I got a couple extra of this in my adopts

Has it been revealed what the dragons are based off yet?

Also absolutely adore the designs from this world ocean day, the artists have done a remarkable job!! <3

The designs are purely abstract and inspired by a mix of fish and moray eels. At most I'd say I followed a loose theme for each one: Tropical fish, seaweed and deep sea.

Same, I'm so glad there's finally a manatee-inspired pet on CS!

I actually think it's a dugong. Manatees live in freshwater or brackish water but not in the ocean. Dugongs on the other hand do live in the ocean
But... You know.. Close enough and I adore him <3

It's a West Indian Manatee/North American Manatee. It blew my mind when I found out there were saltwater manatees since I've always been used to the species native to my country(amazonian manatee), but two manatees species are able to move back and forth between fresh and saltwater without much issue, and Florida Manatees are specially known to thrive in the sea, albeit always sticking to the coast in shallow waters.

Also, you can tell manatees from dugongs by the tail. Manatees have the rounded, paddle shaped tail, while dugongs have a fluke shape like a dolphin.

The green dragon in particular was very inspired by the yellow-head moray eel ^^.
