how many of you guys hoard items and if u do whats your favorite way of displaying them? :0 i wanna display my totem pieces and paper snowflakes but im not sure how to go about it

Totally depends on the item.
But as I have mostly 20 pet hoards, I try to combine them.

For some plushies, I wanted to display them as they are, so I hid the pet underneath:


Of course some plushies are too small, then I use them somewhere around the pet, especially when the item is based on an actual pet like Christmas plushies or animal eggs:


Or it's just a perfect fit for the pet itself:


Whenever I hoard costumes, I use them as such, but it might take some time until I find the perfect pet. I often complete item hoards way before I actually use them:


My coin item hoard however is on a single pet, because... well... doesn't it look fabulous like this? =)


And then there are totally random item hoards which I complete and then look for good pet options.

I have one, but haven't updated it since like.... 2016? 2014? back when you couldn't layer below the pet itself and I can't remember when that was. I have many more now but just haven't gotten around to it :')

I love yours so much - you actually have space to have single coins lying around hahaha. X'D
Don't even trade for the coin items anymore, I got 903 on the dog and only 4 unused ones, hm... now that I think about it, I shouldn't have stopped until after I've gotten to 1k OTL oh well.

There are a lot of beautiful or funny items, which look even better when on a pet... in a hoard group... >:D



Did I ever think about putting the red glitter on a green fox? No.
Does it now look very mushroom-y and fits very well? Heck yes. I still need to dress up the other foxes in the group but uh. Soon.

Remember when I said I wasn't going to start a new hoard, 4 days ago? And than I started my zebra hoard? (That's almost to 100! Thank you @sky, for all your help!)

Well NOW Raire has me over here GAWKING at their stuffie hoard. It's just so dang cute so...I present to you...because of Raire... *Drum roll please*

The start of my stuffie hoard which I think is named exactly what it should be. Which includes now hoarding this years Easter egg pets. They are perfect for some smaller stuffies.

Also - @sky, I totally get what ur saying about the skeles being hard to trade for. I've been trying to get you as many as I can but they are hard to find let alone trade for? You have the kind of patience with a hoard that I need LOL

o.o ..... I LOVE it. I have been stalking your hoards for a while now and you always come up with good ones. I have a dino stuffy hoard. But it is just because I was nesting before my son was born haha. It quickly died after that. c: Maybe I'll continue it sometime. I usually have a hard time with trading for items. I don't know what is fair... I just accept? I could've been scammed the whole time LOL.

HAHAHA I love the group name. That made me laugh out loud. Also, no problem! I have been super stressed lately and having my ADHD brain focus on a bunch of stuff at once calms me down. Thanks for giving me a task lol.

And yes... It's frustrating. But I have found that pets come in spurts. If you have a couple hoards running, at least one will always be doing well at a time. I'm debating on copying Raire and cutting down on the numbers. I usually hoard 100 pets... but I have so many hoards that it is killing my fodder. But.. I probably won't lol.

I am starting my frog hoard back up.. I am going to try and make it to 10000. 1 was easy-ish? I don't know. I am fine with it taking a while though. I love that lineart. I have been wanting them to make toads too...

My Tigger hoard is doing well! I think I am gonna stay away from the storepets in both hoards. If there are any giraffe pets I am missing, let me know.

OH! I am going to expand my penguin dog hoard. Once I hit 200, I think I am going to get 200 of each other penguin pet litter c: That one will be big. I still have to look through the archive for those c:

Aw, so cute! I usually value them as an uncommon pet from the same month/year, but it can vary with very popular items (usually nature/plushies), since they never get rereleased. On the other hand a lot of users also don't use items at all and trade them all away, but you have to find those first... honestly, store or token items are my favourites, because I can just buy a bunch of them *lol*

It is definitely easier if you have many hoards which are just 20s. It also made me decide to continue with some hoards that are seemingly impossible to trade for, only because of the small number.
But it's very satisfying to look at a big group of 100+ pets too! Good luck with your bigger hoards :>

Just gonna slide this in here I personally love to hoard a lot of items for dress ups especially plushies plants and scenery and clearly a lot of food hoards to lol I endlessly hoard a lot of things I wanna complete my item collection so I can update my items wishlist to all my hoard items
