Reminder that characters must be 18-21 - canon characters are only exception.
Hero/villain pairings will be randomised just before the roleplay starts, unless you want to be paired with someone specifically, but it might be more fun to have it random!
Roleplay will start when I feel like there's enough characters - maybe 6 or 7 of each heroes and villains?
Mutants don't have to have just something like pyrokinesis, go creative! Wings, horns, tails, etc are also more than welcome to be added!

Lee-Jae Dai | 19 | Cismale | Villain
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Bisexual
Power/Abilities: Plant Manipulation - He has the ability to control and manipulate plantlife to his will, though he'll notably mainly grow poisonous flowers/plants and thorny vines. He also has leafy, ivy-like vines wrapped around his forearms and lower legs, seemingly permanently.
Poison Touch - While he thrives with plants, unfortunately, any people or animals that he touches with his hands may get poisoned - something that he isn't able to control whether it happens or not. He usually wears sleek white gloves to cover his hands, but sometimes he'll go without them.
Appearance: He has fluffy, dyed, dark blond hair, that used to be black, but then he got bored of it - however, he insists the blond is natural. His eyes are deep brown in colour and are often look very judgmental. He stands at 5'11'', and has an athletic build, and holds himself with an excellent posture. He also usually wears either a silvery-grey, or deep brown eyeliner.

Personality: Lee-Jae is a very self-confident person, who has little regard to what other people think of him... unless they're someone he admires. He's also ambitious, and will strive to get what he wants. He's social, and likes to talk with other people, and is rather fearless, and willing to take risks. He has something of a 'don't care' attitude, but don't take it to mean he doesn't care about something. He's extremely stubborn as well, and doesn't give up or back down - something that becomes a fault of his, especially if he thinks that he's being challenged or undermined. He can be rather dramatic and takes things out of proportion, and he is also quite vain. He can also be viewed as being a bit lazy, because he hates getting up early and would do almost anything for an extra five minutes of sleep. If you're able to stand him for longer than a few minutes and manage to even become one of his friends, then you'll find that Lee-Jae is fiercely loyal and much warmer towards you.

Short Bio: Lee-Jae grew up in South Korea with his parents, right up until the age of 13, when his parents moved to the US to stay with his terminally ill aunt to help support her and the cousins. After she died when Lee-Jae was 16, the family decided to stay in the US, since his parents had started up a business a short while after arriving that was - and still is - thriving. It was about this time that his mutant abilities inhabited themselves, much to everyone's surprise. He struggled to control his powers at first - he still does, but not as much as he used to - until he was approached by a mysterious man that offered to help him train his abilities. He was taught that the world hates mutants like him, and therefore, it was in Lee-Jae's best interest to 'fight back' against normal humans, especially as his powers could easily do more harm than good, and so he would be hated more. Deciding he wanted approval and to prove himself, against the humans he was - as well as the heroes that he was told would be trying to stop him and were against them.
He was captured by a team of heroes from Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters during one of his attacks on a town, and now he's here to be reformed.

Kendall Howard | 21 | Nonbinary | Hero

Power/Abilities: Sound Manipulation - Kendall is able to silence or amplify sounds by manipulating sound waves. This means they could walk silently, no matter what they stepped on, or perhaps amplify a far-off conversation so they could hear what is being said - especially good for recon. They can also manipulate soundwaves to be an attack - like a pulse of sound energy, rather than aiming to deafen someone.
Telepathy - Kendall is able to speak to others with telepathic communication, but only to those within range - about 30 feet. This is particularly useful, given they are mute.
Appearance: Kendall's hair is black and long, currently braided in a protective style. Their eyes are dark brown in colour, almost black-looking in darker lighting. They stand at 5'10", and have an athletic build that is on the slightly thinner side. Kendall's skin is dark, and is mostly clear, aside from a pale birthmark on the back of their shoulder, in the vague shape of a heart. They also have a small nose ring, and both earlobes are pieced.

Personality: Kendall may first appear to be quiet and withdrawn - particularly with new people - but once you get to know them, then you will realise that this is not quite the case. Kendall is very much, in fact, a people-person, and loves meeting new people. They are confident and outgoing, and is usually the one to first start a conversation. However, Kendall is also not afraid to speak their mind... especially to people that are rude to them or ask invasive questions about them. They can also hold quite the grudge against someone that has done them wrong, and is not above giving the cold shoulder when annoyed. They also prefer to think things through and have a solid plan in place, rather than doing things spontaneously, quickly getting anxious if they don't know what the plan is or what is going on. They could be seen as uptight in this regard, especially as they frequently urge others to 'follow the rules', but Kendall does know how to let loose and have fun... provided there's a plan for it.

Short Bio: Kendall's parents are initially from England, though they moved to the US when Kendall was two, as part of a new business venture. They were not always mute, but when their ability manifested at the age of 9, they became unable to speak. Their ability was quite out of control to start with, especially as they didn't understand what was happening. However, after being found and taken to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, they were quite happy to begin studying there. They learnt and gained control and understanding of their abilities, as well as new ways to communicate - including their telepathic ability, which manifested while they were at the School. Now they are older, one of the top students, Kendall is part of a hero team and part of the new programme to try and reform young villains.

Cassius Rouleau | 20 | Cismale | Hero

Sexuality: Bisexual
Power/Abilities: Flight - Cassius has a beautiful pair of large, peacock butterfly wings on his back, which are much sturdier than typical butterfly wings, and he is able to use them to fly. He can also beat his wings to create strong gusts of wind.
Superhuman Strength - He can hold/carry objects several times heavier than the average human is able to, as well as being able to break certain objects if he punches them - though it means he has to be very careful not to break something like a door when simply opening and closing it.
Appearance: Cassius has short, very dark brown hair that's usually brushed back a little. His eyes are hazel-green in colour. He stands at 5'10'', but his semi-formal posture makes him seem a little taller. He has a somewhat muscular build, and a fair skin tone. He has a light stubble on his face. He also has a pair of large, peacock butterfly wings coming out of his back, which he can fold down against his back.

Personality: Though he's friendly, energetic and confident, Cassius sometimes comes across as rather brash and condescending. He is used to being popular and well-liked, no matter what, and so if he comes across someone that doesn't seem to like his for whatever reason, he'll be quite confused about it, and assume that the person that doesn't like him is jealous. He can be quite rude and teasing towards those that he doesn't like, and does consider himself better than most other people. Still, a lot of people still like him because of how friendly and charismatic he generally can be, and he's very intelligent. Sure, he could absolutely do with mellowing out his ego, but he is unfortunately very good at what he does, which does make him feel quite validated in how confident he is in himself.

Short Bio: Cassius was something of a late bloomer in terms of his abilities. He grew up in a large family, the middle one out of five siblings, and so it was always difficult to stand out - especially as his parents were often rather busy to pay much attention, often leaving the care of the siblings to a few nannies that they'd employed. And then, at the age of 12, he woke up after an uncomfortable, almost sleepless night, to find he had... wings? And it wasn't long before he'd accidentally take his bedroom door off its hinges just by opening it. Naturally, it wasn't long before he was found and invited to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Finally, he was at a place where he had some real attention. And as he learnt to fly and fold back his wings, as well as figuring out how to take care with his strength, his popularity grew. Eventually, once he was old enough, he'd train more to be part of a hero team, which he took seriously and made sure to train hard to prove himself and excel. He was an integral part in capturing the young villains that are now part of the reformation programme.

Rhett Kendrick | 19 | Cismale | Villain
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Bisexual
Power/Abilities: Psionic Energy Manipulation - he can create beams and blasts of psionic energy that can be used as a weapon, or he can briefly form shields with it. The energy manifests itself as a dark green colour. He can also release a large blast of energy all at once, but this is very draining.
Telekinesis - he can also move inanimate objects, provided they aren't rooted into the ground (like a house). The larger/heavier the object, the more energy and focus it requires from him. The energy that surrounds the object(s) he's moving is also dark green.
Appearance: Rhett has mid-brown hair that is slightly longer on top, and usually swept backwards, and his eyes are a foresty-green colour and have a hooded shape. He stands at 6'0'', and has a somewhat relaxed posture, though definitely not slouchy. Rhett has a fair-slightly tanned skin tone. He also has two scars - one on the back of his right hand, and another on his left thigh.

Personality: Cold, sharp and unfriendly, Rhett is someone that people tend to avoid if they don't want to want to run the risk of him verbally lashing out at them, even if it's unprecedented. He's honestly unpleasant to be around most of the time, especially as he is not interested in even trying to be friendly with anyone. He does tend to make judgments from first impressions as well, and it is difficult to have him change his mind about you once he's decided whether or not he likes you. However, despite all of that, Rhett surprisingly does have a friendlier side to him. Anyone that happens to actually get on his good side and he likes will find that he is more pleasant - certainly more so than normal - and will be nicer and more patient. Additionally, anyone that Rhett is close with will find that he is incredibly loyal and protective - and he'll become vengeful towards anyone that hurts those that he's close to.

Short Bio: Rhett grew up moving around a lot, his parents staying in the same town for barely more than a year at a time. Maybe they were on the run from something. Or maybe they were chasing after something. Or perhaps they just liked to keep things changing. Regardless, Rhett never really found the point in making any sort of meaningful connections with others, since he knew that he'd be leaving them anyway.
His ability manifested at the age of 9, much to his shock. Further to his surprise, both of his parents revealed that they were also Mutants, and he'd inherited his father's ability. They trained him in secret, rather than sending him to Xavier's School, simply because they didn't trust it and instilled that belief into Rhett. And then, the event that made him a villain. He had a partner, and was with them for six months. He was very close to them, feeling like they were the only one they trusted and got close to. Until his partner was killed by a hero mutant. It was an accident, but Rhett didn't care. He became vengeful and sought out heroes to destroy. He was recently captured by heroes after losing his focus for just a moment too long during the fight, which the heroes used to overpower him.

Shadow manipulation, control, creation, whatever- it's pretty harmless...he can make animal shaped shadows, and also hide in the shadows but it really only works if he wears dark colors...otherwise, you can still obviously see him, and it doesn't work if there's any light.
Appearance:
Tanned skin, pretty but handsome, pretty eyes, dark hair that isn't long but isn't too short either.
He has a variety of clothes but seems most fond of grays and darker colors.

Personality:
Taae is a sweet and sensible but stubborn and hard headed young man. He knows what he should do, but sometimes he questions it. He is helpful, kind, caring, and playful. However, he has bouts of shyness, too quiet, nerves, and some anxiety. He can be wild and loud...but he's also gentle and quiet as well. He can seem cold if angered and withdrawn if upset. However, it isn't too easy to anger him that bad. He likes to help others or try to anyway, and will be a shoulder to lean on and listen to ones troubles. He can seem like a baby when he's sick...and be cuddly if sick, scared, lonely, or in cat form. He doesn't like loud sounds or sudden movements...He's also intelligent, talented, artsy, and good at music.

Short Bio:
Born to Singg and Vera, he had a pretty good life. They moved from their home to the US when he was twelve years of age. He has one other sibling only, and loves her dearly. Her name is Una, and she is only six years old at the moment. His powers manifested and were out of control...well, as much as a cat power can be. He would constantly transform if sick, frightened, over excited or angered bad. He was sent to the school. He's been here since, and discovered the shadow power too, and is now part of the new program.

Healing- self explanatory, but she can only heal things to a certain degree, so not like...life threatening terrible wounds.
Echolocation- it's only so useful...it basically helps her 'see', and know where objects are.
Appearance:
Tanned skin, pretty girl with full lips and long lashes, as well as blind brown eyes and long straight hair she parts instead of having bangs. Her hair is dark in color, and she has a variety of clothes from which she can pick anything. Her favorite colors seem to be reds and pinks, and she likes flower patterned stuff as well, and yes she can remember these. She can use her echolocation to form a sort of picture of stuff, so she still knows what kinds of clothes she has.

Personality:
Nami is sweet and sensible, playful and down to earth. However, she can be stubborn and hard headed, as well as seeming cold if angered and being withdrawn if upset. She doesn't alphas listen...but tried to be helpful. She can be wild and loud, but also too quiet at times and deep in thought. She likes to be around others. She also values alone time, when she wants to be alone. She wants to listen to others and try to help if they have problems. She can also be nervous and worry a bit.

Short Bio:
Born to Mo and Amelie, she has three other siblings. Her siblings are called Bennie, Gin, and Hiro, and they are all older than her. They were twelve, nine, and six when she was born. They all loved her except Hiro since he was the baby when she came along...He wasn't really a baby, and he got over it. He learned to love her too, and became quite protective of her. She wasn't blond until she turned eight...Then an accident happened, and she doesn't really like talking about it. She discovered her powers, and was sent to the School. She had the echolocation already. She discovered the healing while she was already here. She wants to be friends with Kendall but doesn't know if she can...and now she is part of this new program.

She has a seeing eye dog for her parents' peace of mind, despite her literal power.

Power/Abilities: She can jump really high, stretch and bounce like rubber. She's very new to being a hero so she is still developing and discovering her abilities and powers.
Appearance: Essentially, her body is made of a rubbery, bouncy, material. Her hair is a blondish-brown and her eyes tend to shift from blue to green to blueish green depending on her mood, energy levels, and other factors of that nature. The brighter her eyes, the more energy and motivation the has. The darker they are, the less motivation, energy and happiness they are feeling. They are short in stature, lovably chubby, and likes to wear clothes that make them feel strong and comfortable.

Personality: Boisy is energetic, determined, and just about as hyperactive as they come. She is loyal to her team and those she cares for, often to the point of wearing herself down but always has good intention. She can be impulsive, quick to act without thinking, and doesn't tend to "look before they leap" as one may say. However, she is friendly, energetic, overall, wants to be liked and accepted as who she is.

Short Bio: Boisy never really had parents or anyone to care for her through her upbringing. Her own parents gave her up once they discovered she "wasn't like the other children". This was crushing to her but also filled her with an unquenchable fire to prove them and all her "haters" wrong. Boisy has definitely bounced around through different care takers and the like but she has never let that stop her before! Though the past still haunts her at time, she is considering this as a fresh, new, start to new adventures and opportunity.
