the quartet looked around the shop before eventually deciding on their own individual outfits. out of everyone, neptune’s outfit was the most detailed - he made bracelets for himself using a bunch of different beads, and he also decorated his backpack—and himself—with sea-themed stickers. the diab also made an eyepatch for his stuffed bunny with scrap felt! to add even more, neptune found a parrot plush that he could carry around and, unsurprisingly, he decided to grab some shaped balloons “just in case.”

though three isn’t a big fan of dressing up, he decided to pick up a few items to join in with everyone. he had chosen a pearl bracelet (found for him by lotan) and some fake star earrings. as for lotan himself, he picked an eyepatch and a plastic sword.

last but not least, cordelia was the most indecisive out of all of them. to start, she grabbed some various sparkly hair clips to complement her fish one. she also decided to use glitter to make herself sparkly like treasure! though, she didn’t know what else to add, until neptune offered her some of his stickers. happily accepting, cordelia finished her outfit in joy.

alongside that, to make things even more fun, the four decided to all have matching bandanas. though, it was hard to decide on just one. cordelia found one with fishes, lotan’s had thunderbolts, neptune’s had stars, and three’s had a checkered pattern. a friendly debate began while trying to pick one until lotan had an idea. “how about we, you know, use all four? we could use all of the different fabric to get the best of all worlds,” he suggested. happy with the resolution, the group asked the shopkeeper if they could help bring their idea to life.

Entry: Angelina smiled upon being accepted into the group of recruits, eager to finally go on a big adventure! "Thank you," she said happily, already feeling determined to make sure she helped the group as much as she could with their quest. As the group grew, so did Angelina's excitement; her wings fluttered slightly with anticipation despite her best efforts to keep them still. Soon, Ahklut's announcement got her attention, and Angelina followed the group over to the shop, glancing around curiously at the merchandise. After being told to dress up like a pirate, Angelina began wandering throughout the store, looking for an outfit that would make her look like a member of a pirate crew.
First, she found a vest with a bunch of pockets- perfect for holding treasure! Next, she found a bandana with a bunch of skull and crossbones symbols, except the skulls were all smiling so it just looked cute instead of scary. Angelina tied it around her neck and continued on, eventually spotting a bunch of fake birds along one of the shelves. One of the birds caught her eye immediately; it was a little plush red bird that was the perfect size to rest on her shoulder. Then she headed over to a display of a bunch of swords. If she was going to be a pirate, she needed a cool blade to use to defend herself and the rest of the crew- Okay, so maybe she hoped that wouldn't actually be necessary, since she didn't really know how to fight, but it was better to be safe, right?- so she started carefully examining each blade to find the perfect one.
Finally, she found a short sword, more of a dagger really, with a little gold heart shaped jewel on the hilt. Since it matched her wings, Angelina decided it was destiny and cheerfully tied the sword's sheath around her waist. Last but not least, she selected a sturdy pair of boots to wear. Now she definitely looked just like a pirate! In her opinion, anyway. Angelina returned to the rest of the group, happy to have found a outfit fit for a pirate so that she would be ready for the adventure!

Right now Davina was rather annoyed with her companion. He had insisted after she agreed to go on this 'adventure' that they needed to get some pirate worthy outfits. Much to her dismay after her laughing fit was over she realized he was serious. With a simple roll of her eyes she exasperatedly said "Fine.". As she followed him to the shopping area to find several other goobies raiding the stalls. She assumed these where the rest of the goobies answering the board ad.

"Look at this! Isn't it amazing? So many are wanting to join in on this adventure!" Llyod exclaimed to his companion as he began bolting from stall to stall.

The shark goobie attempted to keep up with her friend as he raided the stalls. "Is this all really necessary?" she said as she picked up a black pirate hat with a fancy leather band around it and a big red feather. Which was promptly snatched by her friend to be placed upon her head with a grin.

As she rolled her eyes at him though a small smile was upon her face at his actions. "It is very much needed to help complete the look before we set off!" he told her as he began handing her various other items. Including a leather belt which matched the leather on what seemed to now be her hat. It had a pouch attached to it to hold things and a slot for a sword. Now that was something she could get behind having a sword.

"Okay okay enough get some stuff for yourself too idiot. I'm gonna go find me a sword." she said going off on her own a bit to find the perfect sword for herself.

Duarte decided to play along, he could have just gone in his old gear from his prime, but he didn't want to stand outside and sit around like some sort of old fool. The shop had plenty of clothing, accessories and the like that weren't all that accurate to what pirates actually wore. However the captain did find something that caught his eye, multiple sets of a full pirate's outfit, built in such a way that it was sturdy and secure- not to mention accurate to the past of piracy that he loved so dearly. However, when he stepped out, Silver paused- causing the larger goobie to speak out his question, trying not to sound unsure of himself. "What do you think, Silver? I'm lookin' like one of 'em modern pirates now! Got all the color on me and everything!" He looked like a unicorn mixed with a pirate, sparkles and colors all over the place on an outfit that was, by all other respects, historically accurate- which was a surprise in and of itself.

"I think I'm gonna stick with my regular bandana, captain... You look great though!"
He wasn't lying, but he sure sounded like he was lying anyways.

Entry: Llyod frowned slightly as Davina wondered off on her own to find a sword. Who was going to help him choose the perfect outfit? Llyod scoffed to himself, his fashion sense was good enough! Surely he’d find something without her help. Llyod had the grand idea that he should match with Davina in some way- even though he know she’d despise it. But Llyod was playful, and there’s nothing she could do about it. He laughed under his breath as he began to look for his pirate outfit.
A few stall visits later and Llyod was adorned with a blue feathered pirate hat. The feather was held with a similar leather band that Davina had on her hat. Perfect! Llyod wondered to himself, what’s next?. Perhaps some leather boots, and he’d definitely need a weapon like Davina!
Soon enough, the enthusiastic goobie found his way back to Davina. She was being swooned by all the swords on display. “So, what one are ye gonna choose matey?” Llyod asked, watching as Davina jolted with surprise as she snapped back into reality. “Don’t creep up on me like that, idiot!” Llyod just laughed, looking back at the swords and then her. “I want the sharpest one possible” Davina claimed with an evil-looking grin. "Of course you do" he replied with a playful eye roll. "I want the second sharpest then" Llyod added with a grin.

’Time to dress up…? Welp, one less thing for me to do!’ she thought to herself. Even though the pastel goobie was already dressed, she walked over to the chests filled with different pirate memorabilia, just to check out what was there. When walking up to the costume-filled chests, she saw a few goobs unsure of what to wear. “Need help picking something out, lil’ one?” Maddi asked the small goobie, struggling to pick out a costume for the adventure. “Oh I’m sorry… Did I scare ya?” she questioned in a mellow voice, to which the small goob responded in a quick nod, showing off that she was nervous around so many others. “I’m Maddi, but you can call me Mads! Would ya like some help picking?” she politely asked the shy goob. “…Yes please…” the goob responded quietly, accepting Maddi’s offer. “Ok! Show me what you’ve got so far!” Maddi answered.

After some time helping, the small goob was soon all decked out in her own pirate gear, Maddi instantly seeing how much her confidence boosted after getting all dressed up. “How’s that?” Maddi asked the little goobie, the goobie instantly responding, “I love it!!! Thank you Ms. Maddi!!” she blurted out before running off to her group. With that, Maddi was off to help a few others, before the group would set off on their adventure.
