You can absolutely get more for the 2012 shadow dog, as it's well-liked and it is an older pet. The only pet on their side that can compete with its demand is the lion, but even it is worth way less in value because they are 9 years apart.

The list of pets that the terms MA and NON came from has been disbanded, meaning it is no longer being edited and users don't have to refer to it anymore, but it's still heavily referenced regardless .Now MAs and NONs are just terms for pets that have a higher value than usual (MA = 6-9 '09 R and NON = 10-12 MsA). I recommend refering to this guide for trading high-value pets, it has simplified the whole thing pretty well.

The purple tess horse on your end is worth a solid 0.25 N = 3-4 MA

For:
2 Pink dotted and striped rats = ~1 MA/ea = ~2 MA
Green light dotted rat = ~1 MA/ea
Spotted demonic rat = ~0.5 MA/ea
Total = ~3.5 MA. It's okay. All rats will probably have lower demand than your Tess horse.
