Background ✧ Sparktail was always trying to prove himself. He wanted to make his family proud and not be a disappointment, but he always went about it the wrong way. Such as, when he was a young kit he wanted to prove he was ready to be an apprentice, so he disobeyed the rules to stay in camp and snuck along with a patrol. When he was caught, he was scolded greatly. However, that never stopped Sparktail from trying too hard in all the wrong ways. He has always felt the need to keep up a front that he's a happy guy and nothing goes wrong for him.

Background ✧ Daisypaw and her littermate, Stonepaw, were born into Sunclan after her mother had taken on a kittypet mate. The clan allowed her to have her kits in Sunclan, under the condition she never meets with her mate again. However, as Daisypaw and Stonepaw were soon to become trainees, Silverfur left the clan to be with their father. She never understood why her mother was so interested in the kittypet life, perhaps because it was much easier than clanlife. Daisypaw saw her mother as weak and selfish, she then looked up to her uncle, Eagleclaw, who had chased her out of the territory when she decided to leave.

Background: Beetlenose was born to two cats from an outside clan who was struck with plague. When he was just a kit, he and his brother were brought to Sunclan territory and abandoned in hope that they would find a better life. He had to prove himself at first, but no one in Sunclan could fault an innocent kit. His natural slow reaction time made him an awful hunter, and he made a difficult apprentice for a while. It wasn't until the medicine cat noticed his natural talent for healing that things started to look up for Beetlepaw. He became a medicine cat apprentice and never looked back.
He's still the last cat you want hunting for food, but he pulls his own weight in other ways. Beetlenose has been known to mind kits for maids when they need a break - he's obsessed and would make a great father some day.

Background: Ladybirdflutter was born to two Duskclan cats and raised up uneventfully. When she reached her trainee age, she was out with her mentor and a hawk spotted the young dappled cat. She was snatched up by strong talons that ripped across her body. Starclan had bigger plans for this hawkfood, though, and the hawk dropped her from a painful height. The medicine cat fussed over her for moons until she was able to stand on her own again. The new chapter of her life began with a searing pain that ebbs and flows. Sometimes she's so stiff in the morning that she looks permanently frozen in a yowl. She was determined this wouldn't define her life, though, and worked extra hard to be just as good as the other trainees. Though it took some extra moons, she passed her assessment and went on to become an Elite Warrior; proof that she was not defined by her injuries.

Background: Dooly was born to two cats from an outside clan who was struck with plague. When he was just a kit, he and his brother were brought to Sunclan territory and abandoned in hope that they would find a better life. Feverkit was accepted by the clan and went on to become Feverpaw. During his training, he found himself lured further and further away from clan life. A pair of twolegs found him on the edge of Sunclan territory one day and took him home. He settled into life as a kittypet easily. He became a barn cat for the couple and would go on to prefer it to clan life. He misses his brother sometimes, but hears he's doing well. Sometimes he wanders into Sunclan or Duskclan territory, but remembers every time that he chose a life different than theirs.
