close. There are two rules you MUST follow.

its the once the pokemon faints (once) it is considered dead. You cant use it. You can either box it or release. No fighting with it. A white out is considered game over.

and you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter in each area. exceptions are shinies and legendaries although you may not use legendaries to fight.

a common rule most people go by is nicknaming their pokemon. They say it increases the bond between trainer and pokemon.

its fun, but saddening all the same.

The rules i'm using is:

~ Each pokemon gets 3 chances. Can faint 3 times before its gone (replaces the 1 chance, faint and its gone)
~ Can only capture FEMALE pokemon (replaces the first pokemon in each route)
~ Any male pokemon gifted can be kept for a maximum of 2 gyms

I know its not the main rules, so my stster has taken to calling it a "Girls rule at baseball"

It came from only girls can be caught and there are 3-strikes-and-your-out in baseball

My team is:

Lyra; female Tepig, level 12
Sallx; female Lilipup, level 10
Alpha; female Patrat, level 10
Tetra; female Purrloin, level 9
RELEASE; male Pansage, level 10 To Be Released after first gym

oh well. Eeveelutions are the beset. which is why black and white was sooo dissapointing. thats why i didnt go and buy it cuz it didnt have eeveelutions. i think they tried making up for it with the sawbucks but alas, they didnt. eevee and its evolutions are probably by far the most favorited pokemon out there mostly cuz there is something for everyone. (just wish they made more)

Eh, I personally did not like Glacion or Leafon AT ALL. Didn't like the design or anything. Um, there are a few Pokemon I really love in Black/White. :B And the graphics are kick ass. I mean, after 451 Pokemon, it's hard to get something original that people will like. I mean, they're still making a lot of money from the cards and other games still. -shrug- Whether I like it or not, I still got it because I mean... it's Pokemon. It's one of the few things of my childhood that hasn't changed, it's nostalgic. XD I'll always follow the games for that. P:

I agree on the leafeon part 10 fold. But Glaceon, i have come to love. My best friend had me make her a pokesona and wanted Glaceon as the base.

i liked leafeon.I thought it was pretty. Yeah glaceon was kinda a downer. i caught a male and im like WHAT! this cant be a dude its to girly. My lest fav was jolteon it was, kind of lame in the design sense. Yeah I've played my BFF's black, i love how the pokemon can follow you! The features and stuff are amazing. Looking at the new pokemon, yeah, alot were good. Some were kind of fail though. (like those garbage things. I kill them all the time when i play) I probably woulda bought it anyway, if i hadnt spent all my money on an ipod touch, new headphones, sims, zoo tycoon(luv that game) and some software to make animals for zootycoon(i haz lil pokemon in mah zoo!) i guess some of the features in the new game are what make it so exciting compared to the last. the graphics arent much better, kinda pixelly and not much different other than the buildings and stuff how it looks when you walk and the "3d-ness" of it. aw well, ill wait for the next gen. besides, i fail at beating the main point in the game. the only one i ever did complete the main point of was diamond simply cuz i liked laughing at their dumb hair.

Jolteon was a bit plain, but I loved it. X3 Then again, I really love electric Pokemon. And ya, wth are those garbage things? XD They're so awkward. o3o AND I PLAY ZOO TYCOON TOO (off topic). And I mean, it's Pokemon, of course it's still pixels. Still, it's much better than before, and the music. I mean, when you think how far it's come since the original Yellow....
