The darker ears and darker tipped tail moved a bit. She didn't think it would be a good idea to just let go of the leg she was holding...However, she only sighed and shook her head. She quickly grabbed the other leg, as she'd been told to. She tugged at the buck's leg. He gave another cry, and kicked the leg she now wasn't holding...though now it was in the snow. She tugged again and he fell down. She sighed with relief, and waited for one of the others to make the killing bite.

They nodded as they looked at Hyuuga. He'd looked a bit confused or...something, and they wondered why for a moment. They then shook their head a couple times. "Okay," they said, following him out of the den and looking around. They knew she probably wasn't in camp...as Hyuuga said he'd seen her run off. She still might be in camp, but they worried she wasn't.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked around. The white foot black phase she wolf shook her head as she listened. She let out a small breath, then, seeing the way Liberty now looked at Destiny. She snorted a bit...then shook her head. She listened as he then spoke about the resources, and how they seemed limited this season. She let out a small sigh. He resources were definitely limited this time around. She couldn't remember a time when they'd had such trouble. They'd come close before, she was sure. However, it had never been quite like this, and as Liberty looked at them she nodded to him. She watched as Dante stepped forward. She shook her head, listening as he and Liberty spoke. The two of them knew each other? She shook her head at that knowledge, and glanced to Destiny, then Shy Fawn.

She rolled her eyes a bit, at him...then looked to Blaze once more. She heard Shy Fawn once again say he understood. She then made a small sound as something smacked into her. She watched Eros roll, coming to a stop under Blaze. She saw the way he shivered, ears tucked back. She shook her head a couple times, and let out a small sigh. "I guess we won't tell him. Why are you out here, though?" she whispered back, since Liberty was currently distracted but might still hear them.


Starlight

The still handsome aging male smiled a wolf smile. The black-phase wolf twitched his ears and flicked his tail a couple times. He quickly followed after the younger wolf, or as quick as he could anyway. He continued to smile that wolf smiled. He tilted his head as he looked to her, as she didn't speak anymore after that. They were supposed to be talking, so he tried to think of a conversation starter.

The white muzzled shadowy one nodded to Hakuren. They ran over to Scythe when they saw her, saying "I put ice and snow on the ticks. Do I need to do anything else?" they asked. They then looked to where Hakuren was walking away, wanting to follow.

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup nodded. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked around, then back to them. "Okay...lets see if we can find marking scents, then." He thought that was actually a good idea. He moved away from the river, sniffing around again.

River shook her head, she had zoned out. "Rats" she scolded herself before forcing her paws to lead her closer to the Buck. She had been on the back end of it by his back but when Castor yelled to her the young huntress snapped back into her reality. her kill. Okay, no pressure. She could've laughed if the situation wasn't so now or never. Not allowing herself to think on it anymore, she ran towards the front of the buck. Her paws digging into the snow with each step, she dived between the other wolves as she approached the exposed neck of the Buck. Saying a silent prayer for the Buck, thanking it for it's life she lowered her head to land a deadly bite to the buck's throat. River bit down, harder than she ever had before. A growl rising from her as blood dripped into her mouth, the copper taste only motivated her to help her pack secure the meal.

Destiny nodded at the Redmoon Alpha's response. She was pleased in knowing that they had a similar understanding about the struggles of this current winter and the wanting to seek a truce. This new Alpha, Liberty was definitely more understanding than the previous one. And honestly he was better looking - which Destiny wasn't going to complain about.
As Dante told her he would consider the proposal. Destiny swished her tail with another nod of her head. Her eyes scanning over the darker toned wolf in front of her. She hoped it wasn't obvious she was almost checking the other Alpha out. She shook her head returning herself to the conversation. "Yes, Let's discuss" she confirmed.
To her surprise, Dante had started a conversation with Liberty. They know one another? she thought to herself, he ears pricked with interest. Soon enough her heart shattered in realization of how they knew one another. Destiny took a step forward and let her fur brush against Dante to attempt to comfort her closest friend- as she saw him breaking down slightly. Destiny's eyes went back to Liberty. Had he really gone that much out of his way to help the enemy pack? So he did have a good heart, proving his intentions to help both packs would be true. She thought to herself once again. Happy her gut and Beta had not strayed her from opting out of listening to his proposal. Curiosity pricked her, she wondered what his idea could be. Destiny had a few of her own but would rather save them to see what the other Alpha had ideas of. "Thank you for helping Dante and Weiss. Our pack appreciates your efforts" she spoke, her voice faltering momentarily with emotion. She had remembered the day Dante had returned to camp with his heart shattered. Dante had now returned to his normal cold stature beside her. She couldn't help but smile at the comment Liberty threw Dante's way and vice versa. At least this meeting wasn't going badly.

Blaze lashed his tail in response to ShyFawn, that wolf was worthless. A waste of energy to even focus on when his alpha would need him. His attention turned back to the alphas and the wolf who had introduced himself as Dante. Blaze listened intently as Dante spoke in regards to Liberty. Blaze wasn't shocked, Liberty did have a kind soul. What he was suprised on was the Starlight alpha being willing to hear his ideas. They weren't bad knowing Liberty , however the Alpha didn't even take an afternoon to consider. Was she Dumb or were they desperate for help. A growl escaped Blaze when Dante mentioned killing Liberty. Even in a joking manner, that didn't sit well with Blaze. The growl was cut short by Eros running into them. Blaze shot the pup a glare and nodded when Gauge said they wouldn't tell. "If you trail this far from camp again I will tell him"

Kaija shook himself, regaining his strength and his breath. He brought in one long breath and released it slowly. He set his gaze to his pack mates and the buck, who was now faltering. The metallic smell of blood carried through the air, his tongue wrapped his maw from one side to the other. Finally....
He trotted over, "River, you did great!" His tail swayed behind him and he grinned down at her with a cocky smirk. The deer panted in her grasp, but the breaths slowed and came further and further apart. The eyes were glazed, and Kaija saw only success. He threw his head back in a triumphant howl.

Elle; Starlight Hunter; Mikage and Daisy

"You will definitely need a pack to take down elk and buck, you know." Elle smiled warmly. Such skill, and so young too. Redmoon must have been strong and stable, or else could a pup be that swift and smart?
"You know your pack will still miss you. Such talent for the hunt! They will surely need you!"
She looked at Mikage and started to speak quietly, "What would be the harm in taking her to the den? Just until--"
Then the howl rang across the meadow. The voice carried far by the valley, a strong and boastful song by their neighboring pack. Elle's eyes fell from Mikage and out into the meadow beyond them.
Something in that wolf song was familiar to her, it was reminiscent of her old home. She heard her father in that howl, and yet....

He looked at the pup and then the hunter next to him, with a sight "Elle is right, you can't go on your own, it's too risky for a little wolf like you" he called out. He was silent for a moment as he thought of his next words "well, if you don't want to get back to your pack, then what about joining us then?" he managed to ask. He knew that this could be a risky situation if the pup was from the Redmoon pack, they could try to find her and could understand wrong if she was being seen in the Starlight pack.

He gave a look behind when he saw Wolfcry once again run to the healer's den, he was not sure what the warrior was planning, but if he needed to hunt he better do that now, instead of waiting. He walked over to the camp entrance and made his way toward the river, he knew to have some salmon if he had luck on his side at all.

She shook her head "no no need to we may need to change his whole bedding, but later, he will stay in the healer's den, for now" she responded to the young warrior. She was not yet sure if the Whisper's problems were only because of the ticks, but she decided to him to be now and keep an eye on him, to see if he gets better or worst or if he has some other problems.

She sniffed the air a few times before thought she actually found some there, following the scent which was surprisingly getting stronger and stronger. She flicked her ears and then to her tail and stopped "uh, I think we found them..." she called out looking at Kuroi and Kairo "I think our alpha and Dante are there too...somewhere past those trees there?" she said.

She sniffed the air as well, but followed Yomi, she had a better scent of smell than she had anyways. She did find the tracks of their alpha as well "uh oh, they were closer than I thought...there are some odd scents too? Could they be Redmoon wolves?" she said silently, feeling a little nervous.

He held the buck when River finished it off, taking a few steps backward he looked at the young hunter "Good job River" he said to her proudly. He looked over to the others when looked at the area around them "Now then, who of you want to be the one to call our pack here for the food? This is too large to carry to the camp and it could not be that wise either" he said to them.

He looked over to the healer and then flicked his tail as he turned around toward the entrance, Daisy's scent could still be on the ground, so he took a deep sniff of the ground near the entrance "yeah, she was here" he said to the healer. His eyes looked to the way the pups tracks were going " so what's her problem anyway? why was she so eager to leave the camp?" he asked as he walked forward.

River dropped the buck from her jaws, licking around her mouth quickly to clean the remaining blood off of it. As she heard Castor and Kaija, her tail wagged involuntarily as she received an ounce of praise from the wolves. She could do her best to keep her composure but the excitement did take over at times - this being one of them. As she brought herself back down to a calm demeanor she opened her mouth "Thank you" she said softly before glancing around at her other pack-mates to see who would be the one to alert the pack of their success.

Kaija; Red Moon Hunter//Elle; Starlight Hunter

Kaija's steps carried his pride as he pranced around the meadow. Such a great hunt, successful, and invigorating. He needed to step away though, something drove him to take a walk. He passed his pack mates, tail high with nothing but good feelings. He'd padded out until the meadow opened wider, and less was hidden by the crops of trees that outlined its edge. His gaze swept the field like the breeze that swept the high grass.
His tail dropped, though. His focus now locked on two wolves standing at the edge of the landscape. The pup was too small, he had no clue Daisy was there. His nose twitched with new information. Down-wind as he was, something about the white wolf was familiar. The smell...His lips quivered fighting a grimace.
His brisk walk turned quickly to a trot and evolved then into a full run. Within moments he was there, and Elle cried out in shock.

"KAIJA!" She moved to turn in place, but before she could fully swing herself away, Kaija was on her. He'd brought her down to the ground, fangs gracing her cheek. His hot breath stunk, as it always had. Her tail wiggled nervously between her hind legs and she kept her front feet bent close to her chest. She winced and kept her face as far away from his as she could, but the moisture of his breath and the sound of his snarls seemed only to come closer.

"What are you doing here?" He snarled, he could feel her tremble in his chest, or was that just the roar in his chest?
"Please, Kaija, i'm tired..." She whispered it hoping no one else would hear her except for her brother.
"You're a curse to anything you touch," He nipped her then, the pinch made her cry out, "What are you DOING HERE?!"

Liberty

Liberty: After briefly getting sidetracked by a re-introduction to a miserable ebony wolf amongst the starlight ranks he acknowledged that destiny would hear his proposal with a nod and regained some of his lost composure. With a peaceful audience agreed upon between the Alphas he breathed in softly and then sat back on his haunches, inches from the protection of his pack mates, with that breath he spoke “I propose a time of peace, whether or not it is permanent is up to you, and during this time of peace I would like to come to a better arrangement for the hunting grounds we split that could better benefit all of us. –”, The brute was just about to continue speaking when he heard a small sound of discomfort come from Gauge followed by a thud like something had just hit the ground behind him he tried to ignore it at first then continued speaking, “I also would like to speak on combining the efforts of our hunters and healers when the weather becomes harsh.--”, He stuttered before he continued speaking because he heard a noise behind him again this time it was a voice he could hear clearly as Gauge, Blaze, and now Eros were all speaking. A tight knot formed in his stomach what was Eros doing out here? What was happening back at camp that had his healer too distracted to watch Eros as requested?

“--Harsh enough to justify the means. I believe that we can make this coming winter much easier on each other and ultimately I hope to leave the reasons for our squabbling behind.” he finished briefly to look over his shoulder to see that yes indeed Eros was here shivering underneath Blaze while the adults affirmed they would keep this a secret from the Alpha. It didn't settle well with the brute to hear that but he had other concerns at hand that carried more weight. He looked back at Destiny with a soft face that had brows tight with other concerns yet his eyes and ears were in the moment. He didn't expect to come to an agreement right now he figured Destiny would need some time to consider or think of a proper response. “Winter will be here sooner this year, my instincts tell me this winter will be most treacherous and filled with strife. I expect you should want some time to think. We can meet again and iron out the details if you wish at a later date.” he said finishing the proposal. Liberty would be most intrigued to meet this she-wolf Alpha again under different circumstances and perhaps with fewer pack mates around to make things difficult.

Dante

Dante: The ebony brute dreaded every moment he played at kindness while speaking to Liberty the only good that came from speaking to the Alpha was the small amount of peace he secured when he was able to thank Liberty on his mate's behalf otherwise Liberty could drop dead for all Dante was concerned. Only one wolf here was born to lead these lands and that was Destiny or so he felt. In silence, now standing next to his Alpha shaking his head in a snarky manner teeth exposed clearly showing his distaste for the first half of Liberty’s proposal because to Dante it was absurd what did he think the Starlight pack was full of mindless wimps who need to have their paws carried. His eyes narrowed as he could tell the brute was occasionally distracted by something happening behind him, Dante saw it, a pup had followed the adults here. Undisciplined and unorganized what a mess Dante thought to himself as he listened to Liberty wrap up this idea of his. But when Liberty looked back Dante caught a brief glimpse of the distraction it was an ebony pup one Dante swore he knew but could not name the pup. That wasn't any of his concerns, so for now he was thinking of a way to properly advise his Alpha without coming off cruel or obviously very opinionated towards violence in her honor.

Eros

Eros: A great wave of relief wafted over the pup as Gauge and Blaze decided they would both keep quiet about what had just happened he was confident too until the noise of their stifled conversation seemed to disturb Liberty while he spoke with the Alpha of the enemy pack then suddenly Eros looked up while he lay under Blaze only to catch a glimpse of Liberty looking down at him then returning to the other Alpha. “Awe crap…I’m totally screwed..” he whispered with great amounts of despair remaining underneath Blaze now using him as a shield in hope it would stifle some of Liberty’s gentle fury. “He just saw me!”
