i wasn't gonna draw something for kirby's thirty-first anniversary 'cause i have to focus on other actually important things, but then i started getting anxious about not celebrating my biggest special interest in any way so i just quickly drew this. a little late & i gotta adjust the bg elements a bit 'cause i now realize my art just don't look as good as it does when i'm currently drawing it 'cause of the slight quality crunch when uploading, but Eh. i'll worry about that later

also! cool epic tip, u can actually fix some of the crunchiness using this trick!

1. right click to open the image in a new tab once it's posted (you can also use "copy image link", then paste it in a new tab)

2. look at the image url, and change where it says "auto" to "png"!


3. hit enter, & you should see a significant improvement in quality!! ^^

[if you're on mobile, it can be a little tricky getting just the image to open in a new tab, usually it only lets me when i'm at the posting screen, but not after the art is posted. for this, you can hit colored in & post an exact copy, then just exit off the page once u have the image!]

thanks ! i really enjoy making drawings like this. gotta love how good chicken paint's watercolor brush & the pencil brush when set to low opacity/high spacing is, it's very fun to color with :3

oh wow ty ! ! i kinda knew that trick before, but i only did it when i wanted an oekaki drawing to be transparent. very neat to notice the difference in quality !
& not to sound too serious but i appreciate that you acknowledged that my silly special interest is important to me :3 i've loved kirby for years & it's very dear to my heart i just wanna know & celebrate everything about it, but a lot of ppl in my life don't get it & even downplay my interest in it -.-'

YAAH its super helpful even if u dont intend for art 2 b transparent! i used ur artwork when i was getting the screenshot & it was rlly cool to see all the lil details u added to this suddenly pop so much more! >3<

& awe of course!!! i totally understand somethin being so important to you, i've always been interested in kirby but never rlly knew how to get into it, so i always enjoy seein ur kirby artwork!! >3< im sorry ppl downplay that 3: it's a rlly nice feeling to have a media ur rlly passionate about!
