice seemed to have been formed across the top of it. Tiny rocks were sprinkled across the ice, and both young hunters were a bit dumbfounded. Why would twolegs sprinkle rocks across thunderpaths? Wouldn't that hurt their monsters? Slatesnap walked away, intent on hunting, but Aniseblossom stayed. A part of him wished he could speak to twolegs. He had so many questions. A monster was speeding down the thunderpath, but Aniseblossom felt safe. He was a few feet away from the edge of the thunderpath, and he wanted to see if the monster would roar in pain as the tiny rocks penetrated it. The young hunter watched as it roared closer and closer. At this point he could see the face of the twoleg, a calm expression donning their face. A few milliseconds later, that facial expression turned to full panic. The twoleg attempted to gain control of their vehicle, but they had hit an icy spot not yet melted by the road salt. Their vehicle turned and swerved, right into poor Aniseblossom, sending the cat flying to his death.

↪ Nettlestone's patrol caught +2 minnows. After the last patrol Midgestorm is on, she is familiar with blizzards. As snow starts to fall and the wind starts to pick up, she feels adrenaline start to pick up. She gathers up all her patrol mates and leads them to shelter. Once the worst of the blizzard passes, it is obvious that both Ivyshine and Midgestorm herself have hypothermia and will each need one moon of rest, but the patrol has Midgestorm's experience and quick-thinking to thank for their survival.

They administer x1 thyme to Quetzalshine, but the medics know that he has an injury that can never heal. But Rabbitfoot is there for Quartzheart through it all, delivering prey and water-filled moss to his mate whenever needed. As Quartzheart and Rabbitfoot lie together in the medic's den, the scouting captain fills a tinge of hope inside of him.

Not so much during the other seasons but having such good camouflage during the harshest season with little prey was a bonus that Avalanchesplit could take advantage of. The one thing that was detrimental to the tom, though, was his short legs. He had settled for catching prey which he didn't have to run after, such as mice. The white tom was focused on the mouse in front of him. It was a scrawny thing, but prey was prey. As Avalanchesplit prepared to leap, Rookchirp let out a warning cry. He cursed as the mouse scurried away, but as fox scent filled the air, he bristled. The tom looked towards Brightspot, the nearest cat towards him. Her eyes were alight with fear, and she yelled at Avalanchesplit to run. A scream filled the air. Not one of a cat, but of a fox. A second scream followed. Then a third. Avalanchesplit heard a yap behind him and saw a fox staring at him, its cold, black eyes analyzing the tom's every move. The white tom slowly backed away, before he turned around swiftly and ran towards Brightspot. A sharp, sudden jolt of pain caused him to fall to the ground. He looked back at the fox with terrified eyes. Brightspot was hiding up in a tree, and she yelled for him to get up. But Avalanchesplit couldn't. He physically could not. The pain which coursed through his joints was agonizing, and he could do nothing as the slobbering jaws of the fox got closer to him. Then it all went dark.

[size=85]Moons have passed since she left her family behind to start a new Clan. Her mother was furious when she left. She could recall it as if it had happened just a few days prior. She was sitting in the den as her mother groomed her pelt ferociously, when she looked up to meet her mother's gaze.

"Hawk... I have something to tell you." The older she-cat glared down into her dark, amber eyes. It felt as if Hawk was piercing her soul as she looked down frustratedly. Hawk always lived up to her name with those large, yellow eyes. "I'm leaving. I've been living here far too long, and... I want to continue The Great Marshdweller's legacy."

"By the moon! For the last time, Clans always ended in disaster. Remember the old Clans from thousands of moons ago!? I am NOT letting you leave us. Stop this nonsense." Fog looked down at her paws, nervously. "But... Marshdweller would be proud! Just think! We could stand over our enemies with a proud, noble look on our faces and know that cats would appreciate us for once! We would be seen as heroes and could protect SpiritClan's sacred land from our enemies.

Hawk sighed. "We already have enough mouths to feed. I am prohibiting you from leaving! And stop saying SpiritClan. They left us moons ago when Burntfoot destroyed what once was ours. We are no longer living that life. Why do you think the REAL Clans didn't allow Marsh to join? We're not supposed to live that struggle."

Fog sighed and looked into her eyes and then looked down. "Yes, mother..."

Hours later...

She trotted happily across the muddy ground. She was excited to start what was meant to be started. She felt as if Marshdweller's ghost was glancing over her shoulder and smiling at her. The name of MarshClan rung in her ears. But wait... If she named it MarshClan what would it have to remember her by besides her leadership?

She felt a new name would work for a new era. She blinked, her vision seemed to be clouding up! But wait, it wasn't her eyes at all. It was fog. She realized SpiritClan must be telling her something. Of course. She decided FogClan was the best name. It matched her name and the territory.

After maneuvering through the tricky, gloomy marsh, she found the perfect hunting spot. She passed all the fog and sniffed the air. She opened her mouth to allow the scent to sink into the roof of her mouth. She could taste something... Prey, perhaps?

- Thorn is a little worried about the previous patrol with the dog pups. He wants to make sure the adult dogs won't threaten the clan too much over the cats hurting their babies. Despite Malibusky's dissuading, he leads a patrol of volunteers to check out the area closer to the dog pack's territory, but take care not to trespass.
- Thorn apologises to Hawkpaw over her missed training, and promises he will teach her more fighting moves to make up for it. She's slightly pacified by this, hoping to learn more skills she can use to practice on her littermates.
- The trainee gang are more bonded than ever, having grown up together and now getting to learn together. Hickorypaw, who picks things up quickly, helps teach her friends. Ravenpaw gives his siblings much-needed encouragement, especially Owlpaw who is rather afraid to try new things. Windpaw and Fernpaw spend more time together, but entertain the younger trainees with stories of their travels whenever they ask for it. Horizonpaw doesn't train with the other apprentices, but her siblings find time to bond together after a day's activities.
- Flamesight talks to Irispelt about being a Fighter. He thinks his skills are more suited for scouting, but he aspires to be one of the leaders in the future, so he has to be a Fighter first. Irispelt considers his questions, then tells him to perhaps talk to Thorn about it. Flamesight doesn't want to worry the leaders just yet, so he puts off his plans on hold yet again.

malibusky's patrol encounters the same cat from last moon. after a talk with the patrol leader, they end up joining. they are a solid white mediumhair with blue eyes, colored by chamrosh on lines by grey_hoodie. their genotype is Ll / Wd-
thorn's patrol was uneventful until they patrolled the theatre. they find the corpse of a cat with dog bites all over it. despite the horrific site, no dogs attacked them. this time.

softpelt gathered x1 comfrey root
horizonpaw, miragepaw, hawkpaw, windpaw, hickorypaw, ravenpaw, and owlpaw all learn their respective skills
