"AAAAH! I don't wanna drown again!" Silver yelled out in fear, though quickly shushed by Duarte's paw on his back. "Calm down, lad! You're already a mergoo, you can't drown!" SIlver paused. "Oh right." When the two goobies had gotten over their initial shock, they found the location familiar- they had been here much longer than they had been on land. They looked over to the rest of the group, making sure they were alright as well. Duarte wouldn't say it, but he'd already decided that if something were to happen, he'd be the second line of defense alongside Davey Jones. Seemed fitting enough. The minor gob of the depths, Davey Jones, and the infamous demigob Goobeard, Duarte Teach. Both terrifying names protecting a group for the sake of the good pirate Calamity Jason. It sounded like the most piratical thing he could think of. He swam along with the group casually, keeping an eye out for any danger as they followed Davey's currents. Silver was still clinging to his tentacles. "Silver. Lad, I need those. You can swim too, you're a betta fish, remember?"

"Oh, right. Guess I forgot that too."

Arcus hums happily as he follows behind Charybdis as their group heads towards the crumbling sandcastle.

Just the sight of it is enough to have Arcus imagining all sorts of wonderful treasures hidden inside. Even the path to the building, albeit run down, would also have been a sight to behold.

From gold coins to priceless gems, arcus daydreams away as he walks. He images piles of said coins stacked up along the inside walls of the castle and treasure chests all full to bursting.

His daydreams become more and more wild with every second until the goob in charge speaks. It pulls him back to reality, and the ruined castle that's nothing like the pristine one in his imagination.

"I wonder who even built all of this..." Charybdis says and Arcus hums in thought as she goes on to think of ideas.

"Could have even been ancient mergoos?" He suggests after she's done talking. "I can't speak for all mergoos, but Kai and Asashi really enjoy building sandcastles whenever we visit a beach."

Whatever the reason was, none of them would truly know. Unless the inside of the castle had some sort of clues directing to it's creators.

They were much closer to the castle now. Arcus let out a gasp in awe at the sheer size of the thing. Though it's size is intimidating, he gets less nervous as he spots the various signs of age the castle had.

While looking around he spots some sea glass that had come free of the window. He takes a yellow one, Kai's favourite color, and a blue piece, Asashi's favourite color, as souvenirs for his two companions waiting back at the boat.

He puts the two rounded shards of Sea glass into his horn goo for safe keeping and quickly catches up with the group. Hopping over a crab as it scuttles out of the door his current companions had just gone through.

He walks in just as poor Charybdis trips over and faceplants the floor.

"Ouch."

Though, he ignores the suddenly appearing platform for a moment to make sure Charybdis was okay. It was only right since she had done the same for Asashi back on the ship.

Once he's sure she's okay, he then starts to explore around the castle. Though, he is sad that there isn't any huge piles of money. Maybe they were just hiding for now.

He quickly glances over the bookshelves, not at all interested in books. That's more of a Asashi thing. And then he passes the potion bottles, only sparing them a moment's look. He loves a little mischief here and there but he was not at all ready to be turned into a worm by accident.

Would Asashi and Kai still love him if he was a worm?

No, instead his curiosity is taken by the strange tanks in the room. He wipes off a thick layer of dust and sand from the side of it before peering at the contents inside.

Kai and Asashi, meanwhile, stay put on the ship for a while to calm down a bit. Asashi moves to sit by the ocean close to the ship, dipping her paws into the cooling water as she chatters away with her brother.

The moment of peace helps to settle her churching stomach. She is, for sure, swimming alongside the boat on the way home. And she is most definitely never stepping a paw on a ship, boat or anything else of the same kind ever again.

It's as she and her brother take a seat by the ocean, waves lapping at their feet, that they both hear a rather loud chuckle from somewhere. It's soon followed by Leviathan shouting.

They both exchange worried looks before getting up and dashing back onto the ship. Worried that someone might be hurt. Or worse, another group of pirates might be trying to raid their ship!

Kai freezes on the spot as soon as he spots the mass of tentacles that converge towards a single goobie. Davey Jones.

Asashi, too, is taken aback by the Gob's appearance. Hesitant to do anything as they join the others on the ship.

Both being mergoos, they had heard many story's of Davey Jones from many, many other mergoos. Even the land goobie knew about him! He was a force to be reckoned with for sure.

And then they both blink at the gob as he speaks so casually to them. Both had been expecting something more... Scary? Fearsome? Something more akin to the gobbess and the way she often spoke.

This guy... He seemed more like the cool uncle type as he spoke to Leviathan about getting them all safely for their father. It threw them both for a loop.

Arcus was never going to believe them when they told him about this later.

Asashi then immediately spots the glint in the Gob's eye, having seen the same look on Arcus way too many times.

"W-we need to go!" She says quickly, gently tugging her brother towards the plank leading off the boat.

"Whoa! Hold on sis-"

But before either of them can take another step forwards, water surrounds them. Grabbing them both and pulling them off the boat and under the waves with the gob and the rest of the crew.

Neither of them find it strange that despite now being surrounded by water they are unaffected by it. They have goo-gills after all. They were made to breathe water!

But they do find it strange to see all of the non mergoo members of group their group happy and able to breathe.

Was this one of the mighty Gob's powers? It must've been.

"We must be going somewhere," Asashi points out as she motions to the currents pushing them all along. "I wonder where to? And... I hope we get back before Arcus. I don't want to worry him..."

Kai paddles over to his sisters side, taking her paw in his as they float along the current together. He gives her and assuring smile too.

"Don't worry, sis. We'll be fine. I'm sure all those stories about Davey Jones eating whole ships - crew included - are just stories."

"Kai!!!"

Entry: neptune decided to look at some potions, as he was reminded of the lab! then, he got distracted by a crab and decided to follow it throughout the castle.


as for lotan, he found a cool rock! he liked it so much that he decided to take apart his eyepatch and make a necklace with it. he showed it to cecaelia, who seemed confused about lotan’s treasure.

as the goobie emerges and shows off its teeth, caspian does the only thing they think of. they call upon the local swamp witch of their world! caspian rummages through her bag to find the potion and smashes it on the ground and out comes lark and reed. reed looks sick but lark just looks annoyed!

"what did you...? oh. hey hatchling." lark looks at the guardian seemingly unbothered, essentially calling the scary looking goobie a baby crocodile as she tosses them a tasty goldfish snack pack.

Davina nixed the shovel from the start since it was rather hard to hold with her fins. Though she gave a small nod of thanks to Cecaelia. To show that she at least appreciated the offer.

That is when she began using her fins as two shovels to help dig with the rest. Letting out a slight chuckle to the mention of cheerful tunes. Since she in particular didn’t know many that would be cheerful. They just weren’t the first ones to come to her mind to sing.

Cecaelia sudden surprise took her attention away from the boring task the digging as come. Looking in her direction she saw that she had found something. ”Ha maybe this adventure will be fruitful after all.” she mumbled to herself. Turning her attention back to the digging she was doing prior with my vigor now.

Mind wandering to where her friend Llyod has chose to go. Since they had gotten separated once they landed the ship. It made her worry he could get into trouble since she wasn’t there to protect him. Though she hoped he was just having a fun time on this adventure. She’ll have to admit to him she has been having fun too. She would never hear the end of it from him though.

Soon enough she is brought out of her worried and hopeful thoughts by he fins. “Hey I found something!” she shouted gruffly as she began to dig faster. Wondering what kind of treasure she had uncovered.

Gujing starts off rather confident ! He's sure that staying on the ship is the best course of action. Keeping watch, making sure everyone is doing their duties . . . ! You know . . ! Staying close to Leviathan and . . um. Making sure everyone is being responsible, yep ! Not because she's unexperienced in being a pirate or anything. No no no ! Not at all, haha . . .

They hadn't quite expected anything like this to happen.

He's scared at first - eyes widened and a little shaky, but this shock quickly turns to awe. Glittering sands, colorful fish, beautiful corals . . . it's all so exciting, good gob ! She's a little confused as to how she's still breathing, but they waste no time worrying on that. Surely Davey Jones' will make sure they're safe!

Navy holding the shovel looks at his brothers in confusion while Lilac glances around the beach, finally back on his feet and less sick looking for anything he considered 'off' pawing at the sand while Crimson stays at Navy's side glancing off looking at Tangerine as he ignores everyone to play in the water

Tangerine bolted from his brothers at the first chance, his hat flying off the second he spotted the beach and made his way towards the water, he starts playing around splashing up a storm and getting soaked, Navy is going to have a hard time getting the sand and ocean water smell out of Tangerine's tail wrap-

Veen is shocked when she is suddenly taken away by the water, closing her eyes instinctively.

Of course, she accidentally inhaled some water cause she couldn't react fast enough, which made her realize that she could now breathe underwater! Needless to say, she was very confused.

She looked at Davey jones with more confusion than fear in her eyes. Davey jones was talking about something she couldn't quite focus on, questions rushing through her head.

She decided to stay close to Leviathan, but also try and get close enough to Davey Jones so she could ask exactly where they were going and why...She was nervous to ask her questions, so it took a bit for her to speak up.
She wasn't even sure if he had heard her, or if she was going to get a response....

Maddi stopped in her spot, frozen in place at the sight of giant stood in front of the jungle explorers, not letting them enter into the jungle. "Guys take it slow..." One goobie announced, others whispering words back and forth with them. "No! What if they eat me!?" One spoke, "What if they don't? What if they really are just a teddy bear and just look all mean and tough on the outside?" another spoke. "Ohh... Just like Merlin Ang!" A smaller goobie spoke, all of the words being exchanged prompted a goobie to blurt some words out. "Guys! This isn't the time to argue!", they were right, nobody knows who or what that giant is or what their intentions are, it wasn't the time to joke around, especially if someone could get hurt! Maddi kept frozen in her place, feet bolted to the floor. Only her eyes could move, looking at other's movement, watching their decisions. She couldn't make up her mind as she was more of a follower than a leader, as not many others were moving, she stayed put.
