I was thinking this tbh. It's super distracting for me and I mentioned earlier too, it takes up a lot of the screen, especially with a good portion of the top of the screen is taken up by the CS banner and another ad...

I guess they decided to try it out? I know CS is probably not very high in revenue but there has to be better ways than this..

for me, its mobile and not desktop. CS already has ads so I hope this isn't a permeant thing

I usually have CS exempt from my Adblocker, because I want ya'll to get that ad revenue, but now I've turned it on because of these super annoying ads. I don't mind the regular ads, but these pop ups are horrible. Hope this wasn't an intentional decision as I can see it backfiring badly.

they disappeared for me for a while but seem to be back again, i guess i have to turn my adblock on, they are just too distracting..

Yeah I'm having every single ad now appear at the bottom of my screen and it's super freakin annoying. I can hit the v to get it to go out of the way but only until I go to the next page >:/
Dunno what changed but I really hope they put this back to how it was.

They're gone for me now and I hope they don't come back. Would be really nice to hear from staff to understand why this is happening all of a sudden!

yea im getting a huge pop up ad at the bottom of my screen now. its extremely annoying. not to mention if this stays around for events it will block the banners that you have to click and you risk clicking the ads. super up in your face too.
