It was a rare moment, one in which Jason's children had a moment to themselves as their parents were sleeping soundly. They had all made the decision to wake up early, holding a secret meeting in Akhlut's room. "As you know," Akhlut began. "In a week it is Dad's birthday. SO! I propose we go on an adventure and find him a real treasure!" The oldest of the four puffed her chest out proudly. This was clearly her best idea yet!

"But won't Mom and Dad be worried?" Leviathan asked. "What if we-"

"We'll be safe together, we're a good crew! Dad himself said so! Plus we'll leave a note and make it quick! They'll never even know we were missing!"

"...Can we really do this?" Charybdis asked, concerned.

"Won't know until we try! What say you Cecaelia?" The second oldest considered before smiling widely.

"I say lets make this a birthday no goobie will ever forget!"

"That's the spirit! All together, we'll be the best pirate crew yet and find our dad the finest treasure!" She placed her paw into the circle, joined by her siblings who nodded.

"TOGETHER!" A note was forged, and it was time to plan the treasure hunt adventure of a lifetime...

Welcome to the 'Treasure Hunt Adventure!' thread! Here every day a new prompt will be posted. With these prompts, they can be answered with writing or with art! Whether you like to write in first or third person is up to you! There is no minimum or maximum here, the focus is on fun, but those who put more effort in will be rewarded for that as well! Think Judge's Favorite! While new prompts will be posted every day, the deadline for each prompt is at MIDNIGHT EST. That being said I do work late, so new prompts may be delayed depending.

The four young pirates had managed against all odds to sneak out, unseen. Each of them felt differently over the whole thing of course, as they made their way to the nearest seaside town, Highwind Cove. "What... what do we do now?" Charybdis asked, tilting her head a slight as she bounced a few bubbles around to amuse the local tavern goers.

"Easy!" Ahklut replied, a wide grin forming over he features. "We expand our crew! Gotta get some help if we want to get the most epic treasure ever! I even already made up a sign!" She slapped it onto the tavern's notice board, giggling. 'WANNA BE AN AWESOME PIRATE AND FIND EPIC TREASURE? WE'LL TEACH YOU, ASK US HOW!' And below that was an arrow pointing towards where she stood, right below the sign. "It's perfect! We'll attract only the best of the best!"

"I wonder if any of 'em can actually speak pirate..." Leviathan mused.

"Or know of any good shanties..." added Cecaelia.

"If not we'll teach 'em!" Ahklut replied with a wink. "Alright crew look alive, here we go!"

Entry: Lu is a mergoo who hails from the sea. She knows a little bit about pirates and is eager to learn more. She excitedly approaches the sign and immediately goes to find the children and does her best to imitate how pirates talk.

As the group was eagerly waiting for someone to see their sign, a small bright coloured diab hopped their way over to them. "Ahoy! I twas explorin' the briney deep when I's happened to yer sign from me ship's crow's nest!" They said with a snicker. "Though I's just an old seadog, I's sure am quite handy when it comes ta locatin' coffer!" The children looked at eachother in awe as the strange diab stood there awkwardly. The diab smirked and bounced their head, breaking the silence. "I's Chupa!" they said. "the swashbuckler of the great seas! For I's 'fraid of no sea! I's a wise old salt afterall!" Chupa exclaimed. The children smiled in excitement andt all looked around at eachother as Chupa held their head up high.

Entry: Angelina was wandering along the street when she noticed a group of goobies talking beside the tavern's notice board. Reading the sign above them, Angelina grew curious and decided to approach the group. "Hi," she spoke up cheerfully. "I would like to help you with your quest to find treasure, if you want?" Truthfully, Angelina had never been on a big adventure before, but she had always wanted to. It sounded so exciting; venturing into unknown territories and seeing all kinds of cool stuff she had never seen before. Maybe now was finally her chance?
"My name is Angelina. I don't have much experience with all of this, but I am happy to learn!" Smiling hopefully, Angelina glanced around at each member of the group, waiting to see if she will be accepted as a recruit.

How did she end up here. She wants to go home. She misses Bubs- oh god, she misses BUBS. Her right eye gives a tiny twitch and her body coyly curls into itself with a hiss, drawing her lips back. The tiny thing is stuck battling herself, if she doesn't get crushed first she'll get lost later.

Her wings twitch as she throws herself along the road paths with frantic intention, before she pulls herself back and snaps her head up to stare at the board looming over her, and she flutters herself into the air, shoving papers aside- maybe she can find help. God only knows where Bubs is, and she know she will never find him alone. However, she pauses and reads over one.

Reese snorts. Stupid. But could be a good use for her time, and she DOES need help to find Bubs...

The little thing pauses and floats down before trotting her way over to a group of goobies flanked by a colourful diab and an angel with a flank of ice and blue. She makes her way over, instantly clambering over them and presenting herself to the children, looking up at them.

"Oi! You get a pirate recruit named Reese, who is very good at being commanding, and I... well that's a story for later. Deal?"

Davina had just been swimming around in the sea when she spotted her friend Llyod off in the distance. Deciding to get out of the warm sea to say hi to one of her dearest and really only friends. Stepping on the the soft sand of the beach enjoying the feeling of the soft sand between her paws. Grabbing her towel to dry herself off as she walked toward him. Leaving it around her shoulders as she finished and finally made it to her friend "Hey! What are you up to punk?" she said to him as she got closer. Hoping she would gain his attention with her usual banter.

When she spoke he looked away from what ever had captured his attention. A huge grin plastered upon his face "Just the shark I was looking for!" his statement confused her. Why was he looking for her? What was he up to now? Sighing she stood her ground crossing her fins as he was now sprinting toward her. One leg jutted out slightly looking like an almost annoyed stance to anyone else, but it was typical for her when she was about to hear something from her friend. "Okay I know your wondering so I'll cut to the chase. In the tavern I saw-" he'd begun before she cut him off.

"You actually saw something? That's amazing I'm so proud of you." she stated sarcastically joking with him.

He simply shook his head with a laugh as this was how she was normally. Always acting tough even toward him sometimes "Yeah yeah I get it I have poor eyesight. As I was saying there was this sign on the board that said 'WANNA BE AN AWESOME PIRATE AND FIND EPIC TREASURE? WE'LL TEACH YOU, ASK US HOW!' as soon as I read it I thought of you!" looking proud of his statement. Which simply gained him an 'are you stupid' look upon her face. Sighing slightly "Don't give me that look! It could be lots of fun! Please please please! We'll do it together!" he said begging his friend to consider the offer.

Letting out an exasperated sigh she nodded her head "Fine, but only because you will do it most likely with or without me. Someone has to be there to be your eyes and protect you." she said putting a flipper on his shoulder. As she began to lead the way back to the tavern.
