Is that.. it is! You come across a
wermling!
You can either take this wermling with you,
or just say hi and go your separate ways. (#4853 by PaperFriend!) And oooh.. looks like someone left
30 gummies here!
option: take the wermling with you
Khamari, Skriddle and Pip do their routine wander around the
city ruins, avoiding what look like sinkholes and trying not to
trip over piles of broken up buildings. it truly lives up to its
name - the entire place is overwrought with decay, dust and
piles of garbage. there's also an eerie egg-shaped thing that
seems to be peeking out at them every now and again.
all of a sudden, Pip lets out a squeak, and the other two turn
around to look at her staring widely at a bright-coloured lump
on the ground. Khamari's hackles raise, and she takes the first
steps forward, ever the leader of the group. the little lump turns
out to be a wermling. the trio stare at each other in shock. there's
a small puddle of gummies at its feet, as if it was trying to carry
out an act of thievery - or maybe whoever left the child here was
so desperate to get rid of them, that they even left a precursory
payment. how awful. Khamari shudders at the thought.
Pip pipes up first. "Well, we can't leave a child out here,
all alone. We have to take it home." Khamari looks at the child
warily, exchanges a glance with Skriddle, who nods
enthusiastically, and sighs. she nods at Pip, who gathers the
small wermling in her paws and slings it onto her back.
renewed with new vigour, the trio tread onwards to the abandoned lab.
