2017 store pets go for 1-2 09 Rares, so this is very unfair to you.

Honestly year differences are super varied in how people calculate fairness. There are two proposed ways to do year math on rarity threads, the x2 per year and the +2 per year. Ive found most users use neither when it comes to commons and just go off demand.

All pets on their side have significant more demand than the chicken(event pets and staff litter). I dont think youll get a better offer for that chicken unless you do a litterswap.

Edit: but to answer the question. According to rarity math without demand, the chicken is worth 12 to 64 2021 commons and theyre offering 6.5 2021 commons. Demand could inflate that 6.5 anywhere from 9c to 18c. (Ive seen that uncommon go for a 22 rare. ) so basically its up to you to decide how to value your year gaps and the demand values.

Unfair to you. A pet in the 2-1 rule has its value doubled for every year older than it. For example:

A '15 common=2 '16 commons
2 '16 commons=4 '17 commons
4 '17 commons=8 '18 commons
8 '18 commons=16 '19 commons
And so on.

The 2-1 rule can get out of hand fast but its a widely accepted way to trade pets

If you want the pets they're offering for that chicken, the best thing to do is slowly trade the chicken down year by year. Most players will not trade 16 '19 commons for one '15 chicken so slowly trading down is the only way to get the full value of your pet realistically.

Timberwolves = 1.5-2 MA/ea = 3-4 MA
Dark Wood Dogs = 1 MA/ea = 2 MA
Total= 7-8 MA

Orange Punk = 0.5 N = 10-12 MA
Santa Hat rat = 1 MA
Rose rat = 1-1.5 MA
Total = at least 12 MA

Only the RBM has a value outside of its normal rating. The single-colored mane horses are originally from 2009, so they'd be worth 2-4 '09 R depending on whether you follow the 2:1 or 4:1 ratio. So 2 '09 R + 1 '10 R is pretty fair for it!
