xxxxthe trio set off on their trek to rebuild- to give their daughter the best life they were
xxxxcapable of. at least one where the good days outweighed the bad. unfortunately, the flu
xxxxhad passed along with its blanket of prophesied protection. just barely on the outskirts,
xxxxthe family came across an unpredictable batch of survivors. she was left to finish their
xxxxjourney to the renowned settlement; orphaned at sixteen. in hopes, and a secret vow,
xxxxto keep other children from her own poor twist of fate, winona tasked herself to hone
xxxxher defensive skills, becoming quite skilled with a crossbow and hand-to-hand combat.
xxxxhowever, growing into adulthood, she began to devote her time to the children within
xxxxthe settlement, helping care for them and distract them from reality when she can.

xxxxxBefore the flu, Naomi was a normal child, raised by two parents who pushed her to be the very best she could be. She excelled in dance and acting and had dreams of being a famous actress, inspired by her supportive parents who would have helped get her anywhere she wanted to go. Unfortunately, she lived in New York City when the flu struck, and her parents quickly succumbed, leaving her with her warm-hearted aunt who dabbled in herbal medicine, something Naomi would come to understand and appreciate.

xxxxxStill holding onto a handful of dreams, Naomi fell for a teenager named Daniel they had taken in, not wanting to turn away anyone in need. At nineteen, Naomi bid her aunt farewell when they came up with a plan to move west, having heard rumors of settlements forming along Lake Michigan. They found the farm nearly two years later after attempting to survive on their own. When Naomi became pregnant, they realized they needed help and found the settlement.

xxxxxTragedy struck in an instant. Naomi gave birth to a premature little boy, who only survived a few days. Worse, Daniel injured himself on a patrol not six months later and earned himself a nasty infection, taking him down swiftly. headstrong and confident to a fault, you'll
probably never meet somebody as dedicated
to his craft as good ol' tucker. though he
falls outside the norm in terms of a 'team
player', tuck's still a sociable guy and takes

leni is, in many ways, like a feral cat. as long as you keep your distance and don't try t
o interact then she's completely fine. strangers are like defcon 1, but instead of nuclea
r war we're talking about how likely she is to attack. she'll never be completely comfor
table with someone, but there is a certain level of trust that can be established. the hi
ghest being willingness to protect, the lowest being that she doesn't lunge at first glan
ce. she really can be a good person, there's just some issues that she has to work throu
gh. she became independent at a young age, and didn't have anyone to correct her gra
y morality. so far she's done well alone, but could benefit from someone with patience.
