Background: Softheart had an eventful apprenticeship, praised as one of the best hunters that the clan had ever raised. She was friends with the other apprentices and she plus her four best friends all became Warriors at the same time. She fell in love with one of them, a young molly named Lilaceyes. They had a kit together, Ladybirdkit. At 30 moons Softheart felt like she had it all: love, a child, and good status in the clan. She followed a patrol to the thunderpath and everything changed. They were careful to dodge Monsters, but one kicked up some kind of caustic liquid as it passed. The liquid shot into Softheart's eyes and instantly blinded her. The medicine cat did all they could, but her vision was gone. Not to mention how awful it hurt! The acid ate away at her face as well, leaving extensive scarring.
She was reluctantly retired to the Elder's Den, unable to hunt or fight any longer. She fell into a depression, and her daughter felt neglected because of it. Once she was an apprentice, Ladybirdkit disappeared one day and never came back. Softheart was inconsolable. Her mate did everything she could to console her and look for their kit. One day while Lilaceyes was looking for Ladybirdpaw, she caught her scent on the border. She knew she shouldn't, but she wandered into Wildclan territory looking for the kit. She was found by Wildclan cats and killed in a skirmish between the two clans.

Now Softheart was all alone. She grieved for many moons, for the loss of her kit, the loss of her vision, the loss of her mate, the loss of her leader. Moosestar became leader and it was the first thing she had to celebrate since all of the loss. She became softer hearted as apprentices took care of her, and soon she was a different cat. One who was optimistic and kind. Moosestar gave her the new name Softheart, for how sweet she was on the many apprentices. Sometimes she still gets hit by melancholy, and most nights you can hear her crying softly. She's a ray of sunshine during the day, and all of the rain at night. This is because the apprentices are long past asleep at that hour.

There isn't a cap on queens and kits, as those can happen naturally during the roleplay. However - please don't make any queen-less kits.

I will be flexible with the warrior cap on a case-by-case basis; such as if someone was going to make an a sibling for an existing character.

Also - someone did accidentally post their form for one warrior on the roleplay thread, and if they move their form over to this thread, they will be accepted. Additionally someone over PM might be joining as well, and of course I'll extend the warrior cap as they were invited to join before warriors closed.

To even things out a little, I did add two new characters to my post! A "queen" named Foxcloud, and her "son," Ashkit. At this point in time nobody knows that Ashkit is actually her nephew and assumes Foxcloud was the mother who just couldn't produce milk. This will definetly be coming out in the roleplay, so stay tuned for that excitement! If anyone wanted to make her brother, Ashclaw, as a loner, that would be welcomed!

Kit Life
Foxcloud was raised in TranquilClan alongside her brother, Ashkit. She and Ashkit were as close as close could be - she and her brother were the best of friends. The two were isseperable. Overall, Foxkit was a very happy, cheerful kit. She was always first to offer comfort to others.

Apprentice life
When Foxkit became Foxpaw alongside Ashpaw, she was overjoyed. Foxpaw adored her mentor, and tried her best in her training. She was a bit spacy, and had difficulty keeping her focus on the task at hand, but she would never give up. She and her brother spent a lot of time together, determined to be the best warriors they could be. Very quickly, though, Foxpaw realized she had a distaste for fighting - she would much rather hunt than defend her Clan, though if it came down to it, she knew she would have to unsheath her claws. Foxpaw firmly belived nothing could be solved without words.

Warrior + life
Foxpaw earned the name Foxcloud in honor of her compassionate, passive disposition. The she-cat was named alongside her brother, who had been given the name Ashclaw. For moons, Ashclaw and Foxcloud enjoyed life as warriors, without anything eventful taking place. Foxcloud was happy with her life - there was nothing she would change.
One night, Ashclaw asked Foxcloud to accompany him on a walk. His tone and pace were urgent, and Foxcloud quickly grew concerned. Ashclaw led the she-cat off of the territory. There, she was shocked to discover that Ashclaw was hiding a secret mate. A kittypet named Dolly, the she-cat had gotten pregnant by her brother, and was in the process of kitting. Foxcloud insisted he knew nothing about kitting, and would be able to help in no way, but Ashclaw told her that he couldn't trust the Clan's medicine cat to keep a secret. In horror, Foxcloud stood by her brother's side as a silent comfort as Dolly delivered his kits.
When it was all said in done, only one of the three kits delivered lived. A tiny little gray tom, very similar in color to Ashclaw. For a few hours, Foxcloud stayed with the pair as they grieved their kits, though Dolly was growing weaker and weaker. Eventually the queen lost her life, having had complications with the kitting. Ashclaw's grief was deepened, and Foxcloud's heart broke for him.
Almost in a panic, Ashclaw nudged the kit towards Foxcloud. "I can't go back," his grief-stricken mew announced. "Please, you have to take my son back to the Clan. He should be raised as a warrior." Foxcloud begged her brother not to go. Ashclaw, however, was too ashamed of his actions to return to TranquilClan. With a heavy heart, Foxcloud lifted the tiny kit, and hurridly made her way back to camp.
Once she had arrived, Foxcloud headed straight to the medicine cat's den, all eyes turning towards her, and Moosestar quick on her heels. Foxcloud announced she had been hiding a pregnancy, and as she only had one kit, it hadn't been noticeable. She told Mothtumble and Moosestar that her milk hadn't come in, and she was desperate to save her only child. While the situation was odd, Mothtumble looked the kit over and Foxcloud was moved to the nursery, and her brother's child was nursed by another queen.
Foxcloud named her "son" Ashkit, after the father he would never meet. Foxcloud has been raising Ashkit as her own for six moons, her secret known by no other cat.

Kit Life
Ashkit doesn't know the unfortunate circumstances that led to his birth. As far as the young tom is aware, he was born to Foxcloud, who refuses to reveal his father. Ashkit often quetions this, though Foxcloud won't budge, insisting he's better off not knowing. As far as he knows Foxcloud is his mother. He's finally reached six moons, and is eagerly looking forward to his apprentice ceremony.

@Poppy- go for it! He's just a big gray tom, taking after their father's lineage. Dolly, the deceased mother of Ashkit, was a silver tabby. You can create whatever kind of history around their relationship you'd like, though my take on it was that they were very much in love, though he wasn't willing to leave the Clan to be with her. He only did so out of shame, not being able to bear the thought of walking into camp with a kit born to himself and an outsider on top of the grief he already felt over losing Dolly and two of their kits. He and Foxcloud were very close, so I'm sure it's painful for both of them to be seperated, and I'd wager Ashclaw is even more heartbroken being away from his son.
